Hi! Are these places doable for 1-day tour? Will be coming from Osaka.
- Arashiyama
- Fushimi Inari Shrine
- Higashiyama District, Kiyomizu Dera
- Gion District

Arashiyama is a bit far and deserves at least half a day already! Hehe. But the other 3 I think doable.

This will be our whole trip itinerary.  WIll travel with my husband and son 13 y.o. who for sure will not enjoy much with temples.  Will stay in Namba.

Tama ba yung pag-group? and anong rail pass dapat namin kunin- ICOCA / JR pass ??

Day 1
-  Arrival (8:00PM) - KIX

Day 2
-  Cup noodles museum
-  Osaka aquarium
-  Kuromon Market

Day 3
- USJ

Day 4 - (IS THIS DOABLE??)
-  Nara Deer Park / Todaji Temple (morning)
-  Arashiyama Bamboo Grove (afternoon)

Day 5 - (IS THIS DOABLE??)
-  Fushimi Inari Shrine
-  Higashiyama District, Kiyomizu Dera
-  Gion District
-  Dotonbori

Day 6
-  Osaka castle
-  Museum of House and Living
-  Departure (8:45 pm)

Hi mga sis, ask ko lang, if yung travel dates to Japan is from last week of November to first week of December, mga October ba safe na para kumuha ng visa?? I have a multiple entry visa to South Korea so mejo confident naman ako na maapprove visa ko sa Japan, but, 3 mos ba validity ng first visa to Japan??

90 days upon issuance sis, tapos 15 days stay pag Single entry.
Our travel dates will be in October, so mag-apply kami this month of August.

So kung last day mo sa Japan ay first week of December, bilang ka lang backwards ng 90 days. Lagay ka lang ng konting buffer. So baka mga mid-September?

Mommies where did you stay po in osaka? May nakastay na po sa hotel chuo oasis? This would be our first family trip with our 1 year old baby. Ok kaya kay baby jan?

For those who stayed at Kyoto, where did you choose to stay?

- near the station (Kyoto Station?) OR
- near the city center (castle area, gion etc.)

^we stayed near the station pero hindi nga super near sis (Kyoto Tokyu) but meron silang free shuttle to and from the station. Love everything in this hotel

^^^Sis, if I'm not mistaken sa Nishinari Ward 'yan. Most travelers would advise against staying in the area. But as long as di naman kayo gagabihin or anything, should be okay. Pero 'yan kasi 'yung "slums" ng Osaka. Ako naman I stayed in the same area (airbnb) pero with my bf so okay lang, but I wouldn't stay there alone. Hehe.

Will be traveling to Osaka! Shorter trip, should have been 9 days pero nagkaroon ng major event sa work scheduled somewhere in the middle of 9 days and have to cut it short. Huhu.

3 full days na lang ako, which is okay because I've been there before naman. Excited to see Kobe and Himeji; contemplating whether I should also do a Hiroshima-Miyajima daytrip. Anyone who tried that na?

Are you going Solo? Went there 2015 and got Express Pass 4 -- I was able to get into the rides even if I didn't use any of the express pass. Pagkapasok ko, even if I do have the express pass, I ran to get another timed ticket for Harry Potter-thinking that if I missed the specified timed ticket for my HP, I can enter naman using my other timed ticket. Tapos I rode all the rides on the list. Nanghinayang tuloy ako why I bought the pass pa =)) But to each her own.

Anyway, definitely Jurassic (but not a big fan), Backdrop and Hollywood Dream. Rode 4x Hollywood Dream/Backdrop. You can change the background music while on the ride (Hollywood Dream/Backdrop) pala.

I know we are too early for Cherry Blossoms but I still want to ask if there's a remote chance na merong trees na nagsisimula na mag-flower that time? In your experience, sang city nauuna mag-bloom ang Sakura trees? We will be in Tokyo March 7-10, 10-13 in Kyoto, then back in Tokyo from 13-17.

Mas nauuna ang Tokyo sa Osaka. This year, dumating kami sa Tokyo around March 25. Peak na yun.

may question po ako. 1st time po kasi namin magjapan ni hubby and wala kami kakilala dun. nakakuha kami ng ticket for 14k roundtrip, and for 2 na, pero september 2019 pa ang alis.

need ba talaga ng JR PASS? may mga single journey tickets naman ang train di ba? di naman kasi kami bullet train

day 4 explore kyoto (then sa gabi, mag night BUS kami to fukuoka, 8hours daw yun, so we sleep sa bus, then am na dating fukuoka)
