Tapos na yung ultrasound ko.
napansin ko, nagstabilize na yung heart rate ni baby. nasa 140+ na lang sya lagi.

Ultrasound @ 20wks
HR : 145bpm
Adequate amniotic fluid
EFW: 350 grams (+/- 50 grams)
Breech position
placenta posterofundal grade 1
re: sa size niya, late yung sa FL(femur length). 19w2d [textspeak!] sya , yung ibang parameters, 21wks. Nagaalala ko dito. pero nagbabasa basa ako, wag masyado magalala, yung iba humahabol naman. baka yung angle nung mineasure. etc. Wala namang ninote yung sono regarding don.


Ask ko na rin si OB tomorrow. tomorrow ko pa sakanya ipapakita. Ayun.. Kayo Kumusta? Balitaan niyo ko sa scans niyo!

^Wow, baby boy! Congrats sis!

Nag lurker mode ako the past days, basa mode lang ako ng updates nyo mga sis, masakit kasi yung kamay ko. Went to ortho para maconfirm kung carpal tunnel syndrome nga ito at tama nga ako. I know meron na ako nito dati pa dahil sa nature ng work ko, pero never namaga at namanhid ng bongga. Pero ngayon na preggy ako, hay grabe parusa lalo paggising sa umaga. Maga both hands, hirap mag grip or close fist. Nawawala naman after few hours pero iba pa rin feeling. Nangyayari naman daw talaga ito sa mga preggies, pero I think dito sa batch natin ako lang ang meron haha. Binigyan ako 3 options ng ortho - steroids, surgery, therapy. Syempre I opted for the last one kasi ito yung walang contraindication sa akin. 8 sessions ang kailangan, done with the first session yesterday at OK naman except the paraffin part, nalapnos yung balat ko sa init nung wax. Parang may nabasa ako before na masama sa buntis yung nasasaktan kasi nagttrigger ng contractions. Pero sabi nung PT hindi naman daw makakasama sa buntis.. paranoid mode nanaman ako.

we asked our doctor regarding the stabbing pains i feel especially on the right side of my tummy, she said there's nothing to worry about and it's normal. it's caused by my uterus going up the abdomen and it's stretching the ligaments around the area.

^^Thank you sis! Bukod sa exercises meron din paraffin. Hindi ko akalain na ang sakit sakit pala. Next visit ko sasabihin ko dun sa PT na nalapnos yung balat ko. Nagkaron nga ng red patches, buti nawala naman after few hours. Kahit nandito lang ako sa bahay nag eexercise na ako para mabilis gumaling, ayaw ko na sana nung paraffin.

btw, may naka-schedule or nabigyan na ng tetanus vaccine sa iyo? naka-schedule nga pala ko sa next OB check-up ko, gusto ko lang malaman kung common ba na binibigay to sa ating mga buntis.

i got tetanus + anti-rabies shots about 2-3 weeks before we conceived because i was accidentally bitten by our dog. it's just like any other injection/vaccination that i got before

Hello everyone! Ang tagal kong nawala, husband and I had our city break last weekend then super antok ako this week, hindi ako nakapag-girltalk.

aNgelofThEMorning Hindi naman nirecommend dito ang tetanus vaccine. Flu vaccine ang recommended sa amin although hindi na din ako nag-take.

Tomorrow na ang anatomy scan ko, i'm excited! I told my husband earlier na dati i feel more anxious pang doctor's appointment, now i'm more excited na.  I guess dahil now I have the bump and I feel movements na din in my tummy.   I am 22 weeks and 1 day today. Hope everything is well kay baby.  I have decided na I will not ask for the gender tomorrow, kung later on maisipan ko na alamin pwede naman pa-scan ulit.

Pains - I also have that pain sa ilalim ng puson madalas pag full bladder nga.  Nung weekend dahil puro lakad kami ni hubby may time na sumakit din, so pahinga na lang. My officemate told me its normal and tinuruan nya din ako tumayo. Sabi nya support daw ng hands ko pag tatayo ako, huwag basta-basta tayo dahil mabigat na din ang tummy natin. Also pag babangon daw sa bed, mag-slide tapos unahin na ilagay ang paa sa floor para may support na.

