Yeah, i agree. While I am reminded to not be stressed so much on the small things, I take down notes of the smallest details too. I started writing my vow 3 months ago, I have a planner for my wedding alone. So I write it there, very random lang pag naisip ko. So hiwa hiwalay sya ng pages. Haha! I write down list of songs to play na, I have a playlist on spotify ng compiled wedding songs ko, walking down the aisle song, program flow, song and story board ng SDE. I still have 9 months to prepare, but since from time to time I tend to be obsessed in the preparation, I too, had dreams. Mine naman, hindi ready ang flowers sa church at wala yung videographer. Nagkamali din daw ako ng sabi ng date sa ibang guests at suppliers. Haha!!! Grabe! Mabilis na lang talaga sis, I learned so much from other brides na wag masyado mag panic kaya ok din to be prepared unti unti pero dapat a year before the wedding, para sa wedding itself, si h2b na lang ang iisipin ko. Gusto ko i savour ang moment.

^ Hi ladies! February 2017 bride here! Minsan nga feeling ko din matagal pa naman and I have booked all the major suppliers so medyo relax nako ngayon, but there are times na maiisip mo din na mabilis na lang ang oras. So I think one be one we need to focus also on other details of our wedding na usually ay sa huli inaayos, like the flow of the program, songs to play, writing of vows (as of now, nagsstart nako maglagay sa MS word everytime I can think of good lines na pwede sabihin) and other things na sa huli pa natin ginagawa para pag dating ng wedding natin hindi tayo stressed.

By the way, kaya ko naisip to because nanaginip ako kanina, wedding ko na daw at di ko pala nafinalized yung songs na ipplay! oh my! hahahaha

Hi! Newbie here! August 2017 bride po ako. So far booked na po namin ang church, reception, gown ko, church aisle flowers (since hindi kasi included sa church package) and event organizer pero po yung nabook namin na reception mukang alanganin yung laki. so baka mag change kami ng reception kaso naman yung mga malalapit na venue sa church namin sobrang mahal. may nakita ako kaso parang sobrang layo I need your opinion girls, sa tingin ninyo, how far in between church and reception is too far? thanks in advance and happy preps.

^ hi kaitlynmischa! I read here at GT naman na usual lang yung mga bride na nananaginip about their wedding. Hhahaha. Nakakastress naman yung sayo! ibang dates yung nasabi and walang ng videographer!  Anyway, maybe due to wedding preps stress din minsan! hahaha. but you're right dapat di tayo magpanic! Let's take it one step at a time! Di natin mamamalayan, we are already few days before our big day! happy preps sis!

^arch_lyrrehs: Hi sis! Yung question na how far will depend on a lot of factors:

- anong araw wedding mo? weekday, saturday or sunday. (usually Sundays walang traffic pag Metro Manila)
- Saan ang wedding mo? Manila? (always traffic except sunday) or province? (less traffic) Tagaytay? (traffic pag weekend but not during weekdays)
- oras ng wedding mo? weekday na sabay sa uwian ng office (traffic). early morning or late night (depending on the venue ang traffic)

For me, those are the things you need to consider sis. I think a 30 min. drive is the max, (sana kasama na traffic) pag manila kasi kahit malapit lang inaabot ng 1 hour!

@arch_lyrrehs Hi sis! My church is in binondo then my reception is in vito cruz Depende siguro kung ano yung normal sa inyo and yung kung may mga transpo ba yung guests nyo. Sa amin kasi normal nang hindi magkalapit yung church at reception talaga. And kung issue yung distance dahil sa transpo, baka added expense sa inyo pag magpprovide pa kayo ng transpo sa guests. HTH

^meixin Hi sis! thanks, ours is in quezon city area mga 15km apart siguro yung church and reception na gusto ko and to think pa that my wedding day is on a friday. kamusta naman ang traffic. but actually, baka nga mag provide kami ng transpo pero for guests lang na galing pa ng province and yung kasali sa entourage.I'm based abroad kasi kaya medyo panic mode na ako ngayon palang. hopefully pag uwe ko sa november maayos na lahat ng major na need. thanks again sis

