^sis rory you can try discovery suites and taal vista sila lang naging option ko last time, i previously booked the presidential suite sa taal vista nasa 35k/night  sya ,they have 2 bdr and spacious receiving area or you can try din splendido too may mga 2 bdr din sila mas mura not sure on the rates though.

We redirected our efforts the past months sa other suppliers, picking up the preps now. Di rin pa ako marunong mag pm, but i'll try. haha!

Btw mga sis, we checked Marco Polo last weekend and ang ganda. Love at first sight kami ni h2b. haha! We're willing to book right then but nagpigil kami, decided to get feedback muna. Anyone with feedback sa Marco Polo ortigas?

super hassle si Sofitel on our wedding last Nov 5! nag-book kami ng rooms February pa lang and nagpa-member pa kami sa accor to get good rates and some gift certificates na din. we informed them na gagamitin ang rooms for wedding preps and pictorial. we didn't pay for the 15k security permit (for pictorial outside rooms-- sa garden, pool area, etc.) and ok lang daw yun since sa rooms lang naman yung pictorial. Since alam namin na super strict sila when it comes to outside food, we already informed our suppliers na cash allowance kami for their lunch.

On the wedding day itself, tinatawagan ako ng videographer kasi ayaw sila paakyatin sa rooms namin since hindi daw kami nag-secure ng permit. so, sabi ko pictorial will be done inside the rooms lang naman, that we won't shoot sa garden area. but we were told na they will only allow 2 people from the photo & video team!!  kaloka!  even our photo & video team, nagulat sa rule nila kasi dati hindi naman daw ganun.

so para di na kami ma-stress, we paid for the 15k security permit na lang and sinulit na lang pictorials outside. haaay, should've followed the advice of our photographer, sinabihan nya kasi kami before na as much as possible, wag na sofitel for the preps since super strict nga. kaso matigas ulo ko, we still booked sofitel since super lapit lang nya sa reception venue namin. Sayang si Conrad, hindi pa kasi sya open for reservations nung time na nagbo-book kami.

Sad to hear your story sis, grabe naman ang charge even inside the room bawal magpicture without permit. Pinagkakakitaan talaga ata nila.

pwede naman daw sis pero 2 people lang both from the photo & video team na ha, so useless din. haaay, naku we had to spend additional 15k pa tuloy. but, maganda naman photos and di na namin sya masyado inisip that day, that's our wedding day, bawal ang bad vibes. hehe

^May mga hotel kasi na super strict. Sa hotel na binook din namin Seda Hotel in Nuvali, if you're not availing below 10 rooms, you have to pay 10k for the photoshoot. Kaya 10 rooms yung binook namin.

This is our Conrad Manila Terrace suite sis. It's slightly smaller than our original booked Ambasaddor suite, but we get an instant access to the Terrace which beats all other view: sun, sea, City and the ferris wheel.

Hands down to Conrad Manila Service and staff. All are super bait and didnt had any probs with crew meal & suppliers going up.

I Just informed them that our stay Will Be used As Preps before hand. I had to sign a waiver though.

Been hearing about super strict Sofitel policy are. Being a former Supplier, Ive been reading post about fellow Supplier rants about Sofitel. So definitely Sofitel is Out As  our Preps hotel even if How beautiful their view is super swerte kami sa Conrad

hi mga sis  share ko lang for those who will have their wedding in QC area, Sulo Riviera hotel has a VIP card which you can get the rooms for 55% discount + other privilages. they have a wedding prep package 17k-30k pero mas sulit yung VIP card. P8k yung card pero you can use it sa ibang oras hindi lang sa wedding mismo.

also, has anybody here used Henry Hotel as preps venue? Kamusta naman?

We booked ours last month and our wedding is on August 2017.

For Henry's Hotel, check the rooms personally kasi based on photos parang ang liit ng rooms nila. Wala ako makita na total sqm na naka-indicate sa website nila. Sabi ng coordinator ko dapat daw at least 50sqm para hindi nasikip for you, your family and the suppliers.

I'm still deciding which one to pick among the list.
all got pros and cons, i cannot decide talaga. Any suggestion mga sis?

My top list are below in suite
pros- all are elegantly beautiful
cons most of them have 1 bedroom only i wanted to have it sana with my family kahit two bedrooms sana  (mga 4 kami magstay sa hotel) and no foods allowed talaga. Im worried my entourage will be hungry, im willing to provide naman allowance to the crew. (i have 9 entourage and 9 din si groom. Plus family pa.

