Mahilig ba kayo sa theme parks? If yes, set a day for USJ alone tapos mag-umeda or namba (dotonbori) na lang kayo for Dinner. Kyoto naman set kayo ng 2-3 days.

Another question... Should I stay longer in Kyoto or Osaka? We are staying a total of 5 days. I'm not that into temples. I think mas mag enjoy ako sa food and shopping although I want to tour naman rin some historic sites. Other than this, must visit places for me are: Osaka aquarium, monkey park, and nara deer park particularly for my  daughter.

Day 2 Kyoto
Day 3 Kyoto/Nara
Day 4 Osaka
Day 5 Osaka departure 12nn

If you are not really into temples or shrines and more into food or shopping, then stay longer in Osaka.

Stay in Osaka na lang preferably near umeda or namba station. Namba station is near Dotonbori (Food/Shopping) and Shinsaibashi (Shopping). Bumili ka na lang ng kansai thru pass sa klook.com. You could use it for trains (except JR lines), subways and buses in Osaka, Kyoto and Nara area.

For our trip next month, my sister and I are not into temples and nature that we decided to stay two nights in Kobe. Considered din namin ang Nara para lang makita maski paano but we're with my sister's 2 year old daughter and ayaw lang namin na mag-risk makagat ng mga deers na slightly aggressive sa pagkain.

^grabe, medyo nakakatakot nga mga deer. dinadamba nila yong food saka pag may bag ka kakagatin nila & hihilahin. medyo na-stress ako sa kanila. saka yong todaiji temple under renovation so hindi na kami pumasok. masarap yong mochi don, sobrang tamis ng strawberry

^nakaakatakot nga, may dalang plastic husband ko kinakain ba naman. tapos yung bag nya nilick ng deer haha! Ako naman kumakain ng cremia ice cream sa shop mismo biglang lumapit yung deer nakita kasi nakapatong don sa table yung food nila ginagrab nya

^, ^^ ganda nga sana puntahan ng Nara kasi hindi masyadong malalayo distances between the sights unlike Kyoto. Kung puwede nga lang sana na maiiwasan sana mga deers na mag-bus kami from the station to the temple pero nandun din pala sila sa loob ng temple.

Kaya nga I opted not to feed them with the biscuits. Nakakita kasi ako ng bata na hinatak yung buhok niya ng deer tapos sinipa. Nangangagat din sila ng plastic bag and bag. Hahaha. Scary.

Lesson learned: Book a hotel early!  Like I still didn't know that by this time. HUHU.
I kept procrastinating and trying to find a best one in terms of location and other personal preferences. Thinking rates would go down pa also. Only ended up paying for more and not in my preferred location. Plus, I ended up in three different hotels due to date availability. Meaning I will need to checkin in and check out several times. Oh well! Next time! Peak season rin kasi.

^baka mas mauna ka pa sa akin, I'll be there in 3 weeks and staying at Hotel Monterey so I'll ask you for a review. :-)

Preference ko was Granvia kasi nasa Osaka station but my sister wants to be in Namba and Monterey was on sale but too late when I'd already booked as no cancellation is allowed. Monterey pala about a 10 minute walk to Dotonbori (the website says 5 minutes, maybe if you're Japanese and you don't have kids with you).

Hi mga sis, anyone can suggest an affordable airbnb or hotel that accepts guests early morning? Kasi i'm planning to book sa jetstar because of the cheap fare pero mostly midnight ang departure from manila tapos early morning arrival sa osaka, around 6am. Please sissies any suggestion would help😊 Sana yung malapit sa mga stations TIA

^Jetstar din kami last punta namin. I think walang pumapayag ng early check in? kaya ginawa namin binook din namin yung isang araw before kami dumating kaya pag dating namin ng 7am sa airbnb nakatulog pa kami

^yaay finally nakapag gt na ko! Haha! Thanx sis sa reply. Onga nabasa ko nga din you have go book ng 1 day advance sa arrival date mo. Pero luckily nakahanap ako ng morning flight kaya di na siguro mag book ng extra.

Sa mga nakapag shopping sa donki or don quijote sa osaka, worth it ba? And cheap ba talaga mga sis? Balak ko kasi dyan na lang ako bumili ng mga pasalubong. Or sa mga daiso na lang?

Lastly, sa one day tour namin sa kyoto balak namin balikan lang to osaka. What time ba yung earliest sa regular train (the cheaper one) not the shinkansen and the last trip? TIA!

^Tnx sis shygirlme! madami bang branch ng donki sa namba or nag iisa lang siya dun? kasi may nabasa ako online na may isang branch daw don na chinese ata ang mga cashier and they are not very nice daw sa tourists tapos they will change the price pag magbabayad ka na and if tax free daw hindi mo na makikita kung ano nilalagay nila sa shopping bag mo, minsan daw madaming binabawas ng hindi alam ng customer. sana naman hindi ko ma experience yan hehe.
