@pink_sugar you should file a maternity leave as early as you've known that you are pregnant. Dapat nag notify ka sa employer mo na your pregnant atleast 3 months before your due date para mafile nila sa sss yung maternity notification mo and para maadvance nila sayo yung kalahati ng maternity benefit mo one month bago ka manganak.  You should file your MAT 1 to your hr then attach your latest ultrasound and pwede ka mag leave anytime you want its up to you then if you want to have a rest 1 or 2 months before you give birth.

Hi mga sis. I'm an OFW now. when I left my job in the PH stop narin yung pag contribute ko sa SSS.
Now I want to continue since I am pregnant but when I checked online my status is still employed. feeling ko yung sa dati ko pang employer. Hindi tuloy ako mapag pasa ng notification online. Ang message ay It should be my employer to pass the notification. Pano kaya yun? Kapag ba nag bayad ako here, ma rerecognize nila as OFW? Ang alam ko lang pag OFW is you pwede mong bayaran in 1 payment ang contribution mo for 1 year. Magiging eligible pa kaya ako sa maternity benefit kung ngaun lang ulit ako maghuhulog? I'm currently 4 months pregnant na. TIA!

^^na fill out ko na sis yung form ng sss kasama yung utz result nung 8 weeks preggy ata ako. So anytime pwede na ako mag maternity leave pag kabuwanan ko na noh? Late December kasi yung due date ko. Balak ko mag leave na ng mga December 10?

Hi sis. Im an OFW too. Ang ginagawa ko is nagpapabayad ako sa mother ko sa Pinas quarterly as voluntary. medyo mabigat kasi for me bayaran ang isang taon na contributions. Pag OFW kasi, mataas masyado ang minimum nila since alam nga nila na working abroad tayo. Whatever your decision, as long as magbayad ka ng contributions, you need to tick the box in RS5(receipt form) either OFW or voluntary, then mauupdate narin ang status mo.

Im 4 months pregnant too. Kelan ang EDD mo sis? Kung between January - March 2017 ang EDD mo, you only have 3 months nalang to pay para ma avail ang maternity benefit mo. July - August and September. So better pay na sayang din yun.

my EDD is January 13 2017. Ang nabasa ko naman kanina sa sss website kapag daw ofw. You can pay anytime of the year tapos indicate mo dun kung for anong month yung payment mo.  For example kung mag babayad ako ngayon na good for 3 months, pwede ko sabihin na yung bayad na yun ay for the month of Jan - March. ngayon lang ako nalinawan hehe. At yung 6 months highest contribution mo ang icalculate ng SSS para malaman how much yung benefit.  Pero dapat within the semester.

^ yes sis, 6 months highest contributions within the contingency nga. Kaya ang ginawa ko, minaximum kona yung 6 months na sasakupin para maximum benefit makuha ko. January 19 naman ang EDD ko. Minaximum ko yung hulog ko from April -September 2016. Kaya hulugan mo narin sis sayang din yun. Pandagdag sa hospital bill. Sa pinas kasi ako manganganak

Will I still get benefits from PhilHealth/SSS if last contribution ko is December 2015 pa? Havent filed any of those documents na sinasabi nyo baka kasi di naman na ako covered plus due na ako this December 2016, 24 weeks preggy na ako.

Approved na ba yung 90 days na maternity leave? Parang may nabasa ako na article pero di ako sure kasi dito sa company namin 60 days lang.

^^ For SSS, as long as you have at least 3 months contribution from July 2015-June 2016 you're qualified. File for Mat1 na if you have.

For Philhealth, kelangan recent prior to delivery. Some eh 3 months, some eh 6 months prior to delivery na may hulog ka dapat para maka-avail, kaya if I were you I'll pay for this quarter July-Sept and the next, Oct-Dec. Sayang din, 5k deduction for NSD and 19k for CS if sa hospital ka manganganak.

^ Nope, not yet. Though may ibang company na nagi-impose na ng 90 or 100-day ML but discretion na ng employer yun. Di pa siya batas so di pa mandated na lahat ng employers to give 100-day ML.

Thank you sis kymmiiee, naginquire ako Philhealth yesterday and yes I have been told the same thing, need ng atleast three months contribution, recent bago daw manganak. Since Im due December, was advised to pay for July-December nalang which is 1200. Sa SSS nalang kulang ko to check if I do have sufficient contributions. Sayang din kasi pera pa rin yun. Hirap nga lang punta sa offices ngayon, masyado matagtag mga roads samin.

hi mommies, for cs employed moms. nabasa ko kasi sa website ng SSS na for CS, need ng "Caesarean delivery - certified or authenticated copy of duly registered birth certificate and certified true copy of operating room record/surgical memorandum"

Ano yung "certified true copy of operating room record/surgical memorandum" ?

^ You have to request that from the hospital where you gave birth. Tell them you need your Operating Room Record for SSS and alam na nila yan.

Finally nakapagsubmit na rin ako ng MAT2, 3.5 months post partum. 1 month processing daw I just filled out yung bank account details ko para direcho na sa account ko and hindi na check.

Yung certified true copy ng birth certificate yun na ba yung nakuha sa hospital? may nakuha na kasi kami sa hospital 3 weeks pp. yun na ba yun? or kelangan yung galing sa city hall? gano katagal bago niyo nakuha yung inyo?

^sis check mo if may registry number and seal ng city hall yung copy nyo from the hospital. Photocopy lang hihingin sa sss.

^^Ang alam ko sis galing sa civil registry. After 30 days, kinuha ko registry number from hospital then binigay ko yun when I claimed the ctc sa civil registry.

Hello! May balita na ba kayo dun sa extended maternity leave bill na pinupush dati to extend ML from 60 days to 100 days? Last I can find is final reading na sya last January pero wala na balita after nun. Sayang naman, sana ma-approve na para medyo mahaba ang time with baby.

Parang sa ibang company eh 100 days na. Dito sa amin 60 days pa rin.

Hi mga sis, in case hindi pa alam ng iba, you can print out your MDR from the Philhealth website, you just need to register.
It is also updated with your contributions.