Kwento lang, natatawa ako sa asawa ko, they change no?  Like last weekend, normally from an airport we get the metro or public transport to our hotel, last weekend he asked kung gusto ko daw ba mag-taxi. haha.. never talaga ito nagta-taxi kase waste of money daw. syempre grab the opportunity, nag-taxi kami. hihi.. and then recently he was telling me things/activities he will give up daw para sure na may time sya kay baby. naaliw lang ako.

i also experience stabbing pains. minsan lang. Pati yung paninigas ng tummy, nafifeel ko padin. magpapareseta na ko ng meds kay dra para don. Wala kasi siyang binigay, she's not bothered with mild contractions at all. pero kasi nagising ako nung madaling araw dahil sa dogs, napansin ko matigas tummy ko. ayoko na sana ng ganon, baka naman nasstress ang baby ko.

----nagkakarashes ako it looks like nagsstart ako magkaron ng PUPPP. Try niyo search girls. nabasa ko common siya pag boy ang baby tas 1st pregnancy. Though di naman lahat ng preggy nagkakaganon. At first kala ko insect bites lang. pero biglang nadagdagan. may kakilala ako na may puppp, pinakita niya yung photo nung nagsisimula palang yung rashes, at parang ganun  sakin. Wag na sana tumuloy....at wag na sana dumami. very itchy talaga...... pero as long as wala naman effect kay baby kaya ko naman tiisin. pero sana talaga......

^^ puppp pala tawag dun, nakita ko yan sa bestfriend ko dati ang puti pa naman nya grabeh pulang pula yung tyan nya. Sana wag tumuloy sis. Ako mabilis mangati skin ko mulang nung nabuntis, konting  kagat lang or may dumi yung bed nangangati na ko tapos kakamutin ko naman, ayun may maliliit ako na sugat. Katabi ko nga sa bed, alcohol at baby oil.

Just came from my check-up w/ doc. 16 weeks today. Thank God my cervix lengthened to 4cm (was funnelling at 2.3cm) and my amniotic fluid at normal levels. I've been so paranoid especially last 2 days because I could feel some light spasms but wasn't sure if that was pregnancy related or because I've been constipated. Plus 2 days ago I started feeling watery discharge creeping down (not a lot na dripping). My appointment was next week but I was so scared I went to see doctor na. Ladies, please don't hesitate at all to go see your doctor or the hospital right away. My previous check-up for yellowish/brown spotting, I went immediately and was diagnosed to be have cervical incompetence but doctor said still early and might still lengthen with bed rest (which it did). I'm so so relieved! I was awake till 3am yesterday from worry.

Update ko lang sa scan ko. All looks good daw. Wala naman problem na nakita. Size is okay din for my EDD. and for the first time hubby and I heard the baby's heartbeat!

My placenta daw is in front kaya hindi ko pa daw maramdaman talaga ang movement ng baby. Sabi ko i can feel mga flutters lang sa tummy and parang may gumagalaw, sabi nya normal nga dahil sa placenta.

yummymummy  -  buti naman okay ang check up mo sis! onga pala may nakalagay ba na value don sa Amniotic fluid mo nung normal na sya? Saka nung naglow, ano yung value nya? ano nakalagay sis, yan din kasi binabantayan ko kahit di naman ako low. Nakalagay sakin adequate amniotic fluid naman. ano daw yung watery discharge na yun sis?

has anyone heard of alpha thalassemia trait before? my blood test just came back and the report says I may have this. the doctor has requested for my husband to get a blood test as well, which we did today.

from what I read, this is a genetic blood disorder. being a carrier, I don't feel anything at all. however, if my husband has the same trait, our baby has a 25% chance of having a severe blood disorder

we're praying my husband doesn't have it since his ancestry isn't from one of those races that have this trait. apparently, mediterraneans, Africans, Arabs, southeast Asians have a predisposition to this trait.

on a happy note, my first batch of grovia cloth diapers arrived today!they are so cute! we did a little practice test on our teddy bear and found it easy to use. looking forward to our blueberry diapers

sis which is witch, try to put something cooling on your rashes. I found that to be helpful since I also have very dry itchy skin right now. my doctor gave me a Korean brand lotion for it.

^ sis, they did a blood test - complete blood count and that's where they saw it. i think when they saw there was an indicator for ATT, they did additional tests on my blood. yes, we are praying everything will be okay. my husband's ancestry is irish-german so we're banking on that right now.

yup, I guess for first-time moms, there is all this fear and doubt about whether our pregnancies are going okay and how the baby is doing. my husband's older brother advised us to look at it as a normal life event and not treat it like a disease and that we shouldn't worry too much. we try but it's hard!
