Hello. I inquired Glow by Gerly just for me, since civil wedding lang naman ang gusto namin but sabi nya rate daw is 5k for hair and make up (air brush). Bakit mas mahal pag isa lang yung mamake-up-an?

Hi ButterProof. Si prettylove asked for an entourage HMUA. Mas mahal siguro sayo 'coz you're availing the bridal make up and not just for the entourage/guest.

I'm eyeing ten franco for my makeup. i like her works kasi, parang kilala ko pa din ang bride after mamakeupan. di ako masyado fan ng todo transformed looks baka pati si fiance di na ako makilala hihi. just waiting for her to reply lang sa rates. i also tried to get the rates of chinky tanjangco kaso wala pa reply din.

mga sis, kayo ba, kanya kanya ng bayad ang mga abay nyo sa makeup? if ganon, then would it be them dapat na magdecide sino makeup artist nila? sa experience ko kasi as abay, may times na ako ang nagbabayad pero ang naiinis ako is if mahal na nga, di naman worth it yung makeup na ginawa sa akin parang maraming times nang nagreregret ako na ako na lang sana kumuha ng sarili ko artist para mas mura and ok pa quality.

I once attended a wedding where I did my own make-up kahit may ento HMUA, ang ayaw ko kasi is yung halos magkakapareha kami ng make-up ng mga ka-ento ko. Ang pinagalaw ko nalang was yung hair ko. There's this one wedding naman na I attended and the bride's request was to just come to the hotel already done with the HMU and again mas prefer ko ito, all because of the above-mentioned reason.

Since ako naman ang ikakasal ganun din nirequest ko sa mga entos ko, they're okay with it naman.  At least they get the liberty to choose their own HMUA. Papuntahin ko nalang sila sa hotel ko for the pictorial. Thus hindi rin magiging crowded sa hotel for the preparation

^thanks, sis, sa suggestion! iconsider ko din to. ang worry ko lang din ay may pagkapasaway kasi sa oras ang mga abay ko kaya i want them all to be there the night before the wedding, gusto ko kasi talaga complete kami sa preps na pictorial. i will get a room for them talaga hehe para di kami masikip sa room. siguro nga mas ok if i ask them isa isa kung ano preferred nila. ayoko din kasi na after may masasabi sila lalo na if sila magsshoulder ng cost but then i am still considering sa budget if kakayanin ko ishoulder cost for their makeup.

Hi sis ButterProof, agree with marbleslice na most probably the reason kaya mas mahal ang rates na binigay ni Gerly is because it's bridal make-up. I think they have different techniques used between entourage and bridal make-up

Sis febbie07, binigay ko sa entourage ang decision to choose whether they will avail the HMUA na nasa hotel or they can find one for themselves.  I will have two team kasi para mabilis din dahil ang dami kong abay. Sila na may sagot sa HMUA payment nila dahil kami na ang sasagot sa gown nila.

Same thought, baka malate sila if galing pa sila sa iba ibang lugar, so what I plan to do is to book a hotel for them  Money is not a problem naman sa ento ko, so i let them choose their own HMUA.

I'm planning to get Nybie Ng, anyone who had her as HMUA during their wedding? how was the experience? And carry lang ba na another look and retouch lang before the reception? kasi that's the only offer she had, wala syang unlimited retouch.  Correct me if I'm wrong, pero based sa binigay nyang package 2nd look and retouch before reception lang.

^miming my cousin got Nybie as her HMUA on her wedding last February. Word of advice lang if you're going to book her.. make sure that the veil is secure when she pins it to your hair (if you will have one). My cousin's Veluz veil flew because of the wind and because it wasn't secured properly just before the doors of the church were opened. She got married in Tagaytay so obviously mahangin dun. Sobrang palpak kasi she already felt that the veil was loose pero her coordinator didn't listen to her..  kaya yun ang one of her disappointments. Nilagay na lang ulit yung veil after her walk down the aisle. I guess both her HMUA and her coordinator were at fault.

^Hi sis! I am a Mhec Gado Dec bride, hindi pa ako makapag bigay ng review eh. Hindi sya gaanong matunog here in GT, pero some of her brides here before, nagbigay naman ng good reviews. Pinaka recent nya si sis Lemoncee, nasa 2016 Bride yung review nya. hehe! I booked her since sya yung booked HMUA ng SIL ng officemate ko before 2014 wedding in Tagaytay. Mas bet ko rin how she made up her brides, and at the same time pumasok sa budget namin. =)

^^Nini bride here.. She's always my choice kahit sa ibang events na ina-attendan ko. She does great makeup and hairstyle, kase she listens to what the clients say and she suggests ano ang pinakabagay na look. Malinis mag-makeup, OC which I like :-) maalaga sa brides/clients and magaan ka-trabaho, hindi ka maintimidate and pro-active sa brides, like she gave beauty preps tips :-)

Nakaattend ako sa isang wedding na si Ten Franco ang hmua. Naaamazed ako sa tyaga at dedication nya sa work:) ang light ng makeup ng bride, ang natural at ang ganda tignan tapos all throughout the ceremony hanggang reception andun sya, unli retouch literal kahit sa picture taking. Nakakatuwa na ganun pa din sya kahands on kahit sobrang dami na nyang clients.
