Hello! Aside from pinoyinoz blogspot, what other baking blogs do you follow? Preferably Pinoy blogs pero pwede rin naman non Pinoy. I just started baking again (baked a lemon cake and a chocolate cake) and would love to learn more. Thanks!

^Not necessarily a blog but what I do is to check James Beard Award which happens every year and check who the winners are then check some recipes of them online. So far, my favorite is Joanne Chang and I invested on her recipe books.

I guess it also depends on what kind of food you like to bake? Cookies? Cakes? Pastries? Because most bakers will also have their specialty.

^I also like Joanne Chang! Lalo her recipe of her famous sticky buns. I think she?s a very kind and nice person pa.

I like baking bread more than cakes and pastries, so I follow bread bakers mostly, and invest in their books.

But online I check posts of  David Lebovitz, Yummy Ph, Fine Cooking (ang okay ng mga recipes sa site na ito), Serious Eats (for Stella Park?s and Kenji Lopez-Alt?s recipes) .  For filipino tinapays, my husband gave me the Panaderia book na andun an lahat yung panaderia breads, so ito lang ginagamit ko.

Thank you so much. I enjoy making cakes, and the usual brownies and cookies. I also want to try my hand at making local delicacies hehe.

May Joaane Chang din pala ditto. Yay! She seems very nice nga and she is smart. She graduated from Harvard! Fan talaga ako. I've had successes talaga on her recipes. Yun nga lang matrabaho talaga.
