We checked 3 hotels yesterday at QC. We first checked Luxent. 5k bridal shoot inside the room then add 10k if you also want to shoot outside the room. So 15k for the photoshoot alone on top of the expensive room rate. Grabe lang

Next was B Hotel. It was okay. Almost half the price of Luxent but h2b isn't much of a fan of industrial type designs but he liked the idea of their 2-bedroom suite na magkatapat lang ang rooms ng bride and groom. We pencil booked them because of the affordable 2-bedroom suite. Shooting fee is 7,5k.

The last hotel we checked was Torre Venezia. Room rates were quite expensive but they gave us 30% discount then 2k for the shooting fee. Lumalabas na mas mababa pa yung total rate niya compared to B Hotel. Mas nagustuhan din ni h2b yung rooms which were classic type of hotel room. We also pencil booked them. We might get them pag wala na kami nakitang hotel with better offer

I am scouting a wedding prep hotel in QC since my friend's wedding is in Fernwood, May I ask where is your church and reception? I'm considering these 3 options you mentioned. Thank you for the details pala and I cant believe na may additional 10k pa sa Luxent if the shoot is outside the hotel room.

@iamdettie Actually sa may Hanging Gardens pa venue namin, same venue for ceremony and reception. Medyo malayo pero willing to travel naman since walang malapit na hotel dun. Wala pa kami ulit time na mag ocular pero mukang convinced na talaga si h2b sa Torre Venezia. Try mo din search pa sa ibang hotels. Halos tabi tabi lang naman sila

Hi sissies! One thing I have learned in booking a hotel is ask them if you are entitled for a corporate discount kasi ang laking tulong! 20% din yun!

I suggest ask mo muna yung rates nung hotel, kasi minsan may local residents rate sila baka mas mura kaysa mag online. And hindi ba kelangan aware yung hotel na gagamitin mo siya for wedding preps and  photoshoot?

^better ask the hotel first. but minsan talaga. mura din yung nasa agoda sis! kaya lang check mo if u can have the pictorial and everything na ginagawa during wedding preps. mahirap na magkapoblema during the wedding day.

Agree. Better ask the hotel first, like what we did sa Ascott BGC. During the ocular visit, we also asked kung may procedure ba para sa photo shoot within the area. Good thing for Ascott, there are no additional charges, they just need us to fill up a form and ensure the hotel logo won't be captured daw. Also check mo na din kung may discounts kung mag register ka as a member HTH!

^we had our preps there for the wedding of my highschool friend last January, abay ako. okay naman maganda for pictures sa lobby and pool kaso what I didn't like was medyo nagutom kami kasi di kami inallow magpasok ng food na madami, I was informed na limited lang daw sa actual capacity ng room ang food na pwede ipasok. I heard na the suppliers were also only given meal allowances kaya i wondered pano sila kumain din. Medyo nasikipan din ako sa room kaya most of us entourage were on standing mode almost the entire time while waiting for our turn sa makeup.

I'm getting married at Christ the King, so ang tinatarget ko sana hotel preps ay either Oakwood Hotel (as recommended by my photovideo supplier) o kaya sa Marco Polo. I also attended a bridal shower sa Astoria Plaza kaso iniisip ko parang wala masyadong areas na okay for pictorials don pero maluwag ang rooms. Will need to do an ocular pa talaga sa iba to be sure.

hi sis! this review is also helpful to me kase I already booked manila hotel waaaaa! sana makapagtakas ako ng food, even tough di ko alam paano ko gagawin. isa yan sa mga fear ko huhu. though, nag book ako ng 3 BR kasi inanticipate ko na yung sikip dahil lagi ako umaabay hehe.. super thanks sis!

febbie07 & TheBusyBride - hi mga sis. Oakwood ang preps ko. Among the other choices, Shangri-la talaga if you have the budget. Tingin ko mas maganda ang Marco Polo kesa sa Oakwood, kaso correct me girls if I'm wrong, ang alam ko wala silang big rooms eh. Crowne Plaza sabi ng mga friends ko medyo luma na daw yung facilities. So ayun, kaya ako nag Oakwood.
