Hi sisses! question po, i'm a May 2018 bride, my church wedding will start at 3pm, how early ba dapat naka-check in sa hotel? 2pm kasi ang usual na check-in, okay na ba na mag early check-in na lang kami ng 7am?

^Check in the day before. Kung 3pm wedding, baka 730am pa lang, start na ng hair and make up. If you have a coordinator, syempre dapat the night before nakaayos na sa hotel mga itturn over nyo na stuff. And I doubt kung payagan kayo ng hotel ng super early check in.

thank you for the feedback sis rowan. hindi ko naisip yan. feeling ko kaya na if ever na early morning kami mag-check in and to cost cut na rin sana unlike pag 2 nights

^ Inquire with the hotel muna if magkano for early check-in. They usually charge additional kasi and almost same price nung overnight rate. Another thing to note is kung mahigpit ba sila sa pagpasok ng mga food and then kung pwede magshoot ang P&V kahit saan (or baka mamaya may additional charge). Ang sakit sa ulo at sa bulsa ng mga hotels used for wedding preps lately.

For me, based on experience eh yung malapit sa Church sis michie25
Mahirap malate sa Church ceremony.

^thank you sis, may na-scout na kasi ako na hotel in the middle of the church and the reception but it turns out na may limit pala sila sa visitors, pano naman yung ento ko, hmua team and p/v so back to zero ulit ako sa paghahanap

Saang area sis michie25? - baka makahelp yung mga GT sisters natin to provide suggestions. Mahirap nga pag may limit ang guests lalo na for your ento and suppliers.

AirBnB houses kaya or condos? Baka may makita kang pwede for your area.

^ along shaw blvd sana sis, medyo pricey kasi yung lancaster. Shaw residenza suites sana kaso nga may limit daw sila sa visitors

@bubblygrazia yes, parang starting april (inabutan pa kami, april 22 kami), meron na silang charge sa room kung saan yun preps. I got 3 rooms pero bridal room lang chinarge nila. The fee is based sa size ng room na kinuha mo. I think we paid 2500 for 1-BR. Pero regardless, happy pa din kami sa oakwood kasi maluwag rooms, di strict sa outside food and mura yung rate nya sa agoda nung nabook ko. con lang nya is talagang sa room lang ang pictorial mo talaga, and lobby ata puede rin. Wala kasi sya nung mga grand staircases ng ibang hotels.

Apologies for the shameless plug, but would anyone be interested in purchasing a voucher for a one-night stay at EDSA Shang's Garden Wing Premiere Suite (67sqm, open-dated until April 2018)? I was supposed to use it as my wedding preps venue, but there was a change in plans. Sayang iyong voucher at baka pagtalunan pa namin ni fiance kasi I was so sure about EDSA shang before We bought it sa bridal fair at EDSA Shang last April for P14,500 (regular price is 16k+-20k+). Hi sis, you might wanna check hotels in Timog like luxent, b hotel & coccoon boutique.

Im also a QC bride and im looking at the newly opened Seda vertis north near Trinoma. May mga nkapag preps na po ba dito? Ok ba ang charges nila? Kasi 5 star hotel daw sya. And if may limitations ba sila like sa pagdala ng food, photoshoots and dami ng tao sa rooms. Thank you!

Hi Sis!  45k for photoshoot or room reservation equivalent of PhP 45,000.00. Bringing  of  outside  food  and  beverage  is  strictly  not  permitted. Bawal ang drone, maximum of 30 minutes (pv) is allowed per area.

Hello! Its me again. Sadly Oakwood will not be considered coz out of budget na. Aruga at the Grove will stop its hotel/serviced apartment style operations starting Oct 1.

I am left with two choices: Citadines Millenium Ortigas or Astoria Plaza Ortigas.

Your feedback regarding this two hotels will be helpful. TIA!

Hello Brides, baka lang may Tagaytay couple lurkers here, I have only good things to say about Crosswinds, so include that in your list and make sure to check out their 3 br suites, you will fall in love! Cheaper than hotels, mas malaki, mas picturesque, pwede magluto, pwede magdala ng foods, hinde mahigpit sa pictorials and sa no. of people na magstay and most of all, ang lakas maka Baguio feels ng area, so perfect for your photo shoots, lalo na kung may drone.

Hi Everyone,

I'm considering Conrad Manila for hotel preps for a 2018 wedding.

To those who had their preps in Conrad:

1. Is it cheaper to book through 3rd party sites (e.g. Agoda)? If so, any benefit in directly booking with the hotel?
2. Are there benefits (i.e. discounted room rates) in being a Hilton Honors member (Conrad membership)? How much is the discount, if ever?
3. Are they strict with the number of hours for the photoshoot?
4. Has anyone tried (if at all possible) to have a photoshoot in Conrad before the reception (in Blue Leaf Filipinas)?
5. Has Conrad Manila offered any promo (e.g. BDO Promo) for their rooms?
