^sis simang i read nga about that dito sa GT, na if you are married sa church, you have to be annuled twice. Pero i dont want to offend her kasi or irritate her like what's doing to me kaya i never said anything about that. Pero naiirita na kasi ako kasi she's my workmate and i get to see her every single day and whenever we talk about weddings at work, always niyang binabanggit yan. Lol.

^sis rowan i dont want to think about that na she's just insecure but she seems like it kasi when h2b proposed parang nainggit siya. All of my workmates were asking about the weddinv ganyan, pero siya dedma. Hahaha. I want to get back to her nga about her opinion about being married civiling or sa church without sounding annoyed. Maybe by saying "yes you and your hubby maybe richer than h2b and I but he wants to give me the best wedding he could possibly give" or "hindi naman ibubuhos lahat ni h2b ang pera niya sa wedding lang"

May food tasting ka with caterer. Magschedule ka ng pre nup nyo. Samahan mo magfit ang entourage. Magppractice pa kayo ng first dance. At may meeting pa kayo ng emcee mo at coordinator. Haist. Kainis yung friend mo na yan. Hahaha ;)

Sabihan mo @mikky21.

Bakit di na lang maging masaya for the couple?

Anyway, sa isang homily nabanggit ng priest dito sa SG na nireremind nya ang mga couples na civil married that the church doesn't recognize this (lalo na if nagsasama na kayo). Dapat padin daw kumuha ng sacrament of matrimony tayong mga Katoliko. Hindi kailangang bongga as long as may basbas ng simbahan.

Maybe other sissies can comment about this.

^ hi sis toria, i heard opposing views - my husband's older brother, who was a seminarian, said that the Catholic church does recognize civil marriages but he's american; then i heard from other people that being only civilly married is not accepted by the church, mainly from filipinos. so i'm not really sure. however, when we were interviewed by the parish priest for our church wedding, we admitted that we were living together because we were already civilly married for a year and they didn't have any comments.

^^ sis mikky21, i guess the best thing to do is "in one ear, out the other" and just avoid talking about anything wedding-related with your friend.

^^sa pagkaintindi ko, the Catholic Church has a separate 'registry' of marriages. So kung wala talagang ceremony sa church, then the wedding is not listed sa church, kaya hindi sya 'recognized'. Parang ganun lang yun, i'm not sure though. Pero as far as i know, if civilly married ang couple, iba din ang requirements ng church.

^^ yung sister ko nag Ninang sa civil wedding last week. They got married civily muna para maayos na yung papers nung wife to follow sa Australia. Ang cute lang kasi yung parents ng girl ayaw pang payagang magsama as husband & wife yung girl until mag church wedding sila next year. Maski overnight after nung ceremony wala daw.

Anyways, dagdag lang.. I had this convo with 1 person so it's not something I kept on hearing but it was annoying nonetheless.

She greeted me on my birthday (few weeks ago) & was asking about my Despedida de Soltera. I was like you're not even invited to my wedding in my head but instead I told her I don't know what are the plans of my family & malayo pa my wedding. She was like no dapat your last single birthday is your Despedida de Soltera & kept on insisting that I make my day special daw. I was again (in my head) my family always makes my birthdays special, sorry if yours doesn't. She then went on to say that she's throwing herself her own Despedida de Soltera on her birthday to claim that it will be her last single birthday. Ugh. Annoying. More like Desperada de Soltera.

Hahaha. Pero i never did.

December 2016 bride here!

I'm tired of hearing these:

- Ang tagal pa pala, maghihiwalay pa kayo.

- Yung ganito na lang kasi mas ok. (Which is booked na kami)

Will try to back read soon. :) mukhang interesting dito. :)

So far, ito pa lang ang annoying words/bagay na naencounter ko since we got engaged and ngayon na wedding preps:

Future MIL's response to my fiance, when he was trying to come up with the guest list sa side nila, since malaking clan sila: "Bakit pa kailangan may specific number of heads na allocated per family?

Nag enjoy akong basahin to.
May 2016 bride here.

Share ko lang yung sakin although honestly sa ngayon di pa naman ako napipikon ng bongga since close friends and part sila kung bakit lumakas loob ni Fiance na ligawan ulit ako. :P
Syempre yung ibang Guys sesegundahan yun.
Hahaha!!! ;D ;D ;D

hahahaha this is the most bentang thread for me now. Tawang tawa ako kay corpse_bride. Exactly what I would reply in my head too. I just have a couple for now

" Gusto ko din pamakeup sa MUA mo?" - (deep inside) Bride kba?
"Di ako kumakain ng beef at pork ha - So!
Alam niyo wag kayo pakasal ng December kase pagod na mga suppliers - This came from a famous stylist. I almost uttered bakit kinukulang kba ng tanim na bulaklak or nahihirapan kang mamitas? Ano jan???

Seriously what is wrong with these people ???

Buti na lang when we were prepping wala akong mga narinig na ganito. Most likely naman these people who say/ask these things, they don't mean to offend you or stir up your preparations, (except maybe mikky's friend lol) pero I understand how stressful can it be for brides to consider everyone's opinions. Kaya the best thing to do is to dedma. Haha!

Situation at home: Dad comes with tons of chocolates and says: " Your cousin arrived from the states and sent you all this! Don't forget to say 'Thank you' to her, but don't eat any of it you're gonna get fat and wedding is near."

Mom comes homes and says: " I bought ensaymada and pizza for everyone. Get some!" Then when I start getting food... "Hey, magtira ka sa kapatid mo! Malapait na wedding mo! Tataba ka"

LOL!!!! Nakakainis------ comment ng comment about me going on a diet pero naman our house is full of junk food and bili naman ng bili ng kung ano ano.

And the more they remind me to watch what I eat, the more I want to eat everything kasi nakakainis!!!!!!!

Just this Sunday, my husband and I visited my parents and the first thing my Lolo tells me is, "you've put on weight!"

Fine, I gained 5 lbs since the wedding but it isn't that noticeable compared to how much I lost. Nakakainis nga ang pinoy culture. Talking about weight is such a personal matter!
