Hi Sis! Will be going there on the 1st week of November, Malamig na na and fesible bag pumunta pa sa Tokyo. We will be staying in Japan for 7 days.

Going back to Japan and we have 2 days in Osaka and 2 days in Kyoto. Sad to find out that Kiyomizu-dera is under maintenance and the main hall will be completely covered, not sure if it's going to be worth the visit. Found an airbnb apartment 3 mins from Kyoto station so getting around will be pretty easy.

Kyoto - 2 days
-Fushimi Inara
-Golden Pavillion
-Arashiyama - what else is worth seeing aside from the bamboo grove?
-What else should we do?

Osaka - 2 days
-Aquarium
-Osaka Castle
-Dotonburi (nighttime)
-What else is there to do in Osaka?

HI. Will be leaving end of October. Soon excited na. Will be spending 1 night in Kyoto. Can anyone pls suggest what places in Kyoto we shouldn't miss na Hindi na man ganon ka layo yung distance. And what is the best train/bus pass to get since we will be in going to Osaka, Nara Park and Kyoto.  Thank you very much

^  Sis, go to Fushimi Inari Shrine. One bus lang siya from Kyoto Station.

For the pass, I suggest Kansai Thru Pass. Sakop niyan ang Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe at Nara.

Hi mga sis! I have an upcoming trip to Japan this Nov 12 bali total of 10days kami dun Osaka-Nara/Kobe-Kyoto-Fujiyoshida-Tokyo.

Ano po mga brands ang mas mura bilhin dun kesa dito sa atin? Naiisip ko kasi dun nalang bumili ng ibang damit na isusuot ko dun.

And may nakatry na po ba sa inyo sumakay ng overnight bus from Kansai Area going to Mt. Fuji? How was the experience po.

Hello guys, im planning my trip soon. Though I have been to Osaka na pero dalaga pa ako noon kaya wala ako matandaan masyado. Now I have my husband and my son with me I need advise. My son is a 13 years old boy in 5'11 so considered adult na siya kaya 3 adults kami.

Questions:
1. When is the best time to book our flight? Autumn season ba is November po? May araw ng patay rin ba sa Japan? baka pwede isabay sa sem break ng bagets. tee hee!

2. Doable po ba na MNL-KANSAI tapos mag Ttokyo kami? If mag Ttokyo naman po kami anong option rides namin pa Tokyo? Tapos from Tokyo Narita-mnl na kami.

3. If mag eexplore kami sa Okasa, Kyoto, USJ and saan pa ba pwede puntahan? We like food & slight temple. Gusto ko mag kimono ahihi, ilan araw ang exploration namin?

4. Sa mga nag jetstar po, ano pong pwede niyong iwan tip hehe first time ko mag bbook ng jetstar.

5. Pa recommend po ako ng AirBnB niyo.

6. Kung hindi niyo rin po mamasamain. Pahelp ako sa itinerary.

Para mas ma-enjoy niyo, avoid summer season sa Japan. I think this is from June to September, not sure. Pumunta kami sa Tokyo nung July 2015, ang init talaga. Kahit sanay naman tayo sa init, siyempre mas enjoy pa rin kung hindi mainit.

2. Doable po ba na MNL-KANSAI tapos mag Ttokyo kami? If mag Ttokyo naman po kami anong option rides namin pa Tokyo? Tapos from Tokyo Narita-mnl na kami.

Kaya naman, aayusin lang ang itinerary based sa mga gusto niyo puntahan kung wala naman kayo limit kung gaano katagal ang bakasyon. Pero kung 1 week lang, personally I would prefer na longer, pero ayun up to you pa rin. If like Disney lang and USJ ang gusto niyo puntahan then onting temples, baka kaya naman.

3. If mag eexplore kami sa Okasa, Kyoto, USJ and saan pa ba pwede puntahan? We like food & slight temple. Gusto ko mag kimono ahihi, ilan araw ang exploration namin?

Hanap ka muna sis ng mga temples na gusto mo puntahan, sa Kyoto marami pati shrines. Most famous: Fushimi Inari (red torii gates), Kiyomizudera, then a bit farther from Central Kyoto is Arashiyama (which has the bamboo forest, pero magandang area din siya that you can devote one or half a day to). Then you can make your sched or itinerary based on what you'd like to see. Same goes for Osaka. Aside from USJ, ano pa ba balak niyo gawin? Osaka Castle definitely, maybe Dotonbori for food, pero what else?

You can backread to check previous travelers' itineraries but it all boils down to what you want to see din.

Peak season ng Autumn season sa Kansai area ay mid November until 1st week of December if gusto mo talaga ng autumn foliage.. ok din ang weather na nag-range from 13 to 18 degrees

If less than 7 days, better na magfocus na lang kayo sa 1 region like if Kansai (Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Kobe)... pero kaya naman ang gusto mo na MLA-KANSAI NARITA-MLA pero parang medyo magastos dahil either mag-overnight bus kayo o shinkansen from Osaka to Tokyo..

If cebpac ang airline nio, gabi na kayo makakarating ng Osaka so ang Day 1 nio ay kinabukasan na.
2 days sa Kyoto depende sa gusto ninyong puntahan pero nirerecommend ko na i-visit ninyo ang Arashiyama, hindi lang dahil sa bamboo groves pero marami kasing lugar na pwedeng puntahan doon.. for the kids, Toei Kyoto Studio Park para hindi puro gardens at temple

daytrip din kayo sa Nara para sa deer park..

For the food: Dotonbori at Kuromon Market sa Osaka then Nishiki market at Gion area naman sa Kyoto

4. Ay jetstar pala, ang alam ko lang mahigpit sila sa baggage allowance pati sa hand-carry mo

5. Magplan muna kayo ng mga gustong puntahan then from there makakagawa na ng itinerary.. meron ding mga suggested itineraries dito sa forum.

Where do you get Kansai thru Pass? Sold out sa Klook eh. They had issue daw with the vendor.

For just one day in Kyoto, ano ang dapat lang puntahan na temple and shrine? I'm more of a 'makita lang alis na' traveller when it comes to anything historical or natural when it comes to sights.

^is it your first time? Most iconic in Kyoto for me is the Fushimi Inari Shrine, then immediately head to Higashiyama ward (you can visit Kiyomizudera as well it's in the same area) for mochi tasting and pasalubong, then have some matcha - look for an alley somewhere on the Higashiyama street. Hindi masyado pagod pag ganyan lang. Okay din ang Golden Pavilion but more pleasing sa eyes ang Fushimi Inari.
