Our Schengen visa just got approved! ❤️ OMG we're so excited for our honeymoon!! Feels surreal!

Unfortunately h2b will only have 3 weeks for the pre, during and post wedding vacation. So we have to postpone our Maldives plans for our honeymoon. We might do it mga 3-6 mos after.

Now, we only have 3 days after the wedding day before h2b leaves again for work, (maiiwan ako, but susunod naman ako sakanya after a week) pressure kung san pwede magpunta na ok pa din!

Initially planned our minimoon sa Siargao, we suddenly had a change of heart, tapos lumindol pala the other day. 

For these 3 days, na we know super pagod kami pero on a wedding high, we thought about Boracay na madali puntahan, our issue was summer so matao and baka madisappoint kami kasi we've recently been to El Nido, Coron, Bantayan, Oslob and Sumilon, tapos Maldives nga target, but then we remembered Shangri La is on a secluded island, and it's an amazing resort hotel, kaya we are now communicating with them.  Bumalik excitement namin for our quick getaway.

A friend told me it is essential, if not imperative to have a honeymoon, maski super short lang right after the wedding. Not necessarily bongga kasi this is the best time, to relax after the grueling wedding preps, and let everything sink in, bago magwok uli, lalo na based kami abroad.

Anyone here who has been in Southern Thailand? Like sa Phuket and sa Krabi? El nido talaga ang plan namin, eh nung nalaman nya na gusto din daw pumunta ng relatives nya  sa palawan nagbago ang isip baka daw mag out of the country na lang kami, pero yung heart ko dito lang talaga sa pinas hahaha gusto ko kasi unahin muna ang pinas bago ang ibang country, soon.

And we super enjoyed our stay! We were able to go to Kata, Kamala and Patong while we were there. If you're flying from Bangkok, make sure to get Bangkok Airways for your local travel. They have full meals onboard and lounge access kahit Economy class ticket. 

The best thing about Phuket is we never had to worry about magnanakaw, haha. We could roam freely, leave our belongings in a public area unguarded, and still come back with nothing missing. So we were able to really explore and enjoy the honeymoon.

We decided na we won't go on a honeymoon anymore or maybe delay na lang to the end of the year.

The money kasi earmarked for our honeymoon we ended up buying a condo unit.

Also wala kaming leave, we took 2 months off (Dec/Jan) so even for the wedding wala akong leave. I had to take unpaid leave.

Siguro we will just do it with our normal end of year holiday. Sneak off to Japan for a week or two na lang.

Our DREAM honeymoon would be in BoraBora/Tahiti/French Polynesia or in Fiji But man, grabe! Pang millionaire lang sa mahal hehe! So we're actually looking now at Palau or maybe Seychelles

We're planning on going to Iceland pero maybe a month or two after the wedding na Sana matuloy

maedonnas yipee so excited for you! Goal namin this year or early next year to obtain a US visa.

I just got back here in Qatar, we loveeeeeed our minimoon, 3 days lang free ni husband after the wedding so we had to postpone Maldives, but boy no regrets, Shangri La Boracay is superb!!! Sulit na sulit what we paid for. 

Looking forward to our real-long-much anticipated honeymoon, pero probably after a year during our annual vacation.

We're looking at doing a Bali honeymoon. question lang mga sis, when's the best time to go there ba na hindi ganun kainit pero hindi din naman maulan? h2b really wanted to stay in that bamboo cottage we saw kasi which i think doesn't have an AC. TIA!

Hi sis Tincywincy for me July is the best time to go there H2b and I went there in July and in March, perfect ang July. Where is that bamboo cottage you saw? We stayed in one bamboo cottage in Jimbaran walang AC, fan lang pero it was near the cliff on a beach hindi naman ganun kainit.

^ thanks sis! it's in Karangasem Bali. yung isang resort na ppuntahan namin i guess wala naman problem kasi sa ubud mukhang foggy foggy yung area nung hotel so i guess malamig...? tee hee!

Hi, how did you guys arrange your Bali honeymoon? package nyo naba kinuha or kayo nakipag communicate sa mga hotels? And magkano kaya dapat budget for this, for 3 days 4 nights? One last, okay kaya dun ng January?

Sis yn061515, actually plan din namin January, but may nagbanggit na nga sabi sakin na usually maganda ang weather sa bali pag medyo parainy days na satin. so like what sis kccllj said, perfect ang July so baka imove nalang namin. willing naman muna mag HK or any local desti si h2b muna before bali.

as for me sis, freestyle yung gagawin ko na itinerary. tee hee! may mga contacts naman na din sakin na binigay yung friend ko. i think better din kasi pag sariili mong itinerary para chillax chillax lang. no budget in particular pa sis
