Sim card replacement/ reactivation

Hi mga sis!

Let's talk about our experience in reactivating or having a sim card replaced.

Based on personal experience, sun prepaid sims cannot be replaced or reactivated. We have zero signal for sun in our house. Sa gabi lang pumapasok lahat ng messages ko so i am not regularly using my sun number much less reload prepaid credits. Sayang lang because  i forgot that months went by without reloading.  Anyone here na nakahabol pa? Sayang kasi may signal pa, i think this can be still reactivated in their system (feeling ko lang pwede pa dapat kasi di pa naka block nun chineck).

my globe sim for 12 yrs just died on me last october. bigla nalang nawalan ng signal for some reason. so i went to globe service center and had it replaced. they just asked for 2 valid ids and filled out a very basic form. they asked if i have some important messages and contacts stored in the sim kasi they don't do backing up. ayun i just waited for an hour (at most, if i remember it correctly) paid 50pesos then got my new sim, same number. they took the old faulty sim. they just prompt me to wait for the message saying the sim is already activated. same day lang din. mabilis lang no hassle, with my experience.

Kaloka ang Sun. I had my sim replaced, from micro sim to nano sim. When we had it changed, sabi we will just wait when the signal will be gone then it means activated na ang new sim. This will take daw within 24 hrs. After more than 24 hrs, we called for follow up, sabi, within 48 hrs naman daw.  >:(hay naku Sun!
