Nagapply ako ng bpi credit card. This morning someone from BPI called me for verification ng details. After nun ano na next?

You wait if it's approved or rejected. Minsan ilang araw lang, minsan tumatagal ng weeks yung result. If you have eol account, a credit card will show prior sa text ng bpi na approve na ang application mo. Goodluck sa application mo sis! So far happy ako with bpi

^^thanks sis! Mabilis nga lang. I got a text measage this morning na approved appli ko at madedeliver yung card in 5 days. 5 working ba yun or calendar days? Sa experience niyo dumating ba talaga within 5 days?

Nag apply din si bf ko, mas nauna siyang tawagan (siguro 3 days pagitan namin) kaso until now wala pa siyang text. Ibig sabihin ba nun di approved yung kanya? Konting info lang mas malaki salary niya sakin kaso 1st cc niya to if ever. Ako kasi may existing na with bdo, may factor ba yun kaya mas mabilis application ko?

^--- I don't think so.  BPI would charge a non-payment fee + interest charge if you missed paying on the due date.  Doon kumikita ang credit card and that's how they work.
Due date is entirely different from the cut off date.

Yung October bill ko na Php172.00, di ko nabayaran. Na overlook ko din kasi di ko naman ginagamit BPI cc ko, sa uber ko lang sya nagagamit. So, nakalimutan ko na nag uber ako so kala ko wala akong bill. Tapos after due date, may tumatawag na saken na from Amerex na collector. Kulit lang kasi, for Php172.00, pinasa pa nila ko sa third party agency may dumating pang notice saken sa office.

Nagka charge ako ng Finance Charge + Late Payment Fee ( worth 8 pesos 🤣 ) at interest.

Sarap nya i pa cut. Haha.

oo sis nacharge ako finance charge. due date ko ng nov 27, nagpartial payment ako before due date, tapos bago magcut off (dec7) na-full ko ang total amount due ko.

sa metrobank napapa-waive ang charges, (late / finance charges), pero mataas kase kay  metrobank saka mas convenient para sa min si BPI kaya un ang ginagamit namin.

Sis ganyan din gawain ko, pay after due date but before cut off pero wala finance charge, as in every month, kasi may mga officemates ako hinihintay ko pa bayad nila e minsan due ko 15th, sweldo namin 15th ng gabi so nakakabayad sila 16th pa.

I received my cc yesterday. Ang bilis napadala agad. Medyo nagulat lang ako ang taas ng CL na binigay eh maliit lang income ko.

^true!! Pero stick na ako sa plan ko na sa tuition lang ng kapatid ko gagamitin si bpi tapos si bdo yung for groceries and shopping. Para iwas utang!

Ako rin, twice na nangyari  na nagbayad ako sa bpi after the due date (but nabayaran ko right before the next billing) pero buti na lang no charge. Pero bihira lang talaga, as in yung two times na yun in a span of eight years na yun hehe. Kahit alam ko na hindi ako na-charge, parang ayoko pa rin isipin na ganun lagi mangyayari.

On the other hand, sa citibank naman before nagkacharge na ako once, two days late yung payment.

^ yes sis. Nag kaka charge lang sya pag late payment or totally di mo nabayaran yung bill mo. If di mo sya ginamit then no worries. Wala kang babayaran. 😉

hi mga sis. ask ko lang with regards to waving ng annual fee. kailangan ba makita muna yung charge ng annual fee saka ask yung bank to waive? or ask to waive na agad yung annual fee bago pa lumabas?

^ usually dapat mag reflect muna sa bill mo yung annual fee bago mo mapa waive. May ibang banks, need mo bayaran muna then sa next bill saka nila babalik sayo.

^ thank you sis. need pala gamitin para ma waive. natapos ko na kasi bayaran lahat ng utang ko e di ko na nagamit pa ulit. salamat sis!

Hi sisses! First time CC user here.

I applied for a BDO Credit Card last year and didn't choose a specific card since I'm not really sure what type of card suites me. Fast forward, around end of January, I received 2 credit cards from BDO, one is Amex Blue, the other one is BDO ShopMore.

Do you think that I need to close the other one?
