hi sis @cescilay! medyo confused ako sa part na yan.. minsan kasi nararamdaman ko na parang naninigas yung tyan ko but im not sure if it's contractions or just my baby na nagsstretch haha. nagka-rashes na rin ako, sabi ni OB due to weather. this saturday nya ako i-IE and she'll measure something that can be an indicator if i can do normal delivery daw.

i dont exercise, feeling ko kasi yung pagpasok ko pa lang sa office e exercise na haha! attending to meetings sa 2 different buildings takes so much effort na for me :-) pero ang bigat na talaga, i gained 35lbs all in all from pre-pregnancy weight. cant imagine holding additional 15 kilos in my body right now! sabi ni OB, safe na naman to give birth any time pero she prefers na at 38 weeks, so sana anytime next week na. excited na rin ako makita si baby girl! :-)

Me and hubby will have our whooping cough vaccine this Friday. I will be 31 weeks by then.

I'm struggling at work as well. I'm on my feet straight 8 hours. I still work full time and no plans of reducing my hours til I finish on May 20 (36 weeks and start of my Maternity Leave). Sana kayanin ko coz everyone notices kung gaano ako kapagod. I start early pa so ang hirap din bumangon every morning.

hi, makikisali ako sa usapan nyo. i am officially 38 weeks today. nahihirapan ako matulog ngayon kasi halos mag iisang oras na si baby na super likot at parang may napepress sa may puson ko pero hindi masakit. nag aalala ako sa sobrang kalikutan nya.

natatakot din ako ma- induce pero wala talaga akong any signs of labor pang nararamdaman. nakakainip din maghintay, pero my doctor also told me na for normal delivery kasi ako.

my edd will be april 26, pero sabi ni doc this friday april 15, pag hindi pa ako nanganak, need kong umulit ng BPS and then another test of NST.

How much po ang BPS? 36 weeks 4 days na ko today and sobrang hirap na ko maglakad.

^sis nag BPS ako last week, I paid 1k+ sa Lourdes Hospital in Sta Mesa. Kung tama ang pagkaalala ko, 1160php yata to be exact.

^BPS is biophysical score, ultrasound lang din sya pero may scoring. Ang natandaan ko sa results ko, they scored yung breathing, movement, muscle tone, tsaka amniotic fluid index. Pag normal, each will get 2 points so total ng 8 pts. Pag decreased, 1 point, tapos pag absent, 0. So kung 8/8 ang BPS that means baby is normal :-)

Yung NST naman is non stress test, di pa ko nagganito pero yung pagka explain saken ni OB is parang ECG daw to ni baby. May ikakabit na machine sa tummy ng mommy then imomonitor ang cardiac activity ni baby.

Hi sis! EDD ko May 7 pa pero baka induce ako this Sunday. Maliit kasi si baby for her age. Baka daw hindi na nakakakuha ng nutrients and matured na daw placenta ko. 37 weeks na ako tomorrow so uulit ulit ako ng BPS by saturday. If same result ng kanina, induce na ako ng Sunday.

Hi sisses! Had our primary CS last Sunday. We now have an additional baby boy in our family. Ü
I had low normal amniotic fluid sa bps last saturday so we decided to go with CS baka matuyuan pa si baby. Since bigla siya naging 2.7kgs (thank u moriamin).
Since ripe na din siya to go and wala naman plano bumuka cervix ko (still closed). We went ahead and walang regrets! ^_^
Still nursing post op pain. Pero manageable.

Re:NST
Yung movement ni baby is graphed against contractions ni mommy. So dapat malikot. Mataas ang variability kumbaga. If minimal variability meaning konting galaw galaw lang here and there, then hindi maganda yun. Some even use outside stimulation like loud and startling sounds para "magising" si baby while testing kapag minimal variance ang naobserve sa tracing.

Excited ako for everyone yet to deliver their lo's! ^_^ Have a safe delivery!

34weeks and 6 days. Konting kembot nalang. Mommies, ano ba pakiramdam pag hiniwaan at tinatahi pag NSD? Not first time mom pero sa previous kasi painless ako and without cut kasi maliit si baby.

