Day 6 - Noted on the sites we can check out on this day other then Osaka castle. Thanks for the suggestions. I am actually thinking of going to Himeji instead of Osaka castle, so we'll see...

Day 7 - Suggestion noted. We'll alot more time sa Nara Park.

Saan ko pwede isingit ang Kiyomizu-dera, sis, if I'll drop Tofukuji and Tenryu-ji? I included Tofukuji 'cause i read the autumn foliage is nice there.

Sis Meimei, pwede din ba gamitin ang 2 day osaka amazing pass going to rinku town for the outlet shops?  Ang one way kasi from namba to rinku town is 1,000 yen na. Sulit din kaya?

Yes, i think magagamit mo papuntang Rinku. Not sure if magagamit mo sa Nankai Limited Express. Pero sa regular Nankai line i'm quite sure you can use it.

@travelling_daisy, Himeji is the most beautiful castle in Japan.  Sayang nga because we missed it during our last trip. 

I don't know how you can singit Kiyomizu-dera tbh.  I checked and different bus numbers serve the places you want to go.  I'm not very good at timing everything so I don't pack my itineraries full.  Taking a cab (like we did most of the time we were in Kyoto) might be easier and will save you time though it might cost a bit more. For example, we took the bus from Kyoto Station to Ginkakuji for 690 yen (for 2 adults, 2 kids) but it took us 50 minutes.  Dahil sa haba ng ride, I dozed off and missed our stop to the Heian Shrine.    On another day, we took a cab from Kyoto Station again to Heian Shrine (which is along the route of the bus to Ginkakuji) and spent 1,700 yen but it took us only 25 minutes, with traffic pa yan.

^sis marose17: We'll take a look at how we can manage to go around the places we will visit, by bus or by cab. Mas priority ko convenience kasi we are with kids so go lang kahit medyo it will cost a bit more. BTW, did you get the Kyoto Bus Pass?

^ I'm also doing a bit of research re Tokyo and I see your posts in the other thread, sis.  The last time we were in Tokyo, super bitin  kasi and I want to return.  ANA has good deals right now.   Can't get enough of Japan.

^ We booked ANA, sis! Last year pa. Yes, the rates are good, just like their promo now. Not so cheap but since it's not a budget airline, I guess sulit sya.

I am finalizing the itinerary and still looking at a Tokyo Hotel. Yung accommodation pa lang namin sa Osaka ang na-book ko.

We are foregoing other sites for this first trip kase we are likely to return naman for other seasons. So yung iba, sa next visit na lang. that is why, I do not want to cramp the sites to visit in one day kasi mapapagod ang mga bata and pare-pareho kaming di mage-enjoy. It's hard to deal with cranky kids, right? hehe...

So, I might limit it to 1 to 2 sites per day.

Another thing mga sisses.. which japan rail pass should I buy?? we'll arrived at Osaka via Kobe domestic airport (dun kasi ang connecting flight) 2nd day we'll spend it at USJ and on our 3rd night we'll go to Tokyo.

Should we opt for an overnight bus or should we go through sleeper trains..
San ba kame mas makakamura kung mag tatransfer kame ng region baka may restrictions kasi ang mga Train Pass.

We'll tour tokyo on our 4th day assuming we could get enough rest while travelling at night.
Day 5 and 6, we'll spend it on Disneyland and Disney sea

Day 7 we'll probably spend the morning touring and buying pasalubong then 5pm flight to manila..
or we are still considering to spend another day at tokyo then fly back to manila on day 8.

Need feedback please.. TIA

^^mas mura overnight bus.  6 to 8 hours byahe. sa Shinkansen naman meron silang 3 types, the fastest is almost 2 hours only. Mas mahal nga lang.

Around 450usd ang adult then 350 ang child..
Travel dates ko ay oct 29 mnl-osaka, nov 6 tokyo-mnl
Naka block - out sa seat sale sa cebpac at pal ang travel dates namin so I think its the best deal.. after all ANA is a 5star airlines..

Mga sis,  anyone here na nakapag stay na sa namba area? Or other areas na malapit sa mga tourist spots at transpo access..

Do you think uubra ang sneak in sa hotels like CITY PLAZA or RIHGA ROYAL? 3 adults and 1 child kame.. ayoko naman mag stay sa mga 2 or 3 stars hotel baka kasi pseudo motel/love hotels ang mapag stayan namin.. im booking thru agoda.. TIA

^ We stayed at Swissotel right at the center of Namba.  I've seen groups and families of Pinoys in the hotel and I think it's possible to sneak in since they don't really keep track of how many companions you have during check-in.  Medyo busy ang hotel and thus, during prime check-in/check-out periods, maraming tao doon at hindi na mahahalata siguro kung 3 adults kayo.

Word of advice though: the beds at Japanese hotels are small.  For our twin-sharing room, the beds are not even queen-sized, I think double lang siya or slightly larger than a single-sized bed.  Medyo masikip if two adults will share a bed, unless they are really petite.   There's no couch too, at least in the room we booked (Superior).  Two adults, two children below 12 years old kami and the room was just right for us.

Sis marose, allowed yung children to stay in the room with parents sa superior room sa Swissotel? Is it for free or with additional charge? My kids are aged 11 and 9 and I have a tough time looking for hotels that could accommodate us in 1 room. Though I have booked na Fraser Residence Nankai. Okay nga dyan sa Swissotel, mas accessible sa subway.
