Babies due on SECOND QUARTER OF 2016 (APRIL, MAY, JUNE) - Thread 2

^ako rin may times na kulang tulog ko and hindi ko siya nababawi. This happens after I pee in the middle of the night. I try to nap in the day pero sobrang babaw like after 15-30 mins magigising ako.

Baka related dito yung light headaches I've been having since 2nd trimester. On and off naman and very tolerable. More of tension headaches occurring on the left side of my head.

With my aches and pains plus anxiety issues, prenatal massage helps a lot talaga. Before once a week, pero since I hit my 3rd trimester, 2x a week na.

Gusto ko na manganak between 37/38 weeks. Going 35 na ko. 3 weeks to go. Ayoko na umabot ng May.

^nako sis, how i wish kayanin ko pa. 30 weeks pa lang ako tomorrow but then, Im looking forward to May 20 (last day at work) and I'll be 36 weeks by then. Ang hirap hirap ng bumangon sa umaga. Buti kapa konting konti nalang. I have 6 other friends na buntis din, nanganak na yung isa last Monday. Ako ang pinaka last!!!

Hi mga mommies, newbie here. Im turning 34weeks with my 4th baby and 4th cs na din,  kaso total bedrest ako til 37weeks kaya nakakaboring din at nakakainip .  Cant wait to meet my lil boy

Bed rest ako mga mommies, kanina nfollw up check up ko bigla ako pina non stress test si baby kasi nakita sa ultrasound ko may naka open na lining sa crvix ko baka tuluyan daw bumuka at bigla ako manganak may nag lalabor pala na di nakakaramdam ng pain?? Baka daw kasi ganon mangyari saken. Kaya Nag prescribed si doc ng utrogestan  200mg iinsert sa vagina twice daily for one week pang pakapit daw ito? Saka un antibiotic na azitromycin, for 3 days lang baka daw may bacteria sa loob na pwede cause ng pag open.. Altho wala naman nakita bacteria sa urinalysis ko... 😢😢😢  natadtad kasi ako ng biyahe nung holy week at last tuesday nag mop ako kaya may lumabas saken na mucus plug na color brown na may konte Blood kaya ako pina ultrasound at di ko alam un 4mm  naka open  sa lining ng cervix pala delikado na... Sad lang ako..

^ sis same din tayo feeling ko natagtag din ako nun holy week and nag shopping ako ng gamit ni baby. Kasi before holy week sabi ng ob ko medyo thin cervix na daw. The pasaway pa ko. Ayun 2cm na nun next checkup and madami discharge which means may infection daw. Di rin ako kasi pwede na mag labor due to my 3 previous cs. Na admit ako sa hospital for 4days kasi ayaw ng ob ko mag labor ako so naka isoxilan ako thru i.v and intake ng duphaston and flagyl. Nag promise na lang ako sa ob ko na mag total bedrest ako sa bahay basta discharge na. And buti na discharge na rin ako nun monday konting tiis na lang naman na. 😊

Baby story time!

My last appt was at 38+4, just my regular biophysical and NST. I was supposed to meet my assigned Doctor for that week to discuss induction on my 40th week but he got called at L&D to deliver babies so the technician went to find out what I needed to do prior to my 39th week check up. She came back with order from the doctor that I will be scheduled for induction on April 3rd, to my surprise. The reason being was I'm in the high risk category due to the following: maternal age, high blood pressure (white coat syndrome), GBS positive & baby has 2 vessel cord.

Arrived at the hospital Sunday night at 8, changed into gown and got prepped for monitoring. Doctor that night was the same doc I was supposed to see. He talked to me why I was being induced and signed some consent forms for blood transfusion and emergency c-section, then checked my cervix if I was dilated - 1 cm. and inserted a balloon catheter to ripen my cervix.  Told to get some rest and induction procedure will start next morning.

Had breakfast at 7am, started low dosage of pitocin, bag of IV and bag of antibiotic for GBS at 830 while being monitored with baby's heartbeat and contractions. Wasn't allowed to eat anymore. By 230, pitocin was bumped up and another dose of antibiotics were given, cervix was checked - 5 cm dilated already! I was asked about my birth plan and told them I'm going all natural, normal delivery without pain medication but I'll keep epidural in mind. Midwife who checked my cervix asked me if I wanted my bag of water broken and I said yes and so she did and warm water gushed all over the bed The balloon catheter was taken out before my water broke. At this point I was just waiting for the major contractions to start and it did not disappoint.

