Sis mahal talaga hotels if you get ones in good locations na madali puntahan or malapit sa center. Ours was on average 10k a night masayang masaya na kami sa location and room quality. We spent about 450k for two people, in 3 weeks, but that included some shopping, lots of moving around via trains and we booked about 5 tours.

My brother was in Japan a couple of months ago. He found apartments through airbnb. It's much cheaper I think.

I just want to go to Japan for 2 things -- food and experiencing snow fall.

^^ It very rarely snows in Tokyo and Osaka in December (or kahit buong winter, actually). If you really want snowfall I suggest you drop by other regions like Hokkaido or Nagano.

Yes. We plan to go to Hokkaido. Siguro we will go in Feb so we can go to Sapporo for the Snow Festival.

future MIL and SIL are based in Rome. so ako, sobrang hoping na maggift sila samin ni h2b ng Eurotrip. haha. kaso, syempre pangarap ko lang yun. libre naman. hehe. So, incase man na hindi, dun kami sa cheaper option muna. hehe. I was thinking multi-city tour in SEA. okay ba kaya? okay din ang bali and the like, para relaxation ang peg. also, baka 1-2weeks lang din ang kaya naming i-leave sa work.

Has anyone honeymoon-ed in Dubai? Because of the Cathay travel sale in Shang last weekend, we're suddenly going to Dubai first! I need recommendations on sourcing hotels since they seem expensive (yung cheap parang shady naman). And if Airbnb's are legal bec my husband heard they are not.  Apart from The Palm and World Islands, Burj Khalifa nad Burj Al Arab, sand dunes and the Dubai Mall, is there anything else to see/ do? We're going this Dec already. TIA!

My top pick for our honeymoon next year (September) is either New Zealand or Australia. It´s the tailend of their winter  so perfect for us yung weather.  Still balancing the costs, kasi I think mas cheap sa Australia (NSW and Victoria) because madali ang land travel,  pero nakavisit na ako there, so mas excited ako sa NZ, kaya lang reading back parang mas expensive if NZ because of plane fares to/fro different islands.

April 18, 2017 - Tagaytay Bride here. We are planning a Maldives honeymoon, I have researched a LOT na haha parang mas excited ako sa honeymoon ata. Based kami abroad, sa Qatar kaya same month, actually after 2 days fly na kami ng Maldives haha!

@LilaFowler, ok mag Sapporo this coming Feb. The 2017 Asian Winter Games is scheduled on Feb 17-26th. Inisip din namin dun mag honeymoon, since our wedding is Feb din. But we've been to Japan twice already. Para maiba naman daw.

We are thinking of going to Bali or Korea. I'm leaning more towards Bali, para mas relax lang. I love the villas with private pools sa Seminyak area. Anyone here who already went there?

May travel fair pala this coming weekened, Oct 7-9 sa SMX, if anyone is interested.

I had more or less the same feeling when we checked skydiving rates... 26k per person. Haha naiisip ko, may pang shop til you drop pa kaya ako if i do this too? )) Parang ang mahal for a few minutes lang and of course add to all the other expenses, mahal pala sa Dubai.
