Though in my case kasi we had to move it kasi.  we originally scheduled it on Oct 2016, kaso nung naghanap ng lucky dates, lahat ng 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice namin para sa venue booked na. So we had to reschedule to January 2017. Minsan naiisip ko na kung nakuha namin yung original plan namin e di 3 mos nalang iaantay ko ngayon

^same tayo sis, I also have a date in mind already but when I asked for lucky dates, I moved our wedding date as well. Buti nalang few days lang ang differences from the original.

^June 2015 pa kami naengage, so it's a two-year engagement for us. We wanted it earlier per baka mabitin yung money namin eh. We wanted a nice wedding so we needed more time para maipon yung wedding budget (plus the first year living budget+honeymoon). Kaya we had no choice but to wait for 2 years. hehe

^In my case naman, we started going to bridal fairs last year pa but finally decided on the date which is, Feb 2017, early this year. Ok na rin yung 1 year prep para makaipon pa kmi hehe.  And now only 7 months to go and we haven't decided on a lot  of details yet!  Sometimes nagpapanic ako hahaha.

I was engaged Dec 2013 and just a few weeks later, nagpacivil na kami agad No preparation at all.  And yes minadali para makasama ko siya to live here abroad. We promised to our family na pag uwi namin sa PH will have our church wedding. But we just started planning last Dec, so we still have a few left suppliers to settle (Bridal car, invitation, gifts).  That's why it's double the excitement, really can't wait to be home and get wed again.

Kami kasi mid-2015 pa lang nag uusap na pero hindi kasi nya mahanap yung shape ng stone na gusto ko so Feb pa kami nakabili then one week kasi custom order so beginning of March 2016 yung engagement.

Actually gusto nya October 2016. Sabi ko lang no way dahil kailangan mag travel ng madami plus mahirap mag book sa Pilipinas ng church and reception venue.

Pero now naisip ko sana October na lang para tapos na lahat since we are having a smaller wedding than I originally envisioned. Worry ko baka next year ubos na excitement ko kasi 10 months ahead na-plan ko na lahat

Originally we planned to get married in January 2017, halos puno agad yung January 2017 a year before pa lang, but we luckily got a slot pa. Pero we felt that we need ample time to prepare so we moved it to April. Looking back naisip ko sayang 5 mos to go na lang sana, plus I feel that the weather is better if we booked our wedding in January.  Haha!

may question ako mga sis. yung family ba ni groom, kaninong suite dapat magjjoin at matulog? inaalala ko kasi, yung team ng magmmake up is nasakin, pero inaalala ko din pano yung photoshoot ng family ni groom?

Or sakin sila matutulog, tapos punta na lang kay groom after ng makeup? Share po kayo ng ginawa niyo please

Girls, do you sometimes wish that you scheduled your wedding earlier?

We got engaged in March 2016 and getting married in April 2017. I wish we made it a short engagement. I am excited na to be married and also I do not like the prolonged stress.

Ako sis simula nung magsukat ako ng wedding gown, kahit di pa yun yung sakin, gustong gusto ko na mag next year. Naexcite ako bigla ng super! May 2017 kami hehe.

For sure mabilis na lang ang araw sis lalo na busy days na ang coming months. Hehe. Kami rin! We're trying to keep it within the budget pero aiming for a beautiful wedding. 

Sis BBB21 April 2017 kami. Hihi! Malayo pa pero feeling ko mabilis na lang! Its both happy and stressful when preparing talaga! Haay iwas upgrade muna ako medyo ceiling na hehe!

^ Hi ladies! February 2017 bride here! Minsan nga feeling ko din matagal pa naman and I have booked all the major suppliers so medyo relax nako ngayon, but there are times na maiisip mo din na mabilis na lang ang oras. So I think one be one we need to focus also on other details of our wedding na usually ay sa huli inaayos, like the flow of the program, songs to play, writing of vows (as of now, nagsstart nako maglagay sa MS word everytime I can think of good lines na pwede sabihin) and other things na sa huli pa natin ginagawa para pag dating ng wedding natin hindi tayo stressed.

By the way, kaya ko naisip to because nanaginip ako kanina, wedding ko na daw at di ko pala nafinalized yung songs na ipplay! oh my! hahahaha

One thing I learned during preparation, weddings need not be that expensive. In our case, we wanted an elegant wedding yet we're sticking with our budget. We're looking for not so commercialized suppliers na may very good reviews. You just have to prioritize the things and suppliers then decide where you really want to splurge out and do a lot of research. So far, everything's turning out the way we planned it. Sana nga until wedding day na. Hehe. Hope it helps! Happy preps!
