Finished na po kami mag donate sir CH, about 3 sacks of rice (total of 150kg) for husband, son and I. Nagpaghahalatang mabigat ang timbang naming pamilya hahaha.

A simple act of giving really makes a difference, it makes you feel complete kahit na tayo ang "giver". Walang nabawasan, dahil parang na-feed ang soul natin.

Thank you again sir CH and sir Akthung!

P.S.

^wow sis congrats at naka pag donate na kayo 😊 I plan to do it before Monday too. Kahit pa unti unti din as tight budget kami. Ang iniisip ko na Lang and this is what I say I my hubby too, na we will do it to pay forward sa mga blessings na ibinigay sa amin ng Diyos.

Sir CH, since madadagdagan kami ng family member when I give birth next month or so, pwede ko ba isali si baby sa bilang ng weight ng bigas? Let's say an additional sack for her?

Thanks po! God bless everyone here 😊

Hi Sir CH! Been a long time na since I last visited this thread. 4th quarter of 2015 wasn't really good for me (in terms of love life lol my bf of 8 years broke up with me bec of 3rd party). But very thankful to my family and friends who kept me sane. I slowly moved on from that very painful phase in my life. Totoo talaga. I was set to leave for another country to work and live there pero expected date pa is mid-2016, pero biglang bumilis 'yung process.

Anyway, as I've mentioned I'll be working na abroad in a few months time, leaving in March. What can you say about this? Really looking forward to this kasi first time ko na mag-isa na lang talaga, new place, new people, new work. Sad lang 'cause I'll be away from my family and friends pero iniisip ko na lang babalik din naman ako :) Doon ko na kaya mahanap forever ko? Haha! Btw, my birthday pala is July 19 1990 :)

i will reply in general to those who included me in their questions.

please note this is my school of thought. and i highly encourage everyone to think deeply on what i have to say.

giving should be constant. occasionally we are guided (outwardly and inwardly) to give more for certain situations. think of giving as a savings account....the more karmic merits you have, the more cushion you have.

please do not underestimate the law of karma....it is the LAW. every religion/belief has this law whether they know it or not. even science has this law - an equal action from our actions.

as i had mentioned before, there is a system to giving.

giving is like buying a piece of land on the mountain....meron dapat unahin gawin at meron hindi. like one couple i know, they bought a piece of farm land on a mountain. hindi nila MUNA inalam kung may tubig. hindi nila alam kung ano situation around with the neighbors. basta binili nila agad kasi presko daw hangin.

we should give according to our karmic obligation. take note...karmic. based on the law of karma.

what if panget ang relationships mo with your siblings? which would you work on first? siblings or pusa?

what if you did not work on your relationship with your siblings? later in life nahospital ka... yung pusa ba magmamalasakit sa medical needs mo? if you are able to satisfy your karmic obligations, and your karmic needs, then you may move further out of the hierarchy of giving...contribute ka na sa puno, hayop etc....  not unless you have a direct karmic problem with an animal or part of nature...you should stick to  your obligations and karmic needs.  remember the more WHOLE you are...the more STABLE you are in life....THE MORE you will be able to GIVE.

again, you should give according to your karmic needs too . if you need malunggay to keep you healthy (specific ailment), then plant malunggay.

kaya the key here, in the rice remedy, i opine, is kabuhayan. by giving away rice you are giving kabuhayan. thus your kabuhayan karmic account will be filled. that is the purpose...to soften the blows of 2016 sa ating kabuhayan.