1. Fairmont- Fairmont Gold Corner Suite (80 sqm)
They allow photo ops but with 5K fee with Raffles ommon areas narin, they have big windows and receiving area.

2. Raffles Makati- One bedroom excutive suite 120 sqm
 They allow photo ops but with 5K fee with Fairmont common areas narin, they have big windows and receiving area.

3. Shangrila Fort -Premier Suite 94 sqm
 They dont allow phot ops outside the room and also do not allowed any food, they have big windows and big receiving area.

4. Solaire -Primier Suite 87 sqm
 (any idea if they allow photo ops or may charge?  but i love the interior and receiving area)

Hubby wanted Raffles or Shangrila fort, i wanted  fairmont and solaire. Our coordinator wants the following.

Reasonable rates that allowed food, photo ops and with two bedrooms kaso medyo masikip yung room.

1. Ascott Bonifacio Two bedroom 102 sqm
Nasisikipan ako sa receiving area nila and hindi masyadong maganda common areas na pwedeng photo ops.

2. Conrad Manilan Ambasador Suite 192 sqm
Big rooms pero parang bare ng mga common areas

3. Discovery Primea two bedroom 94 sqm
Big receiving area but small rooms and i need a nice wide window sana and ayaw ko ng curtain nila , sorry ha napansin ko lang sa ibang shots ng photographer na nagshoot dun.

HIndi ko pa alam pipiliin.Ang tagal ko na nagiisip kung saan maganda, Any reviews mga sis or any leading infos?

I didn't consider the peninsula coz even they dont allow foods and photo ops plus ayoko ng rooms nila. Others na nakulangan ako diamond hotel, new world makati, shangrila makati)

My budget is around 50K for 1 night for two rooms.
 The next day kami nalang ni hubby maiiwan so any suite room will do.

I asked Solaire before about photoshoots, they don't allow it. They only allow photoshoots sa area nila if Solaire din ang reception mo, if not, hanggang room lang talaga.

How about City of Dreams? Crowne and Hyatt are nice. Alam ko may big windows sila especially the corner rooms.

When I asked about the photoshoot, they said 25k ang fee but when I read it parang pang-full blown photoshoot naman yung conditions nila kasi may kasamang props, number or people and all. When I asked if few minutes lang naman yung shoot, like before going to church lang and it will not take more than 15mins and a few people lang naman, hindi na ko sinagot (until now) to think October pa ko nag-email. I let it go na lang. Nainis na ko, hehe!

To those looking for a hotel in Alabang area, consider other hotels than Acacia Hotel. I was so disappointed knowing that they charge P10k for pictorial shoot. And that is only good for 3 hours. I have called Crimson, Vivere, Somerset, and Bellevue and they do not charge for issuing permits to shoot as long as you have booked a room with them. We canceled our booking with Acacia and will go with Bellevue instead.

Finally booked our room in raffles hotel, good thing may discount today i only got is for 23K for the  one bedroom suite, I booked 2 rooms plus 1 additional night for my room.  Its 120 sqm room.
Sa raffles talga gusto ni hubby than fairmont or shangrila. So dun nalng.

we had our wedding preps at Manila Peninsula Hotel.

the bad side - we're not allowed to bring in food from outside. we discussed with our suppliers na lang prior to the wedding na magbibigay na lang kami ng food allowance and nagprovide din kami ng light snacks. on the day during preps, hubby was able to convince the manager to allow konting food from Jollibee for our family and friends na andun sa hotel. hindi allowed ang pictorial within the hotel PERO we were able to sneak in a few shots - nasa diskarte ng p/v team. ang ganda ng kinalabasan ng pics!

the good side naman - ang ganda ng hotel! we got 4 rooms - 1 suite for me and 3 deluxe rooms for the groom and our families. 16 adults kami lahat na andun! parang naging treat na rin namin sa kanila yung hotel staycation, dun palang ang dami na namin pictures. we were all on the same floor so hindi na nahirapan yung suppliers namin to go around. the suite was big enough with all the suppliers who came in and out of the room. since malapit lang yung hotel to our church (SSA), we had a lot of time for pictorials which is important since morning wedding kami. hindi nagmamadali and no more worrying about traffic. kumuha din kami ng pen card, sobrang nasulit namin yun. aside from the discount and freebies sa rooms, sinulit din namin yung promos for the restaurant. on our wedding night, nag dinner kami sa Old Manila (50% off) and the morning after naman brunch sa Escolta (free!). it was a great way to wrap up the wedding weekend.
