Family As A Team
« on: March 11, 2016, 05:42:38 am »
I've known families who are successful in terms of spirituality, relations, finances, etcetera.  Even if they say that they have problems of their own, they seem to work it out in the end.

I just want to know how you guys work as a family.  How do you cope with daily life? How do you work out with problems - on your own or with your partner?

How would you like your family to work as a team?

Kinda like facebook yan you only see what they want you to see. Since nothing is perfect in this world, every family does have their own problems.

I think it has to do with foundation of values that's why families sick together no matter what.
Pano? Open communication, voting decisions, assignment of tasks and the like.

Of course we adopt good practices in our own families though no kids kami.

How to work as a Team

1. Open & Honest Communication All The Time

2. If you disagree, it's okay... Try to come up with something na both of you can agree on.

4. Have Fun Together

3. Pray together

Don't really know what else kasi basta you communicate with each other everything and you are honest sa isa't isa about everything whether good or bad, then lahat naman nadadaan sa mabuting usapan.

And another important thing ---
4. Define The Role of Each Team Member and Make Sure They Do It

Basta each person should be responsible in doing their part in the family (just like any other team dba?) then i think there shouldn't be any problem.

Example (but not limited to these..)
Husband's role - be a good provider, loving & caring husband to wife, supportive father to kids, etc
Wife's role - be a supportive & loving wife to husband, nurturing mother to kids, knows how to manage household well, etc
Children - be respectful & obedient to their parents, always study well and help in doing housechores, etc

Lol i'm sure there are more.....but my point is i noticed kasi the problems start if the members of the team don't know or don't do their roles properly. Husband tambay sa bahay and wife is the provider anak hindi nag-aaral ng mabuti. Not a good team right? Or Because the roles are reversed.
But it can be reversed at napag-usapan ng mag-asawa...which brings back to number 1. Communication. Basta very important yan. Ang haba na pala.

Marriage is always an ongoing process.
Good luck mga sis!
