Just booked oakwood for wedding preps. No staircase and grand hotel lobby. Pero ok  na din because of the very spacious and nice rooms. We were eyeing richmonde Eastwood sana, kaya lang mas mahal and mas madaming restrictions.

We also availed of the membership para mas mura. We got everything for around 20k. 2 bedroom suite plus 1 bedroom suite for wedding day and one studio after the wedding.

I have my wedding preps included in the package na, 2 nights at Edsa Shang Executive Room at 63sqm, I asked if I can upgrade to Garden suite, its around 9k additional charge daw according to my AE. E 69sqm lang yun, 6sqm difference lang, if the 9k is for 2 days na, parang mahal pa rin as I've seen in the comments  here mga 2k lang difference between the 2. Anyways, I am thinking to not upgrade na, just add rooms for our family. Kasi ang plan ko in my room, mom ko lang, sa room nya dad nya lang. Para I can use the additional rooms to make it as a makeup room for my entourage.

Question though, our wedding is at 4pm, so kailangan 2 days din ang room ni groom? Since he needs to check out around 12 or 1? He will have to wait if that's the case.

And one more, my entourage hair and make up will be done in the hotel so I have to extend one more night again for that? Any tips?

^ when you say that you booked your suite for 2 days, is  that just an overnight stay? Kasi hotels count it by nights. The best is to book your primary accomodation for 3 days 2 nights ( you'll only be paying for 2 nights stay).  If you'll have your wedding on a Friday, dapat thursday night nandun na kayo(chechout Saturday). Your family if they are not going to stay after the wedding, can just book overnight. Check-in Thursday, checkout Friday. Medyo hassle lang, but they need to make sure that they are packed before 7 am and ipasok na lang yung mga gamit sa kwarto nyo before leaving for the church. Just remove the stuffs that they will need for your wedding. But keep your valuables in a secure place.  Its doable naman, it just needs discipline thats all.  If you have a 4PM wedding, most likely you will be leaving by 3PM, needs to be ready to leave by 2:30. Ask your coord what your most likely itinirerary for that day is para may idea kayo. It depends on the number of your entourage, pero you probably would need HMUA to start on you by 7 or 8am, entourage would probably start by 7am or earlier (depending on head count and on how fast your HMUA works). By 11:00 everybody would need to be ready for photo ops and lunch.  Before that time, you could probably deck someone from your family and his to do checkout.  Either book a room for a late checkout.   

If budget is not a concern, then you could either book 3 days 2 nights for another room as well.  Good luck sis.

Hi Girls!  I'm new here, pero I've been a lurker here since I got engaged last year. My wedding will be Oct. next year at CTK Green Meadows. Not sure if this is out of topic pero I'll try na rin, do you guys think it's a good idea to rent a condo/house in airbnb to be used for the wedding preps?

Hi Kai_21 airbnb is okay. I tried to inquire at one shang via airbnb, for my wedding preps, pero for my entourage sana. The host allowed me to have the preps there, the condo unit is big and parang hotel din. But hindi ko pa binook, iniisip ko lang as one of my options.

nikkipedia - parang ang sarap ng after party tapos like sainyo nasa tagaytay, sarap ng hangin, kwentuhan, musics and lots of drinks!

After the wedding kasi pag balik namen sa hotel sumama yung mga friends and close cousins namen, dapat mag iinuman pa ganyan. But then its a weekday, everybody suddenly felt they need to go home na. So wala na, natulog nalang kame.

Parang ang sarap mag renew ng vows tapos simpleng ganto yung party!! haha

Hi girls! Ask ko lang sa mga brides na nag prep sa MANILA HOTEL esp the 2016 brides, if they allow na mag pasok ng crew meal sa loob ng room? Actually, i asked already at payag naman sila but the maximum number ng crew meals na pwede daw ipasok is 3 meals per room so my problem is I have 28 heads sa hotel. May mga nakalusot na ba sa inyo at nakapasok ang more than 20 meals sa loob ng manila hotel? Thank you so much!

hi sis prettylove! Sadly, mahigpit sa Manila Hotel magpasok ng food.. Yan din kasi problem ko though 2017 pa ang wedding ko. Tip ko sayo coordinate mo sa OTD mo kasi most likely nakapag assist na sila ng wedding nun and they already know what to do. In my case kasi OTD ko na ang bahala dun sa napag usapan namin meal allowance na lang bigay ko sa kanila and sya na bahala sa ibang suppliers mag organize. Isa sa mga kinakainan daw nila dun Parking Lot. Yung 3 per meal mo for your entourage na lang siguro..
