sa mga pupunta ng nara, advise ko lang if commute kayo from nara station going to nara park take a JR BUS color red kasi 100jpy/way lang ang fare going to nara park unlike sa regular bus 210jpy/way.. been there last June 2016, DIY lang, my expense for manila-tokyo-kyoto-nara-osaka-himeji-osaka-manila is P15,020 wihout food.

try also the oshio ramen beside the Yasaka Shrine in Kyoto, if your facing the Yasaka shrin nasa right siya..big servings and mura lang

Has anyone traveled to Osaka with an infant? Which places to go to and avoid? And which hotels are best for babies eg. Clean? Plus a view from the hotel window with cherry blossoms

Hi mga sisses! We'll have a 3 days stay sa Kyoto, saang area ba magandang mag stay? Iyong accessible sa tourists spots or accessible to train / bus stations going to the tourists spots.

By the way, from Kansai Airport going to Namba , anong train ang dapat sakyan ? How long will be the trip and anong time ang last trip? We will be arriving Kansai at 8 pm

^Nankai Railway sis. Rapit train if yung mas mabilis. Then may slower by a few mins lang na train.

hi! already booked accom, and airfare. also contemplating to get jrpass din. we are planning osaka-kyoto-narra-tokyo will be our departure.  sulit na the jr pass sa iti kaya namin?

kasya na kaya yung 50-60k pocket money for 2? expenses nalang namin nalang will be food, entrance fees other trains and maybe a little to no shopping lol. it will be a 7 days trip pala.

any suggestions pls

Thank you sis damonsgirl. We initially plan na derecho sana Kyoto, pero alanganin oras eh. Kaya nag book na lang kami sa Namba area.

^^ better check na lang magkano gagastusin if hindi JR pass. Sa Tokyo kasi parang bihira magagamit ang JR? 50k php ang budget namin for 2 people 7 days din, pero Kansai region lang.

2nd time namin sa Osaka. Pero this time mag tour kami in Kyoto and Nara. San ok mag stay sa Osaka? mag USJ kami uli kaya sa Osaka na namin gusto stay and di hassle magpalipat lipat

Hmmm...for me sulit naman yung JR pass, kasi no need mo na bumili ng ticket at pumila,
may special lane ka pa na ipapakita mo lang JR pass mo para padaanin ka. Our itinerary before
was Tokyo-Osaka-Kyoto-Nagoya naman. Since gagamit ka ng bullet train, worth it na siya for me.
And sakto yung 7 days niyo for a JR pass, yun ang minimum nila eh.

Hello mga sisses . Aside from Shijo area, saan pa po ba magandang area mag stay na malapit lapit sa Kyoto station ? Yun po sanang accessible sa train or bus stations  ( without need na magtaxi pa) at madali makapunta sa mga popular tourist spots ?

Hope you can give suggestions. We prefer airbnb na tuluyan kasi 9 kami lahat. TIA

Sis better look for apartments na lang na near kyoto station mismo or at least 1 station away from kyoto station. Ako I frequently check google maps. We finally settled on an apartment near Higashiyama station. Pag peak period daw (autumn or cherry blossoms season), I've read na it's not advisable to take the bus due to line queues and punuan ang mga bus. Punta kami this November so more on trains ang mode of transpo namin.

Nga pala mga sis, just wanted to ask, how much is the safe budget for each meal?

Soobrang excited nako for the autumn season! We're going late Nov.

Sis shygirlme, magstay kami sa namba area for our Nov trip, malapit sa dotonbori and andaming nakalink na trains and malapit din sa OCAT.

Sis shygirlme, kami sobrang saglit lang! Nov 25-30. Since autumn talaga habol namin more on kyoto talaga itour namin. Though 2 nights kmi sa osaka. Naguguluhan na nga ako ano ano puntahan kasi dami magandang spots for the autumn foliage.
