Also contacted Mhec Gado and yes mukhang magaling rin siya, ganda ng portfolio. Nauna lang sumagot kasi si Chinky and gusto ko kasi yung gawa nina Chingky and Ish sa mata. I also like Nini, pero na sold lang talaga ako sa soft smokey nina Ish kasi

Sisses pag may gusto kayo book na agad... Mahirap pala yung may gusto kang supplier tapos biglang naunahan ka. hehe.

BTW how early do you book HMUA for entourage? oa naman kung 1.5 years before mag book na ako

^Hi sis! The earlier the better. Sside from ma price lock mo yung current year rates, some of them will give discounts for early booker or might give freebies. =)

We've booked most of our major suppliers 1.5 years ahead from our wedding date and included and HMUA. So keri lang! hehe! =)

I think I already mentioned in separate forums that I booked Mariah Santos for my HMUA. But sa sobrang excitement lahat ng bridesmaids, SIL and MOHs ko team nya na ang binook ko. Her sister gave me a 500 off per pax for traditional makeup so thats 2k, 1500 na lang. E may mas mura pa pala na 1k or less lang. Anyways, I know naman they can do magic. So ok na rin!

advisable ba na hnd na ako mag pa trial makeup before ko ibook for makeup for my wedding? im thinking of getting different HMUAs for my wedding and prenup for budget reasons.

^ako sis hindi na nagpatrial make-up dun sa binook kong HMUA.
I booked her out of trust na lang hihi. And dahil na din sa feedback ng mga sis natin dito
Pero kung gusto mo talaga itry kung okay sa taste mo yung make-up nila, pede ka naman magpatrial make-up yun nga lang i think may additional fee, kung swerte pwede mo din abangan sa mga fair, alam ko free ang trial make-up dun.

hindi pa namin sure kung mag prenup kami pero kung oo, kukunin ko yung HMUA na binook ko sa para sa wedding para at least makatry na sila ng style na bagay sakin.

Hello sisses I would also like to hear feedbacks from gerly brides. Ang nababasa ko kasing review is her work for bridesmaids/entourage lang. I am thinking of availing her services because of her very affordable rates and looking at her portfolio in fb I think she really has potentials. But I want to read more reviews pa sana. thank you.

@yinandyang - if your HMUA is of good repute, and your happy with his/her work based on the output and reviews, then its okay to not have a trial makeup before booking. Most trials have fees as well. I booked my HMUA based on the reviews and recommendations here (Eds Go) without getting a trial first.  But in the package that I availed, I did get a free trial(which I used for my prenup).   The downside to getting a free trial is you have to wait for their availability. I almost booked a different supplier for my prenup but thank God na din na I didn't. It so happened na Eds was able to accomodate me (I did had to change my original prenup date). Its okay naman to get 2 different suppliers for prenup and wedding.   For me lang, it was better that I  got the same for  prenup and the wedding. The reason for this is meron na kaming camaraderie. Plus, alam na nya yung canvas nya (my face   ).  Alam na nila yung texture ng hair, they can advise you if you need to have extensions, contact lenses, etc, etc. hehe.  I think it also helped that my prenup was 3 days before the wedding kaya fresh pa lahat  hehe. Good luck sis.

Sis mitch2526, try mo din i-check si Kzee (Make Up by Kzee), siya naman kinuha ko for my bridal make-up Very competitive din ang rates niya.

Kinuha ko si Kzee for my pre-nup last month. Gusto ko yung pag make up niya, hindi heavy. Nasunod din niya yung hair peg na sinend ko. Nasa meet up location na siya earlier than our agreed time pa so plus point din yun. Siya din entou HMUA ko sa wedding

eischied_21 and ANJFinally 1500 yung rate na binigay niya sakin for pre nup but for my case it's just 1 look and no retouch. but i think affordable pa din siya for my entou hair and make up naman 1500/head siya. Sis from what i heard she's from bulacan and kahit na we met up somewhere in manila area, ahead of time pa din siya dumating

^sis thank you for the reco! I checked her FB page, and for me okay na okay na sya. Yap sulit yung 1500 kahit 1 look lang. I remembered somewhere hindi ko alam kung dito sa GT ko yun nabasa, kahit daw 1 look lang basta magaling ang MUA keri na. To think na bumyahe pa sila and medyo nag trekking pa kasi parang sa forest sila nag prenup eh. Ang ginawa lang daw nya, pina-updo ang hair nya tapos madaling i lugay after, para yung mga unang shots updo, then 2nd look medyo naka pony then lastly yung nakalugay na sya pero curled hair. Sa look daw change of color nalang ng lipstick. Tipid mode na kasi kami talaga sa pre-nup. =)

^tama ka diyan sis, kung makakatipid tayo sa prenup then better daananin na lang natin sa ibang color ng lipstick din hehe. you can also check with Kzee, alam ko konti lang idagdag mo kapag mag avail ka ng retouch para siya na bahala sayo for the whole day happy preps and good luck on your upcoming pre nup shoot

Ako I booked my HMUA, Eds Go even without a trial kasi natakot ako baka makuha ng iba yung date ko. Nag trial aksi ako with 3 different HMUAs na and walang nakapag pawow kay husband to be.

So ginawa ko, binook ko na siya and then nung nag bridal fair, saka ako nagpatrial.

But with Eds Go, super nagustuhan ni hubby to be yung make up ko. Ako din, ito yung super fave ko na itsura ko na naka make up. I like din kasi na super long lasting nung make up na ginawa nya sa akin. I ahd traditional make up during the initial make up trial (sa bridal fair) and then airbrush naman sa studio make up trial ko.

I posted before dito na nag oxidize yung airbrush make up sa akin nung isang hmua na nagtrial ako before but with Eds Go, hindi. Until now nga ang ganda ng make up. Konting blot lang perfect na ulit. Dami ko din compliments na nakuha kasi after the trial sa studio nya, diretcho kami sa final food tasting sa Passion Cooks and my AE said ganda ko daw. After naman we went to our ninangs and aprub din nila yung make up kaya super happy talaga ako.

Magaling din si Vera, yung gumawa ng hair ko. I love their personality too. Eds and Vera (and all her team) super nice. Like ko din na okay yung mga brands ng make up na gamit ni Eds (Kryolan, Mac, UD, Too Faced, RCMA, etc)
