okay deadma na ako sa cards ng EW. hehe. sad ako sa BPI now, they're not waiving my AF unless i get an extension. wala naman ako maisipan mapagbigyan. but they increased my CL again naman. wala din masyado promos sa bpi this 2016. kakasawa na jollibee.

so far happy ako sa citi kasi free for life af ako. sobrang gamit na gamit ko sya because of the points. and daming resto promos na gusto ko.

i want to get a bdo cc but wala ako savings sa kanila. is it easy ba? last time i recall sa counter ng SM ako naofferan. sabi saken no need to pass docus and all kasi may existing cc naman ako. kaya lang a few days later nag ask ng docus yung CSR nila. nawala na lang sya sa isip ko and wala din naman ako time to secure and submit those docus just for a cc.

sa ibang stores lang kasi they allow longer installments pag bdo. so i want one. mahirap ba kumuha? ayoko na magpass ng docus. hassle.

Napilitan ako bigyan ng extension mama ko dahil sa amf waiver ko this year hehe.

Pinatagal ko lang na may 50K na laman and then voila Dual Gold pinadala sakin. After a few yrs nagtry rin ako ulit mag apply (Forever 21 card, Shopmore card) sa mga SM pero declined ako hehe. Di rin ako uubra sa docs since work at home ako.

HSBC, SECB and BDO okay din magpa-waive. Minsan nagrerequire lang sila ng minimum amount to purchase. Citibank ko free for life daw, emphasis on daw kasi wala pa 1 year to. Hahaha..

I have a MasterCard and a Visa with HSBC. I have my MasterCard for 6 years na ata. Lagi naman waived ang AF but may conditions. Usually, you need to spend at least 5k or mag loan, etc. There was one time lang na half lang ang winave. Then, yung Visa ko bago lang. They texted me kasi na pre-qualified daw ako for a Visa. Sakto, they have a promo na free American Tourister luggage for new Visa cc application.

Recently, may nagoffer ng Citibank Rewards na free AF for life. Dati kasi di ako na-aaprove because of our address. Banned lahat ng taga Baranggay namin dati (it was confirmed by my neighbor who worked sa Citibank.

Maaalert ka agad if ever may fraudulent transactions. Sa Citibank kasi wala.

Side story: My husband's Metrobank cc was compromised recently. at 4 AM nagising sya and nagulat na nagtext sa kanya si metrobank ng OTP (one time PIN) for an online transaction for 19k at 1 AM! Tinawagan nya Metrobank and they confirmed na someone tried to use his card 2x that day! First is nagpabook sa CebuPac (worth 17K) and 2nd is yug 19k na hindi nila madetermine yung merchant, Kalerks lang! My husband only use his cc sa gasoline station and recently nag order sa Lazada. Ang nakakainis sa Metrobank, kahit nagreport na ng fraudulent transaction, they will charge 400 to block the account and replace the card. Edi wow!

^ Ang bad ng Metrobank ah. My husband had an experience 2 months ago with his Citibank naman. From Brazil yung transaction, tinawagan sya ng Citi. After their phone convo, binlock yung card, and wala na syang pinroblema kahit may 2 nakapasok na transaction sila na nag-ayos and credited back yung amount.

^^same tayo sis.

So dali dali kami nagdeclare ng lost card last week.

Today idineliver yung free travel voucher from Unionbank.

^ 1 year sis, pero technically for the 2nd year na annual fee sya. Ang waived ay yung pinaka una (upon using the card). Eventually ako nag give in hehe.

^ kahit 17k ang laki. Sa BDO ko before parang 3k lang.

Planning to get BPI.

Baka pag sobrang sulit yun rebates malaki jeed ipurchase.

Since locked na yung last thread, wala nako mapag post-an ng concerns ko  ;)

Kasi wala ako ITR dahil Work from Home ako. Meron ako COE with details ng salary. And also proof of income via PayPal. Nag submit nako sa BPI and EastWest.

Or is it a bad idea? Sorry sissies first time ko kasi mag aapply for a credit card. Wala talaga ko idea..

Anyone na work from home din pero naapprove naman for CC? :)

I suggest you apply for a Secured Credit Card. Then, once you build your good credit history, after a year you can ask them to convert your SCC to a regular credit card. After that it will be easy na for you to apply for other credit cards. :)
