36 weeks here! we're very excited na pero syempre, we prefer having baby at around 38 weeks para fully developed na talaga sya lalo na ang lungs nya. we've completed all baby items, washed and stored na rin sa baby cabinet. the hospital bag is ready na rin so this weekend, ikakarga na sa car para no more worries.
Medyo OC ako, so share ko other preparations na ginawa ko aside from the usual baby stuff, hospital bag etc, hope this helps! :-)
(1). for those who are employed, i would assume you informed your employer and SSS about your pregnancy. Make sure you request for the following documents sa HR nyo, you'll need this to process your bills sa hospital:
- SSS Mat-2 (Mat-1 is the one you submitted to notify SSS)
- maternity cash advance claim (cash benefit from SSS)
- Philheath CF1 (filled out by your employer)
- MDR
- Contribution Certificate
(2). Create CHEAT SHEETS! Once admitted in the hospital, you'll be asked the same questions by doctors and nurses. Sometimes, hubby might not be sure with the answers, so I prepared 2 cheat sheets:
- - MOTHER'S CHEAT SHEET: here, i documented all my medical history, sickness, allergies, tests done during pregnancy, vaccines, etc. You can google some templates for this :-)
- BABY's BIRTH CERTIFICATE CHEAT SHEET: this should contain all the information you can find in the birth certificate form. This will come handy and will avoid incorrect spelling ng names nyo ni hubby and ni baby
Put these CHEAT SHEETS in
1 plastic envelope together with the following:
- items listed in #1
- Doctor's Admission and Instruction slip
- Bring also all the lab results you had during your entire pregnancy for reference if needed
- Marriage Certificate (original and photocopy)
- Birth Certificate of Parents (original and photocopy)
- Valid IDs ((original and photocopy)
- ballpen!!! :-) you'll sign a lot of documents for sure
3. Prepare CASH! In most hospitals, you can settle the hospital bill using credit or debit card but most of the time, Professional Fees of doctors are paid in cash.
Konting-konti na lang sisses! Keep safe! :-)