Obiter Dictum naman:
If you have children who are mentally challenged, it would be more benefiting to sponsor talented children and dedicate it to your children.

haven't you noticed mga chinese mahilig mag donate? then you see henry sy building...or [businessman name] college of business....  or [rich businessman name] foundation....

ginagawa to para kahit nasa kabilang buhay na yung tao....makaka reap pa siya ng good luck on earth... very wise ang nakaisip neto...  because in the inner plane...there's not much you can do until your next incarnation...the best place to evolve is on earth...the physical plane. (hence living is a blessing, and this is why the church frowns on suicides.)

yes your relative can send money...but trust me...you will gain the respect of the heavens even more if they see you exerting physical effort...magical things happen...this i learned from serving 2 of my teachers...many disciples quit pag nahirapan ng konti...ako kung kailangan kong gumapang..gagapang ako. i did this when my master visited australia. i received so many rejections n false promises. many told me to stop. pero tuloy pa din laban...then  miracles happened. but its up to you...if no choice nga naman...but the key here is to meditate and find a way

cash or object ang dapat ibigay? ika nga ni sir ch, you have to meditate and intuit what is needed.

if its an organization, well....organized sila... alam nila ano need nila or hindi nila need. you can ask them naman. if they need more wheel chairs...then you can give wheel chairs....if they're not open, cash is best so then can spend on what they need most...

example lang noon, sa ROTC namin, since we were preparing for a contest...madami nahihimatayan...  what we needed then were ice packs....sinabi namin sa mga magulang...pero bandages ang binigay...it didnt solve the problem..

re: difficult people...it can go either way. when u meet a difficult person...pray na gumanda buhay niya...continue blessing....also pray for a solution...sometimes maybe its better for one to leave instead of a prolonged stay.

Mark 4:11

Jesus told his disciples, "to you the teachings of heavens; to them the parables."

there are two kinds of spiritual teachings, inner teachings and outer teachings. The outer teachings are the parables. the teaching of heavens corresponds to the inner esoteric teachings.

Matthew 7:6

"Do not give dogs what is sacred"

sacred corresponds to the inner teachings. but why dogs? dogs symbolize loving average human beings but without the mental capability of understanding.

"do not throw pearls to swines"

means do not throw priceless spiritual teachings to those who do not understand. pigs/swines represent those who are enslaved by the lower human nature.

thus the teachings are divided into inner teachings and outer teachings.

what we're trying to do here is to look into the inner teachings...

dont be amused with parables. sit. meditate. go beyond parables and find the inner teachings.

(Long time reader, pero I lost access to my old account kaya nag-create na lang ako ng bago)

Very timely yung comment mo akthung about karmic obligations!

But when I read about donating grains, napaisip talaga ako. Sila talaga ang una kong naalala. As in, biglang sila ang pumasok sa utak ko - and I thought, is this a sign?

Karmic obligations - it doesn't feel right na magdodonate ako to an organization, pero itong mga in-laws ko walang makain. So naisip ko, donate to both. One sack to an organization of our choice, one sack to my in laws. Meets my karmic obligation, and also to ward off ill luck sa new year. Ang prayer ko lang, sana protektahan kami ni Lord sa further problems, to protect our family and our livelihood; and for forgiveness in my heart.

Sabi ni CityHunter, go where your heart / feet are leading you. Thoughts?

Thank you for the pointers Akthung.

on saturday i asked my mom to buy 2 sacks of rice to be donated to our parish church in dasma cavite.
and i will will probably buy 2 more sacks of rice for our local parish here in qc. its good that our churches are near the wet market so delivery will not be a problem because we dont have a car at our disposal. and i will also fill our rice storage for the CNY.

Me too,

I had the same problem with my in laws as in grabe the level of defamation I would like to forgive pero ang hirap. This is why we moved out and now recently I have been having problems with my mother nauungkat yung mga old wounds hay so many old wounds na hard to forget and my mother     always blaming me for everything bad that happened to me. As much as I would like to forgive it has been a challenge sir Akthung. Although in the bigger picture I want us to get along of course pero on a daily basis napakahirap mag start from zero and forget all the tampo and resentment specially from my mother's end.

Thank you Akthung for sharing your wisdom to us!

Ganun din ang naiisip ko @twinkelay. We live with my mom but Hindi na kami magkasundo lately.  And sya ang naiisip ko, do my obligation here at home and buy a sack of rice. But is it ok kaya @Sir CH and @akthung if kami rin mag consume ng rice since we live under one roof?

another good way of generating luck to help your income generating activities is to support/donate to organizations that are helping people to make a living for themselves. Kunwari may ABC organization, teaching basic plumbing and carpentry,....donate to that.

