^^^parang hindi pa pushed to become a law [textspeak!] 100 days maternity leave. Sa company namin 60 days normal and 78 cs pa din ang  maternity leave. Sana maging law na siya before the year ends...

Im 13 weeks pregnant. Last week inayos ko yung sss ko. Self-employed ako. Tinanong ko kung pwede ko bayaran ang july-aug-sept, hindi daw pwede... September lang daw ako mag start mag hulog. Pano kaya yun? May makukuha kaya ako na maternity benefits March ang EDD ko?

question mga sis on SSS:
April 2017 due ko
just started working again in Manila, Sep 2016 start contribution ko.
5 years akong walang hulog sa SSS,OFW. Prior to that may 3 years akong hulog nung nagwowork pa ako sa Manila.
Will I be entitled to SSS benefit? nalilito kasi ako whether 3 months or 6 months contribution dapat prior to the semester of my due date.

Also, should I ask our HR to update SSS of my pregnancy? When I got hired kasi hinde ko pa alam na buntis ako so no notification yet.

Mabuti dumating na sayo, nag-inquire ako sa SSS and they emailes back that it will be available on September or October. I applied nitong June.

Hi just have a question, I am 21 weeks pregnant, I am employed but planning to resign, super fed up na din kasi ako sa work, na ipasa na ng company yung MAT 1 ko infact, nareceive na sya ng sss, my due is feb 1, I am planning to resign this November na sana, hindi kaya ako magkakaproblem sa sss to get my maternity benefit? sa SSS ko na siya direct kukunin right? how will it take kaya? anyone please just need some advise? ^sis after manganak ka nalang mag resign. sayang kasi yung makukuha mo sa sss. sa company namin kasi, kung ano yung sweldo ko, yun ang makukuha ko while on maternity leave. bale dadagdagan ng company namin yung ibibigay ng sss para mapantayan yung monthly salary ko. pag mag resign ako, mababa lang makukuha ko sa sss.

Sis kung eligible ka naman sa maternity benefit, then wala kang magiging problem. Hindi ba iaadvance ng company mo yung benefit mo? Usually kasi pag may mat1 ka na ikocompute na nila yan how much ang magiging benefit mo then they can give it to you kahit di ka pa nanganganak. After mo manganak at magfile ng mat2, saka nila irereimburse sa SSS yung benefit na binigay nila sayo.

If hindi naman nila inadavance, at nagresign ka na, as long as may received copy ka ng mat1 mo, you can file your mat2 sa sss mismo pagkapanganak mo. Since hindi ka na affiliated sa company mo pag nagfile ka ng mat2, you need a certificate of non-advancement from your company para mafile sa sss yung mat2 mo. Tas sss na mag iissue ng check mo.

If decided ka na magresign, make sure na updated ang contribution mo para eligible ka for the benefit,

My pregnant sister was hospitalized last month due to placenta previa in a public/govt. hospital in QC. Her philhealth benefits cover the bills.  Ang worry nya and wala din akong idea is, pag nanganak ba sya (probaby) before the month end magagamit pa din ba nya philhealth nya? Or mababawasan na yung pwedeng icover? thanks in advance.

sino po ang nakaranas ng ganito and [textspeak!] po naging result? gano po kaya katagal?

Just want to share. I've been on bed rest since April and since inubos muna ng company ko yung leaves ko, only then was I able to claim sickness benefits from SSS. So far, I've been approved a total of 60 days and received 28,800 from them.

I'm 34 weeks pregnant this week and I submitted another sickness benefit application for the remaining days of my pregnancy. Sana ma approve ulit.

Normal spontaneous delivery (NSD) in Level 1 hospitals  —  8,000
Normal spontaneous delivery (NSD) Levels 2 to 4 hospitals  —  6,500
Delivery by caesarian section (CS)  —  15,000 — increased to 19,000

sis annasui sa previous pregnancy ko (2014) the company gave me the benefit when I was on my 36th week. ganun naman yata usually sila nagbibigay.. kasi come 37th week pwede na manganak so hindi rin nila masasabi. and sa ATM ko sya pumasok since abono nga ng company.
Yung sa akin nag submit ako last week lang, acepted na rin yung status nya ng MAT-1 ko sa SSS.

Are you employed? If yes, usually iaadvance to ng employer before ka manganak. If voluntary paying ka or self employed, then the benefit will be awarded to you after mo masubmit ang mat2 mo pagkapanganak mo.

Hi mga sis, just found out that I'm 6 weeks pregnant this week. been self-employed since last July but prior to that Ive been working as an employee for the last 5 years. So since July hindi ko na ulit nahulugan SSS ko. Can I go sa SSS offices ba para malaman kung ano ng status ng membership ko with sSS and if ill be able to avail the maternity benefits?
