HK Disneyland trip as birthday celebration

Hi mga sis. I haven't seen any topic for my question yet. Meron po ba sa inyo ang nagcoconsider ng HK trip as birthday celebration for your daughter/son? My daughter will be turning 7 this December and we're planning to treat her to Disneyland instead of having a big party. Medyo complicated din kasi sa sched and preparations since both of us are working abroad. If in case there is, can you let me know / share your experience / iterinary para mapaghandaan and mabudget ng maayos. First time dun namin na pupunta doon. Thank you

I also saw some blogs about having birthday at Disneyland but most of the blogs were 2years ago. I dont know if still the same price as now. I read there that if you book in Disneyland Hotel, you can customize the room and they will do it for you. They will also prepare something for the birthday celebrant like free cake, balloons and loots inside the hotel.  In their restaurant, Disney characters will sing a birthday song for the celebrant with a cake also. Then during the photo ops in Disneyland park, they will prioritize the birthday celebrant. No need to queue in.

Yung 7th birthday ng daughter ko pinapili ko siya that time Party or HK Disneyland. Disneyland pinili niya    2013 pa yan mga 50k nagastos ko 4pax, 2 days yung pass namin sa Disneyland. For me ok na ganun ginawa ko naka pag celebrate na yung bata plus nakapagshopping pa ako.

^^yung may mga freebies like bday cake etc ay kapag bday party package ang iavail mo sa hk disney hotel. Pwede naman siguro mag stay lang sa hotel then may disney charcter dining options naman.

Simpleng 7th bday party at travel rin ginawa namin nun nag-7 ang daughter ko. Mas simple, mas masaya.

P2500 lang airfare namin roundtrip promo kasi. we stayed sa hotel outside disneyland mas ok kasi mas madami mapupuntahan na hindi na kailangan sumakay ng train. our hotel is big rin 35sqm with bath tub ang cr kaya everyday nag bubble bath siya.

i guess depende iyan sa bata. make your child choose rin yung ibang bata gusto nila mag party. i ask my son and sabi niya travel na lang daw. that time kasi new student siya and wala pa masyadong friends sa school.

Hi sis amethyst true, ganyan rin son ko. He will be 7 this december rin and we asked him if he wants to have a party or travel. He said travel. We let him choose , Legoland or Hk Disneyland, he chose Disneyland. Normally its better to stay at the hotel outside Disneyland. My friend who stayed there for her kid's birthday said the room starts at HK$2000+. But if youre lucky to get a promo mas mababa ng kaunti daw. I suggest you try to check the Disneyland website,so you can have an idea how much ang gagastusin if ever.

Following here din as this is what I plan to do naman for my daughter's 8th birthday. Kung ako lang din talaga, mas gusto ko this year (her 7th) to be not so bongga, then HK Disneyland trip. Pero si hubby ay iba ang gusto. To think I'm the one crazy about parties. Hehe.

^4 kame dapat but mom couldn't make it kaya 3 lang kame. paid 12k for 4pax roundtrip airfare cebupac naka promo sila that time.

diy lang itenerary namin. i've been to hk na kasi a few times so it wasn't hard to go around and light lang activities namin kasi may kasamang bata. no heavy walking and shopping. mostly chill lang. our hotel was big with bath tub. and walking distance siya sa mga restos, malls and train stration kaya it was easy for us to go from one place to another. pag tinatamad kame we just go to the malls near our hotel or chill lang sa coffee shop nakiki wifi. 50k is with food already hindi naman kasi kame kumakain sa mahal na resto. mga 2x lang ata kame nag dinner sa medyo expensive. but that was 2012 pa. prices are higher na ata.

i have u.s. dollars then i only exchange what i will be using for that day and dun sa money changer na mataas ang palitan. if we have to go very early in the morning i exchange na sa gabi before kame bumalik ng hotel kasi late na rin nagbubukas mga money changers. budget lang din kasi siyempre pangit naman na nag all out ka then pag balik mo ng pilipinas baon ka sa utang sa credit card. saklap naman non.

Subscribing to this thread. I was able to score a very good airfare deal with Cebu Pacific. Kaninang madaling araw lang.  Dito namin balak mag 7th birthday yung anak ko, pero baka mag small party nalang kami sa mismong araw ng birthday niya next day flight naman namin to Hong Kong. Itinerary namin ay Disneyland lang.

At 7 y/o, our children can choose na what they like.   Last year, we had a very early celebration/travel to Japan and she got to visit Disneyland and Disney Sea.  Pero the ultimate tour for her is the snow resort and she got to sled, she looked forward on that day and super enjoy si bagets.  On her birthday itself, no plans to party pero 2 weeks before, my husband and I cannot resist celebrating such kaya we threw a very simple one with her select friends, ninongs and ninangs, and family members lang.

kelangan ba HK Disneyland? what about Disneyland in LA?

our daughter is celebrating her 3rd birthday this year and we (or I) decided to take her to the happiest place on earth... we're thinking kasi of having a 2nd baby soon and I just want to savour her and give her something BIG before mahati na attention namin ng Dad nya.

magpapareserve kami for character dining once a day, for the 3 days we're there and since she loves dressing up, magpapareserve rin kami sa Bibbidi Bobidi Boutique so she can get made up

in house celebrations - sa Disney hotels lang sya ginagawa but I'll DIY so bibili na lang ako decorations online and decorate the room while she's asleep or something

every morning rin I want the "good fairy" to leave her pressies para pag gising nya, it will put her in a magical mood na

Hindi naman siguro kailangan na HK disneyland, Euro disneyland pinuntahan namin nun nag-7 daughter ko pero kahit saan pa yan na disneyland yata nakakatuwa talaga para sa mga bata. Nagkataon lang pinakamalapit sa pinas ang HK.

We celebrated my daughter #2's birthday at Disneyland Tokyo naman. Syempre masaya.
Sa 3rd birthday I'm thinking of Disneyland HK. Wala ng party party, bagong buhay na.

Supposedly HK disneyland kame for my kiddo's 7th birthday. But it was changed to Legoland, USS and SG vacation. just planning to go to Disney maybe on his 8th birthday na lang. At least he can enjoy na all the rides kasi 8 years old na sya and matangkad na lalo compared now. Although matangkad na sya now kaso baka if late ang Legoland eh di na nya maenjoy yun kasi mas prefer na nya ang extreme rides kasi big boy na. So while maliit pa, before mag 8 pasyal na namin sya sa Legoland
