Since first time kong subukan ang Korean skin care, ok ba muna ang ganitong routine mga sis:

Morning:

- Good Morning cleanser (nag-reply saken si skincurator and sabi nya di na daw kelangan ng toner kung eto ang facial wash na gagamitin ko)
- OST Vitamin C20 Serum
- COSRX Galactomyces essence
- Snail moisturizer
- Biore sunscreen

Evening:

- Skinfood Black Sugar Cleansing Oil
- Good Morning cleanser
- COSRX BHA Blackhead Power Liquid
- COSRX AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid
- sleeping pack

^re the morning routine, COSRX muna bago ang OST (there have been some debate about using niacinamide and vit C together, so to be sure, wait 30 minutes in between). The evening routine, hindi moisturizer ang Benton Essence. Rule of thumb is you put the thinnest consistency first.

^^if you don't have time to wait 30 minutes between OST and COSRX, pwede namang ilipat ang COSRX sa evening sis, after your acids. Make sure to wait at least 30 minutes before applying COSRX though (I do 40+ minutes para sure, pero I think okay na rin ang 30). :D

Vit c day - hadalabo foaming cleanser (will switch to cerave foaming cleanser pag naubos), wait 30mins, klairs vit c, wait, cosrx snail essence, innisfree orchid cream

Acids day - wash, wait, bha (cotton pads), wait, aha (cotton pads), snail essence, dynasty cream or water sleeping pack

Normal night routine - wash, missha fte, hadalabo red lotion, missha time revolution ampoule, snail essence, eye cream, dynasty cream

Before makeup - wash, missha fte, hadalabo blue lotion, skin miso pore corset, snail essence, innisfree orchid cream

Pag nag sale sa skincurator gusto ko yung galactomyces essence at ljh tea tree essence. San ko iaadd yun?

^Galactomyces Essence:

Vit C day - before snail essence
Acids day - before snail essence again, but with wait time
Normal night routine/before makeup - sis, same lang ang function ng COSRX Galactomyces Essence at Missha FTE, pareho silang FTE :D)

LJH Tea Tree Essence: haven't used this, pero siguro mauuna kung alin ang thinner ang consistency vs. the snail essence.

^hehe ah talaga pareho ba sila?

Any suggestions?

:) Both have brightening properties because of niacinamide.

How about letting your mom try your dynasty cream?

^^pasubukan mo mother mo ng oil like olive, argan, rosehip, etc. to be added to her regimen for hydration to get dewy skin. Kung Sulwhasoo Time Treasure line gamit niya, let her try the concentrated Ginseng Eye Cream. I've been using it for years, so far hindi naman dumadami wrinkles at rest, and works for me still compared sa nasubukan ko na noon from Whoo and Sum37. Mizon looks good, its owned by people who used to work with Amore Pacific's R&D team. Althea has Skin&Lab Vitamin creams, your mom can try them. Sis-in-law ko who is 48 and has sensitive skin loves their Vitamin E cream.

^suggestion ko lang is to move the COSRX Galactomyces Essence to your evening routine, with a wait time of at least 30 minutes after your acids. :)

Benton isn't labeled as a moisturizer, but there are many types naman. If you think it's enough for your skin, then okay na. Ano ba ang pakiramdam mo, sis? Maybe you can use your snail moisturizer after Benton.

My skin is on the oily side, and I use Celeteque/MIZON. I have the Innisfree Green Tea Fresh Cream, A'PIEU Snail Cream, and Blossom Jeju Pink Camellia Soombi Blooming Cream in my stash, itetest ko pa. x)

Evening:

Oily T-zone ako sis and dry cheeks and chin.  Tingin mo try ko muna yung snail moisturizer then see kung hiyang?

^yes, sis. :) If okay naman ang skin mo sa snail moisturizer mo (no breakouts, allergic reactions, etc), I think wala namang kaso na i-move gamitin mo rin siya sa gabi.

Since you have an oily t-zone, baka pwedeng gamitin mo na lang 'yung sleeping pack only on the cheeks and chin. hth!

Any suggestion sa rosehip oil? Yung jojoba trader joes yung ginagamit nila.

I can PM you if you like.

I don't use rosehip oil, pero meron sa:
HHN - 750php for 15ml
Trilogy (NZ brand, available at Wellness Connect, SM North) - 1800 to 2300php for 20-45ml

I think 'yung dynasty cream, pwede siya for acne-prone skin pero not specifically for acne-prone skin. Like for most products, depende pa rin sa reaction ng balat mo (your mileage may vary). :)

Hi, just my two cents:

I recommend that you use a pH-adjusting toner before using your actives (Vit C, BHA, AHA). The toner works by adjusting your pH level to a respectable level that the actives can fully work on. If you don't use a toner, the active will then do a double duty: bring your pH level down and then doing its thing. So it wouldn't be as effective.

Also ease into BHA and AHA. Like once a week first, then twice a week, then every other day. At this point, it would also probably be better if you use them every other day (BHA on Day 1, AHA on Day 2, BHA on Day 3 etc). Baka kasi mabigla skin mo and magpurge siya or worse, you'd get an allergic reaction  :)

I personally don't use pH-adjusting toners kasi it's an added product and step. xD I just wait around 20 minutes after my cleanser and before my actives (nagiging 10 minutes na lang pagdating sa vitamin C sa umaga, haha).

-----

There are those who don't believe in using pH-adjusting toners and those who do, so choose your camp na lang. :D

^Thanks for the input, sis!

Any recos for the toner? Is this true?

Also, re use of BHA and AHA, so gawin ko is BHA muna once a week, then following week AHA naman once a week, then maybe after a month (?) gawin ko ng every other day alternate both?