^itsKat! thanks sis! unfortunately lahat ng factors natapat sa araw ng kasal namin. our wedding is set on friday, ang ceremony is at 4pm-5pm so 5pm ang travel time to reception. santo domingo church kami sa quezon avenue (puntahan kapag friday ) reception is at Don jose heights clubhouse commonwealth. though sabi ng taga don jose hindi naman daw masyado problem ang traffic sa commonwealth kasi malaki ang road problem is quezon avenue area. goodluck sa amin.

^ hi arch_lyrrehs, since its Friday and magfa-fall sya ng rush hour matratraffic ka lang sa quezon ave, pero madami naman alternative route if you want to shorten travel time. Once makalampas ka na sa Qave, mabilis na lang sa Commonwealth, I am from Don Antonio kasi eh. It might take you 45mins, because more likely 5:30 ka na makakaalis because of picture taking so mas may build up sa traffic unlike pag saktong 5pm since kakalabas pa lang ng iba from office. I guess that's not bad naman. Hindi naman sila pagod sa byahe cos its not too far and maluwag ang commonwealth, I guess sa traffic lang talaga sa QAve. I think that's kind of tolerable since dumadaan ako dun.

I've booked the major suppliers (coordinator, catering, photo, video, venue, HMUA, emcee, bridal gown, stylist) already but I feel there's still a lot to do and I only have 5 months to go.

Grabe mga sis ako rin nanaginip! Wala daw P/V tapos bumabagyo! Nastress ako pagkagising ko kasi akala ko totoo na talaga!...hahaha

MY wedding is July 2017, Wedding gown and P/V palang nabook ko. hehe. Ang bilis ng araw, when we got engaged last June 2015, sinasabi namin lagi 2 years pa naman malayo pa, pero ngayon a year to go nalang.

Ako naman nung isang araw nanaginip ako, prepared na daw kami lahat, papunta na sa church pero wala pa yung P/V namin. Yun pala kinabukasan pa yung wedding! Hehe
Super naiyak ako buti na lang panaginip lang!

i thought ako lang ang ganto, sa sobrang excited, yes napapanaginipan ko na ang wedding day and oa lang ang scenes sa kapalpakan. one time nanaginip ako na nakalimutan ko dalhin sa hotel ang wedding gown ko and i end up calling my cousin at inaway sya baket nya kasi hiniram hiram pa. haha

Ako din mga sis nanaginip about my wedding. Yung wedding gown ko daw kulang sa tela kaya pinagtagpi-tagpi nalang. Tapos pag gising ko para na akong maiiyak. Kaloka! Hahahaha!

^nakakatawa naman mga panaginip natin girls! well, dahil marami tayo! it means normal lang talaga! baka pag super stress lang tayo sa pagppreps umaabot na hanggang panaginip natin! but i hope all our weddings will be fine and more than what we have wished for! O eto fresh, kaninang morning when I woke up from a dream, iba naman scenario. Galit na galit ako kay h2b kasi hindi nya sinabi sa family nya formal ang wedding, naka casual sila. Hahaha! At ito na naman ang trauma ko sa flowers sa church, iba iba daw kulay hindi match sa motif ko.  Ano ba yan, nanaginip talaga ako ulit.  Weird! Oh well, same hopes as yours mga sis, I wish our weddings will all be a success!

Hi! Ang tagal kong nawala mga sis.

Something came up and we needed to move the wedding to 2018. I felt quite sad about it pero okay na ako ngayon. Although the reason was nothing very serious but it has to be moved.

Congrats nga pala sa mga sissies na nakakausap ko dati dito na naikasal na at ikakasal pa lang. Best wishes mga sis!

Matagal tagal pa ako so I have more time to prepare. See you around.

Hi Mga sis! Feb 2017 bride here! How's your prep so far?
