^ hi sis. depende yan kung paano mo gamitin. yun nga lang, dalawang annual fee ang babayaran mo. pero sabi nila, generous naman ang bdo sa pagwaive ng annual fee :) by the way, yung AMEX, namimili ng merchant kung saan pwede iswipe. and yung shopmore naman, makakatipid ka kapag may 3 day sale yung sm kasi meron sila 10% discount.

ako naman, pinagsama ko na HSBC ko. 2 cards kasi yung meron ako sa kanila, pumayag naman sila na iconsolidate both cards kasi hindi naman sila shared limit. ginagamit ko lang ang credit card ko para mawaive ang annual fee. actually, meron ako citibank and bpi pa. yung bpi - i use it sa petron para may discount ng 3%. citibank di ko pa nagagamit kasi kakausapin ko muna sila regarding annual fee. bpi and hsbc kasi di mahirap kausap sa annual fees. etong citibank, mahirap. i have simplicity pero pag gagamitin mo, wala naman rewards. sayang ang points. lol

^Hi sis! Thanks for the reply! :)

That's what I'm considering :/ x2 yung annual fee :( Pwede namang ipaclose ko yung isa by the end of the year no?
Totoo yung AMEX na namimili :( Do you have any idea about gaining points on AMEX?

Iniisip ko naman, sa ShopMore, di ko rin magagamit sa 3-day sale since bihira ako magshopping within 3-day sale ng SM :/

Sis, pano yung iconsolidate yung both cards?
Mahirap ba magmaintain ng maraming CC?

^ hi sis! I?ll try to answer your questions kasi hindi rin naman ako expert sa credit cards.

Yes sis, dahil you have two cards, x2 ang annual fee that you will pay. Unlike Citibank, dami ko nabasa na horror stories about waiving of annual fees. Check both cards if both have free annual fee on the first year and second year ka pa mabigyan ng annual fee. Both cards are beneficial depends on your needs din kasi. With regards to consolidation, I have 2 cc kasi sa hsbc with different limit. (one classic and one red) I called them if possible to retain one card na lang, yung red na lang then ginawa, pinaconsolidate lahat ng purchases ko, then nilipat dun sa red card. Tapos yung limit, pinagsama din. Very helpful for me kasi hindi na dalawa ang annual fee at isa na lang ang ipapakiusap ko para magwaive ng annual fee. Dito maluwag si hsbc. At mababait pa csr. Especially now, kakatapos ko lang bayaran lahat ng utang ko last December (and with interest pa). ayaw ko na kasi na kumita pa sila sakin. haha learned my lesson (the very hard way) lol

^^^  mahal conversion ng citibank. tried buying the same item & price with my BDO and Citibank, 200+ din ang difference nila. didn't have any issues using my bpi/bdo cards overseas naman. after ko makita yung difference ng conversion, i never use my citibank overseas anymore. hehe

Pinakamura sa Security Bank, 0% daw foreign transaction fees. BPI next, .75%, tapos BDO 1%, the rest nasa 2.5%-3.5% (Citibank). Nanghihinayang din ako kasi favorite kong gamitin yung PremierMiles. Altho yung ibang cards like HSBC may accelerated RP sa overseas spend magkaka 4x pts naman.

Mga sis na hsbc cardholders, is it better if i get the security device? Or mga credit card transactions online?

^^ hi sis hisana!

i have hsbc card. at wala naman ako security device. mahal din siya, i think around 500 or 600 sya?
nakakapag online transaction naman ako for hsbc kahit wala yung security device though hindi ako makapagsend ng message sa kanila via their hsbc portal, but, pwede ka naman tumawag sa customer service nila. in fairness sa kanila, kudos to their customer service. magaling.

Hi sis! Thanks for the info. Kapag online kasi ako sa hsbc and sometimes when I click on something, ile-lead lang ako dun sa ad ng device. I'm wondering tuloy which features are available only to those with the device.

Hi! I just got mine today and mabilis ang process niya. Feb22 online application then ngayon ko nakuha. Wag nalang pansinin yung credit limit haha! Platinum na 10k limit hehe. Pero pwede na din kasi waived annual fee if used 12x in a year :D aaannnddd 2 gives at 0% interest rate sa straight purchase :D

"Unleash the power of 2-Gives with Robinsons Bank DOS MasterCard. Enjoy 2-Gives at 0% interest for all straight retail purchase with no requirement minimum amount. Be one of our Founder Members and enjoy a lifetime waiver of annual fee. Just use your Robinsons Bank Credit Card at least 12 times within a year. "