Wow congrats sis!
That's the reason bakit uulit ako ng BPS. Hehe ayaw gumalaw ni baby during that time. Pero pagkatayo ko, super likot na nya!

@ PINKAHOLIC - after the administration ng epidural wala ka naman mararamdaman na pain..

let me share my CS experience nun 2010. i heard na bilang sila ng mga gamit nun start ng operation. the OB calls for the number of the instrument and it is given to her.. ramdam ko un prang cut sa skin pero wala nga pain.. i can feel tugging ng skin and organs ko siguro un.. i recall the frenzy kase emergency CS ako and they need to have the baby out kase nga distressed sya.. i was awake/ conscious till the time nailabas un baby boy ko at umiyak sya.. sunod pa ako ng tingin kung san galing un iyak nya and i saw him being cleaned up for me.. after nun binigay sya sakin para sa 1st skin to skin contact namin at try sya maglatch.. but being a heavy baby na 8.4 nun ilabas ko nahirapan ako huminga kaya saglit lang un moment na un.. sabi ng anes try na daw ako rest at maganda naman daw assessment sa baby boy ko.. i fell asleep pero ramdam ko na pull nila un skin ko at un parang dinidikit nila un opening nila sakin pero wala ako pain. last i heard eh nagbibilang ulit sila ng gamit at gasa etc.

Di pumayag si OB sa gusto ko date na ma-sched CS ako. Although lagpas 37th week naman na yun. Sa April 19 na ko i-CS. Excited na ko na medyo takot din. hehe Mixed emotions.

- duhyan, medyo malaki talaga maningil OB mo kaya mas mahal un vaccine mo. Per OB din ata ang price nito.

- simang ako wala pa endorsement for BPS and NST. Siguro pag nearer na sa due tsaka ito i-recommend ni OB.

- Gusto ko nga din malaman kung tama ba ang laki ni baby at his age since sabi nga nila parang hindi nga malaki tummy ko for 7 months. Pero as long as sinasabi naman ni OB na just right lang si baby then we don't have nothing to worry.

Miss Granger, actually hindi dapat ako ipapa-BPS. Kaso last check up ko 31 weeks ako, hindi ako nag-gain ng weight for a month, plus nung sinukat ni OB yung fundal height, kulang din for my AOG. Tapos I started insulin pa that month kaya sabi nya baka naghahypoglycemia ako and nagugutom naman sobra si baby. Kaya concerned sya na baka bumagal development ni baby so yun, nagrequest sya ng BPS. Good thing 8/8 naman yung score ni baby, tapos weight nya is ahead ng almost 1 week. So narelieve din kami. But I don't think it's a standard procedure lalo na kung di naman high risk.

I had my NST the other day. I went to MMC triage due to lightheadedness. Apparently my BP is elevated at 140/90. 😔 It stabilized at 130/80 and so I was given Aldomet 250 2x a day. Great fetal movements during NST and negative protein in urinalysis. I saw my OB yesterday and she increased the dosage to 3x a day kasi my BP during checkup was 130/70 despite being on Aldomet already. 😔 Negative for preeclampsia for now pero pag nag shoot up daw ulit BP ko, they will conduct again urinalysis. Thing is my omron digital BP monitor is giving me unreliable results at home.

36 weeks tom and may humahabol pa na complications. ☹️ So sad. Tom na rin final ultrasound ko for placenta localization.

OB is hopeful na mag normalize yung BP before I give birth. Is this possible in 1-2 weeks?

Any issies out there who are in the same boat pero everything went out well naman?

36 weeks + 3 days here pero wala pa pinapagawang test si Dra sakin. Tanong ko tom if i need the NST and BPS test. Last test ko kase is Urinalysis and results were normal naman. Pero yung first 4 months ko grabe monthly ang ultrasound tapos bed rest pa and 4 x a day duphaston. Nag spotting kase ako nung 6 weeks pa lang and mababa yung placenta buti na lang umangat after 1 month.  Buti ngayon ok na. Konting konti na lang mga mommies makikita na ren natin cutie babies natin.