By 430ish the contractions are getting stronger, level of pain was 10 and I can't get a break anymore from the contractions. I've done all the oohs and aahs, squeezed my hubby's hand so tight to the point of hurting him already, and since he asked what he can do for me I told him to stop talking to me while I'm dealing with major pains Each peak of contractions feels like somebody was dropping a bomb in my belly and I wanted to drop a bomb from my behind too lol. Then I decided to tell the nurse I was ready to push, she was a little hesitant so she checked my cervix and felt where the baby's head was. I had to keep telling her I'm ready to push so she finally called a back up, midwife came in checked my cervix again then went out of the room. Few minutes later, Doctor came in, nurses from NICU, tables where being prepped and I'm still telling them I want to push lol. Finally, Doctor gave me the go signal, instructed me how I'm going to do it and there I was pushing like I wanted After 5 pushes, my baby boy was out at 5:15pm. Nobody took pictures while I was delivering because everybody was busy attending to me including my hubby, but he got to see how the baby came out, cut the cord and he was so proud of me doing it without any medication.

I did skin to skin and I was able to bond with my baby, the feeling was unexplainable! Then they did a lot of tests, baby's sugar level and temperature was lower than normal so he has to be monitored and has to meet certain score. Stayed at the birthing suite until I was ready to take a shower before they send me to our room. 48 hours later, we were discharged.

Sorry for the long post, I'm still in disbelief I'm a mom now and my labor went really well. So, good luck to all of you sissies who will go through the pain of labor - it's all worth it.

^^ wow congrats sis at makikita mo na rin si baby. May i know din kung bakit ka na bed rest? Takot din ba si ob mo regarding complications like placenta accreta?

Congratulation Jeune!!! Seems like you're not high risk with your labor going smoothly!

What was your blood pressure for it to be considered hypertensive and high risk?

@littlekinselle, how far along are you? Funneling ba yung nakita? Don't worry about it! Enjoy bedrest! And I'm sure the meds will help a lot!

Hi mga sis. Matagal na ko member dito. Pero minsan lang ako nakakapost and sa ibang topic pa.

Anyway, I am 40 weeks pregnant exactly today due to LMP. But based on the first TVS- april 11 ang due date ko. Srarted my ML on March 28. Nappressure na ko kasi up to now still no signs of labor. Mga friends ko lagi ng nagtatanong kung lalabas na daw ba s baby. And besides mejo worried na rin ako kasi nung 37th week nya, 7.2 lbs na sya. Baka ngayon ang laki na nya. As per OB if hindi pa rin ako manganak until monday next Monday, iinduce na raw nya ko. Kaya lang gusto ko pa sana to wait until natural labor occurs. And besides mas masakit saw pag induce. Im really aiming for NSD.

Anyway, nag IE sya last monday. Still 1 cm for two weeks na.until now may kaunting brown discharge pa rin ako. Normal kaya to o sign na na malapit na ko maglabor?

Gracey, ako rin pinag bed rest at talagang nakakabagot. Puro net at emails na lang tuloy ako. Minsan hindi ako paawat, lakad lakad at paayos ayos sa bahay dahil talagang nakakabagot.

Sis Gracey85, kasi nag preterm labor ako last week eh Hindi pa full-term si baby. Toxic kasi so bra sa workplace namin. Kaya may OB advised me na magleave na sa office at mag bed rest para di
Pa ako manganak.
Sa previous 3 kids ko naman, di naman ako na-bed rest, Pedro parang Mas relax nun sa office

@mommy coco-cola 32 weeks na ako today.. May 8 weeks pa ako para full term talaga.. Pero pinag dadasal ko kahit umabot naman ako ng 38 weeks okay na.. Wag lang  mas maaga pa kasi ang liit pa ni baby nasa 3lbs pa lang siya huhu..
Ang hirap kasi ako lang mag isa sa bahay si asawa ko naman pinag luluto na ako hanggang lunch na.. Then pag uwi ng gabi saka na lang siya mag luluto ng dinner namin... Hirap mag bed rest pero pwede naman ako mag lakad hanggang CR lang.

^ ^^ its relieving to hear di lang ako nag iisa. Hehe. Parang ang bagal tuloy ng araw pag wala kang ginagawa. Gusto ko rin sana mag karoon ng hobby like  crochet habang naka bedrest. Naka bedpan din ba kayo mga sis?

Mga sisses na ramdaman nyo ba minsan nag palpitate kayo kahit nakahiga? And feeling ko namamanas yun face ko pero wala naman sa ankles.

^Sis ganyan din ako sometime in my 2nd trimester. Though umuuwi si husband to eat lunch with me since malapit lang office niya. Pero magisa lang ako sa condo until dumating siya. He does all the chores. So thankful talaga. With bathroom privileges naman. One month pero its my decision to extend it and slowly ang pagdagdag ng activities.

Nakakabato pero hanap na lang ng ways para maaliw. Anxious ako nun kasi 20+ weeks pa lang ako. Drink lots of water para makaiwas sa contractions.

Gano katagal ka pinapabedrest? Lapit na yan sis.
