Over the last two months bumibili ako ng index funds at 7400-7600, akala ko mababa na. Ngayon 7000 na lang 

Wait muna ako baka bumaba pa.

May wisdom talaga yung "don't put money that you might need in the short term into equities."

^ako sis newbie palang. 1 year palang sa market and Investor ako now. Takot pa ako sumabak sa trading kasi feeling ko hindi pa enough ang knowledge ko but I am really trying to learn.

For now, my goal is for long term. As in Loooooong term mga 10 years or more. For our child's future education and retirement fund.

I want to try trading just in case umuwi na kami for good. We're sure kasi na wala na kaming mahahanap na work sa pinas when we get back because of our age.

Frustration wala dahil fault mo ang portfolio mo. Struggle I think No.1 struggle emotion when to buy and sell as trader and even as investors what stocks to buy for long term. Mamili ka rin sino ang pakikinggan mong guru guruhan sa mga reco at tips. If it works for you then fine if lagi kang sunog sa sinasabi niya stop it. Basta dapat continuous learning at practice lalo if like mo try trading.

Definitely. But please be cautious lang.  I was brave enough that I bought them at a high price before, eh di lalong mas malakas dapat ang loob ko ngayon.   Bought AC and JFC, yun na lang muna.

For long term investments (5-20 years), yes .. and index funds > individual stocks if in doubt or medyo clueless sa projection.

Definitely yes, but please buy only if you have extra cash and your savings are still intact.

^True.  Before jumping in investments esp trading, make sure may 6 months EF na or a stable/demanding job and health insurance .. cos you don't want to pull-out your fund/stock money prematurely, malulugi lang in the long run.
