Wala talaga ako alam sa ganitong  investment.
Need ko talaga aralin ito pero nalilito talaga ako.

Ex-dividend date = I should have the stocks by this date

Sis by investopedia definition:
Ex-dividend: A classification of trading shares when a declared dividend belongs to the seller rather than the buyer. A stock will be given ex-dividend status if a person has been confirmed by the company to receive the dividend payment.

Record date:
The record date is the cut-off date established by a company in order to determine which shareholders are eligible to receive a dividend or distribution

The PSEI is on a short term downtrend.  People started taking some profits when the index touched the 7400 level on March 21 and this resulted into more selling pressure which drove the PSEI down.

what do you mean by basura stocks? mga small time companies ba yan? Do you buy today and sold the stocks in a few days?

Grabe and NOW.. Really tempted but by gut feeling says NO. Baka pagkatapos ng election, baka magdive.. So far naman.. Ang EDC lang nakapula.. mag iisang taon na, di pa rin nakabawi. LOL! Securing profits before election.
