^yung unang file ko sis, hindi nadeclare ng coordinator namin na sick leave wothout pay yung leaves ko kaya nakuha ko salary. Numg naapprove sss, di na binigay ng ofc sakin.

Yung second file, nadeclare na sl without pay kaya may deductions ako. Sabi ng payroll ibibigay na lang nila sakin cheke.

^ I'm sorry but won't you benefit more if you don't get your sick leave if you earn more working?  I was told kc that once you get your pay, make sure that you are not going to work kc hindi pwd that you got your sss benefit and then may salary ka pa.

^ yes sis. Sakin inubos muna ang leave credits ko at inintay na without pay na ako before ako pinafile ng sickness benefit ng employer ko.

@blushberry, hindi ka makakafile ng sss sickness mo kung may sick leave credits ka pa. Once maubos mo na, saka lang ipprocess ng sss yung sss sickness mo.

Sa case ko, hindi kasi strict sa office namin. We can do "work remote" as much as we want. It just so happened na honest ako to declare my leaves and coordinators notify the hr kung with or without pay na ang leave. Nung first sss leaves ko, since galing ako sa 1.5 months na bedrest, hindi kagad nadeclare ng coordinator na yung last few weeks ay without pay na. Kaya buo pa rin salary ko nun

Basta pwede ka lang magfile sss sickness mo kung ubos na sick leave benefits mo. And yes. Hindi pwedeng may sweldo ka na, may sss ka pa. Di ka na nga pumasok, double pay pa? Hehe

Hi girls! I'm not yet pregnant pero actively TTC - here's a quick background: kasi I resigned from my last employer May 2014 pa, after that nag freelance na lang kami ni fiance. Tapos after getting married a few months ago, we decided to work from home na lang full time, and after coming across this thread, I realized malaking tulong pala ang SSS and Philhealth maternity benefits once I conceive

Ang question ko - once we start paying for our SSS contributions uli, di ba automatic changed to voluntary na ang status (from employed), would it be fine if mag pay muna kami sa Bayad Center/Western Union tapos next month pa magpa change to married status sa SSS mismo? Or strict sila doon?

Hi sis I'm new to this thread lapit na kasi due ko, CS ako sa 18th of Aug na sched ko. I just applied Maternity notification thru SSS website, then okay na ba pag ganun? HOw can I claim the money? After giving birth ba? Thanks!!

^^ I think that's okay naman.

^ After giving birth pa. After filing for Mat2, if not employed ka, you have to wait for 2-3 weeks para ma-deliver yung cheque sa address mo or ma-deposit sa bank account mo in case ma-approve na yung maternity benefit claim mo. You have filed your Maternity Notification which is the Mat1, after giving birth provide ka naman ng Mat2 and other requirements like birth cert ni baby, etc. You can check their website or Google andun requirements. Requirements vary whether NSD or CS, separated or voluntary. You can check na lang which category you will fall.

Hi Sis. Much better po kung dumiretso muna kayo sa SSS branch kung saaan sakop yung area nyo. Even untagged na kayo ng previous employer nyo, doesn't mean na automatic change na agad sa voluntary. Hindi maiidentify ng SSS ang status nyo.

^Ay ganun ba sis dec212012? Nako, buti na lang pala we haven't paid yet sa Bayad Center. Thanks sis for the info ha, punta na nga lang kami sa SSS para maasikaso na lahat. Hassle lang kasi yung mga branch dito sa may amin, 5am pa lang may mga nakapila na.

Kung preggy ka sis, may priority lane naman sa sss. Ako nagchange status sabay change membership ako. I dont know about paying sa mga acceptable payment centers nila pero according sa sss once na member na ang nagbayad magiging automatic na voluntary na yung membership kasi pag employer ang nagbibigay may mga posting pang kailangan.

Hi sis, if I'm not mistaken this is the Philhealth form from your employer. Should be duly signed by your employer's coordinator so you can use your philhealth benefits when you get confined in a hospital. Here sa office namin, we just request the form from our Site HR.

Hi! Question lang,  pag naka-ML walang sweldo so wala ding contribution sa SSS?
Ok lang ba yun na may laktaw ang contributions ko o kailangan ko magbayad?

^^ yes mommy much better diretso na kayo sa Sss. Pwede naman magbayad sa mga bayad center kaso hindi mapopost ang payment nyo. Whether you're employed, self employed, OFW or voluntary, need pa rin ipost ang payment.

Baka nakapag update muna sila ng status bago magpayment sa bayad center. Pwede naman magbayad kaso hindi mapopost ang payment.

Mga sis kung mag start pa lang ako this month mag hulog ng SSS meron kaya ako makukuha sa March 2017? 7weeks pregnant pa lang ako and plan ko sana mag voluntary contribution sa sss. TIA

^ hi sis. Kung March 2017 ka manganganak, dapat from October 2015 - September 2016 may hulog ang SSS contributions mo. Not necessarily all, but at least 3 months. Since tapos na ang payment for April-May-June, ang pwede mo nalang bayaran are July-Aug-Sept. Hulugan mo na yan sis. Payo ko imaximum mo na ang contributions mo sa month na yan. Then pwede mo naman babaan ang contribution mo after nyan.

Hi mga mommy's! Ask ko lang po. My due date is sept 21, pero ang naka declare po sa SSS is sept 26 kasi ayun po yung nasa ultrasound. Lagi na po naninigas yung tummy ko and nahihirapan na po ako pumasok sa work dahil po sa lakad ng lakad. Pwede po kaya akong mag request sa OB ko ng med cert and then i-file sa SSS as SL? May makukuha pa po kaya ako or wala po dahil malapit na din po yung due date ko? Salamat po sa sasagot..

Kelan ba dapat mag file ng start ng maternity leave? Solo ako dito sa taguig kasi dito rin ako work. Balak ko sana umuwi sa province namin mga 10 days before ng edc ko. Kasi ayoko naman abutin mag labor dito sa taguig ng mag isa. LOL

@nicewife. yes you can file sss sickness notification to your employer so that you can take advantage of the sickness benefit but you must submit complete requirements kasi iveverify pa ng sss yan. I think pag maternity related hindi nila iaapproved and once 37weeks pregnant ka it is considered as maternity leave na and also they(sss) will grant your sickness notification if naubos mo n ang sick leave credits mo sa company nyo.

Me my due date is Aug 29 and I was hospitalized last june 21 due to my asthma(respiratory infection) and I was able to take advantage of my sss sickness benefit so nasa bahay lang ako pero nakakakuha p rin ako ng allowance from sss. You can talk to your ob asked medical certification and get sss sickness notification form and your ob needs to fill up the form and you need to submit that to your hr para mafile nila sa sss for approval.
