Not a fan of Kris pero I don't believe na mababa na ratings ng Kris TV. Eh ano ba naman yung cartoons compare sa isang lifestyle show? Plus marami pang natutulungan na small and big businesses (ex: SM). At hindi rin bibitiwan ng ABS si Kris kasi magaling sya sa marketing. Contrary sa mga nabanggit sa kabilang thread na si Kris ang dumidikit sa mga sikat, teka sino ba ang kilala internationally? For example Kim Chiu? Kilala ba ng mga world leaders si Kim? Syempre mas bigatin naman si Kris kay Kim dba? Kilala si Kris ng mga world leaders kasi nga Aquino sya. Friend nila ang sultan ng Brunei. Sya din ang ni-request ni Mexican president Enrique Nieto nung APEC.

What the other posters meant are the heavy weights in showbiz, not politics. Nobody can question the Aquinos influence in politics but they are a big nobody in showbiz where Kris' world revolves.

I have noticed that too. She tends to befriend/ cling kung sino ang sikat or on top (Aiai, Pokwang, Vice, Anne C, Kim Chiu, Erich, Karla Estrada- whom she calls Queen Mother).

She needs to badly reformat the show. While the show is a big help to Filipino entrepreneurs, promoting businesses and tourist spots, paulit-ulit ang co-hosts and guests. They talk about Kris' life and other trivial stuff which is not entertaining.

She was at her best doing Morning Girls with Korina. May format, talking points and may sense ang guests.

@sis bea: hindi lang naman politics and showbiz ang ibig kong sabihin dito. What I mean is kung halimbawa may tanunging tayo na foreigner kung sino kilala nya, kung si Kris or si Kim (or si Ai-Ai, Erich,etc) for sure ang isasagot nila si Kris dba? Just because nga that she's the daughter of a Phil hero and a former pres and presidential sister of a current president.

^more like conflict of interests; she has been the mouthpiece of her brother using her shows; suwerte niya pa pinabayaan siya ng channel 2 and surprisingly quiet ang media about that. Korina has been criticised before for using her shows to defend her husband but not much criticism for Kris, only in social media.

While I know for a fact your first part is not true (sila yun nakikipag-close kay Kris because befriending her, aka pagsipsip sa shallow self esteem nya, is known to give you free verbal advertisement from her), I agree with your 2nd point. Ang hirap kasi sa show nya, even if naglilibot sya sa mga businesses, if you watch the whole show, she talks more about herself than the business. I am interested in knowing new restaurants or businesses in PH since I don't live there but I can't endure 30 mins of which she has 80% of the airtime about herself. That's why I just look up her vids in YouTube. They post 2-3min clips of each episode which you can just choose the clips to watch to actually just listen to them asking about the business or about a recipe. You can ignore the other clips that has titles like "Kris TV: Kris talks about James Yap". 😅