Hi Sir Akthung, pasok ba dito if you patronize products na ang companies are helping the livelihood of others? For e.g. is Human Heart Nature?

To Sir CH, not necessarily to finish the donation before CNY this Feb. 8, right? Basta masimulan before Feb 8? I am thinking of giving rice sa magbobotes in our area. Medyo madami sila dito.

Yun sa donation equivalent or more sa weight ay indeed try to start it before CNY.  Yun points raised ni akthung ay pay heed to it.

Guys just to clear things up.

Im encouraging all of you to be consistently generous. Yung mga hindi pa generous or scattered ang direction, now is the time to ponder on how to plant properly

yung tip ni Sir CH, gawin niyo yun in addition to being consistently generous, so stick strictly sa protocol na binigay niya.

spiritual discernment is something you develop through years of practice (meditation + obervation + trial and error).

Hindi niyo madedevelop yun if you dont try to stand up on your own. When i started... All the answers i got from my mentors were variations of "meditate on it".

also kanya kanya tayong karma so you have to be creative in finding a solution or solutions that would work for you. The template has been given, i wrote about this too sa Tithing thread.

two of my teachers became international lecturers in just a few years-- they knew how to use the law of karma

re: difficult people

in laws or not, same banana basta difficult people. Blessing them with love and divine energy may soften them. Kaya nga encourage ko mga tao mag twin hearts meditation becaue u bless people with love harmony peace etc... It will also lower the crime rate in your area. Also it changes people... Depende on how deep they are sa mud or how strong they are sa light.

sir CH and sir akthung, regarding karmic obligation po.. and same situation with sis Twinkelay, na i can give some donation to some charity but i cant even help my family.. i have this thought kasi na i dont want them to be dependent on me. but then it will just be a one time thing lang naman...

i am thinking of giving 1 sack of rice din for my parents and dun sa compound ng aunt ko where about 2 families are there and my lola and cousins.. i kinda got paranoid lang they might sell the rice per kilo ;D hehe

EDIT:

share ko lang yung dates nung lunar calendar with our calendar

I am so thankful to Akthung and Sir CH for sharing their knowledge. May God contunue to bless both of you. Ang dami kong realization and need to act on it one step at a time, slowly until maincorporate to sa system ko. I have the tendency kasi to procrastinate :(

Regarding helping your immediate family or relatives, siguro hindi lang yung mas masarap sa pakiramdam na ang tinulungan mo ay total stranger to you, walang connection or attachment to you yet you able to help them. Anytime we can help or give sa mga taong malapit sa atin at kahit hindi sila humingi kung sa tingin natin kailangan nila ng tulong natin we can able to help them.
Sometimes nga lang they tend to abuse your generosity. IMO ko lang naman po yan.

Hi CH,

Lots of crazy things happened last month. Andaming problems related sa work and relationships.

A friend of mine mukhang naloko ng pinautang niya, and the other one didn't receive extra income na inaasahan sana. Another close friend of mine is getting married this Saturday; good thing the wedding will push through kasi nascam sila nung isang wedding organizer and hindi pa nababalik bulk of their wedding budget sana (more than 100k). Ngayon the couple kakasend lang ng demand letter and waiting if makikipagsettle; if not case na ng estafa. I want to post in FB and other wedding forums din a warning about this person and her business dahil meron pa rin silang existing ads in websites, but I don't know if makakaapekto sa wedding like baka somehow e malas to do that before the wedding day mismo. Iniisip ko to do in on sunday para before ng chinese new year and hindi na dadalhin pa sa new year mismo. May sense kaya ito or yung date is not relevant naman?

Kakainis pa na this person very active mag-update sa FB niya like wala siyang niloko. Ayun CH thank you!

Hi Akthung,

Sometimes mas magaan magbigay ng tulong sa ibang tao kesa sa family lalo na if you have a difficult relationship with them, but maganda yung sinabi mo about prioritizing those na meron kang karmic obligation.
