Hi sis! I am a Mhec Gado bride, pero Q4 of this year pa ang wedding namin eh. As per our exchanged of emails, 1 booking per day lang daw sya. =)

^^sis, april 2017 pa ko, pero kinuha ko na si Ms. Mhec na HMUA ko, kc nagagandahan ako sa portfolio nya and ang pleasant nya lang sa personal.. 

It's good na okay din siya sa personal. 4 months nalang wedding ko na kasi at wala pa ko nahahanap na HMUA ko.. hahaha

^Mhec was the MUA of my office-mates' SIL last 2014, both pre-nup and wedding day. She had good words towards mhec. I booked her kasi na feel ko na sya yung tamang tao for our wedding day. And besides, her portfolio is impressive din naman. Hindi lang siguro gaanong matunog ang name nya here sa GT. Like yung SIL ni office mate, she was once a satisfied Mhec Gado bride, but she's not a member to any wedding forums. Myabe, some of her brides are the same kaya ganun. But yung mga reviews / feedbacks ng former brides, pinopost din ni Mhec sa FB, naka album ata? Not sure though. =)

Happy preps sis! If ever you'll book her, mauuna ka pala sakin. =)

Mine is Makeup by Mary Letim. I got her 20 karat package. Airbrush with retouch/2nd look for reception, groom's grooming, 7 entourage members in traditional makeup, 1 free airbrush makeup and 2 flower girls' makeup. Super sulit na ang magaganda gawa nya. She's a celebrity makeup artist na din and lagi sya HMUA ng mga models.

I don't think I've seen (recent) feedback for Gio Flores (US educated, HD makeup specialist sya!) here, but I finally took the plunge and booked him after a strong recommendation from my coordinator, and finding acquaintances and friends who've had him do their makeup for their wedding (nothing but great things to say about his work and professionalism).

After going through his portfolio, I was sold! I was planning on postponing the MUA for last, maybe after trial makeup, pero sold na talaga ako. Ang galing nya, lahat ng brides looked like the best version of themselves on their special day - so I'm definitely counting on that for mine too!

So if you're still looking for a makeup artist, look him Gio Flores on FB, IG and Google - then decide for yourself.

^^^sis 2014 pa ako bride ni Ms. Nini Marquez :-) before 1 ako sa mga brides na nasa cover photo niya hihi, though iba na kase cover photo niya hindi na ako kasama 

2014 pa ako bride and since I follow her sa IG at fb, I saw how she became really really good in her craft, ang galing and ang linis na niya mag-makeup dati, but now she's really great and her rates are still very reasonable to think experience wise and skills, sobrang galing and mostly pa ng post niyang photos eh hindi edited, madami kaseng artists ang gaganda ng photos sa fb at IG pero sa personal, ang dungis or ang kapal tapos super halata linya sa nose (noseline)  .... though iba iba naman tayo ng gusto, I have always been a fan of Nini, gusto ko kase yong enhanced and glowing lang, ayoko ng overly done

nagpatrial make-up ba kayo? Yes or no? why or why not?

^Yes nag trial ako (with a number of HMUAs), because I want to see if babagay sa akin yung style nila, if tatagal yung make up nila sa akin and to see if I like them as in the person, their work ethic, chattiness, ganun.

Ang ginawa ko kasi, timing ko yung trial kapag may events ako na pupuntahan.. Mga 1-1.5hours lang naman yung gawa nila Ang downside lang ng trial ng trial, shempre dagdag gastos yun unless makakapagtrial ka sa fair, pero may iba kasi dun gusto magbook ka muna sa kanya bago ka nya ipagttrial..

I know of 2 brides na hindi nagpatrial make up kay Madge Lejano. But that's Madge Lejano.

ItsKat, hindi ako nagpatrial sa HMUA ko. Ang mahal kasi ng airbrush trial nya haha. But no regrets, since nakuha naman nya ang peg ko for makeup, and he asked na din beforehand ang skin type ko, etc. Sa hair kasi di ako specific masyado so I said sya na bahala. I only met him personally on the day mismo ng wedding. My HMUA is Georgia Reyes.

hindi ako nagpa trial bago ko sya kinuha. pinaka trial ko na sa HMUA ko is nung prenup. I paid 3500 for airbrush makeup. nagustuhan ko naman kaya di ako nagsisi.
