^thanks sis. may nakita nga akong photo from a blog. ang sikip nga ng beds nila for 3 adults. tsk. I am now considering citylight hotel. Near sa cathedral, session road and affordable naman yung with veranda nila.

Question lang sa mga nasa baguio ngayon, mainit na po ba? wala kasi aircon yung rooms sa citylight.

^Sis but up to 4 pax per room. Two queen size beds kasi ang room nila. Pero mag-add ka ng 750 per pax (kasama ang breakfast). Last weekend yung isang room namin with 3 pax of adults plus 1 kid. Kasi party of 6 kami. Kaming mag-asawa solo ang isang room.

Good luck sa hotel hunting mo. I suggest you do it super early kasi ang daming fully booked na hotels.

Sis to add sa question mo, noong Monday pauwi namin mainit init na. Pero sa gabi naman noong Sabado and Sunday malamig na malamig pa din lalo na dun sa SM Baguio. Hahahaha

Sorry naman, now ko lang nabasa post mo.. 

Anyway, we din't go to strawberry farm that time, kasi late na sinabi ni tita she wanted to visit the place.. Although, good thing nakahanap kami ng taxi that we were able to rent for 1500 (9 hours, from8-5).. Yung mga naunang cab drivers, ayaw nila.. bec the rate during peak season daw is 300 pesos an hour. So gusto nila 6 hours lang. When we mentioned to the last cab driver that we were only 3 (matanda pa yung isa)and we wont take long sa mga pasyalan (konting picture and sight seeing-that's it). We also enumerated the places we want to go to. First would be Mines View then Mansion (tas meet nalang niya sana kami sa Wright Park. Kasi fr Mansion we could walk down going to Wright Park) pero si tita umayaw na. So ang nangyari, from Mines View, visited St Joseph Church (near Wright Park), then Botanical Garden then John HAy. After lunch, our last stop was Mount Costa in La Trinidad.

Inabot pa rin kami ng almost 9 hours kasi nag tagal kami sa John Hay and Mount Costa. Plus traffic, specially going to Mines View. Good thing we thought of renting a cab narin, kasi pahirapan kumuha ng taxi that time.

On top of the 1500, we paid for kuya's lunch and offered him snacks as well.

And please, I beg if we could put our litter in the garbage cans provided properly, or keep it muna pag wala kayo nakita. Nakaka lungkot lang, kasi ang daming basura.

I grew up in Baguio, and It just saddens me to see a lot of trash scattered everywhere. Im not saying, it's all of the tourist's fault, but most often than not -it is..

Thanks Sis swtgrl_bee. Okay na. Nagreply na sakin si City Center Hotel. yung nasa session road mismo. ito talaga first option ko kasi laging sold out sa mga booking sites. buti nacontact ko sila. fortunately, 1 room left nalang sila this weekend. ang mura grabe. plus with aircon na esp now na summer baka kailanganin din namin yun hehe.

Yes you can sis.. siguro you can mention nalang that he was recommended by us. (we were 3. he might remember that part of our IT was to go to Mount Costa.this was during Holy Week)

^thanks sis. I will consider na magrent ng cab. Worried lang ako na baka mamadali kami from one place to another. Mejo kabisado ko pa naman ang baguio since tumira ako dun. hopefully lang di masyado madaming tao this weekend para mahirapan mag-cab.

btw, maganda ba sa mount costa? worth it ba puntahan?

I think it'll be more convenient sis if you rent specially it rains in the afternoon.. well depende din sa IT ninyo and usapan ninyo ni kuya. Set expectations nalang and inform him in advance siguro if you'll be staying longer in a certain place.

Mount Costa is a lovely place if you're into flowers.  When we went there, some of the other areas is still being developed. 300 pesos of entrance fee is not sulit that time. hahaha! plus the fact na malayo talaga siya. Although malawak talaga yung place. By this time siguro maganda na talaga dun.

Hi mga sis, baka naman may makapag recommend sa inyo ng cheap pero maayos naman kahit pano na hotel or transient or anything hehe. Biglaan kasi lakad namin, may 19-21. Nahihilo na ko kaka google lol!

Bale 2 nights kami sa baguio, 6 pax plus 1 toddler. Budget is around 2k-3k per night. Yung may parking sana. I tried cosfort pero hangang 10pm lang daw sila nag aacceppt ng guests. Eh late na kami makakarating, around midnight.

Hi Girls. Just went home from our super quick weekend getaway in Baguio. Grabe, at least di pa rin kami binigo ni Baguio. ibang iba pa din ang lamig ng hangin dun. When I stayed there for years kasi, may time din na sobrang init talaga. hehe. Unfortunately, tag-ulan na dun esp sa hapon. Buti nalang at pag night market time na tumila na ang ulan. yipee. i scored super cheap items.

We dont bother going to Mount Costa na. since maulan na din talaga maybe next time nalang.  But we rent a cab pa-bencab museum. Glad we did. Parang ang hirap kasi magcommute dun hehe.

Regarding accommodation, I highly recommend City Center Hotel along session road. Napakastrategic ng location plus relatively new hotel pa sya so, rooms are super okay for me plus affordavble pa. rooms are all w/ AC (incase lang na naiinitan pa din kayo pagdating sa hotel, like me), all with windows para may view ka ng city. We got the corner room facing the session road so, todo abang ako sa night market (across the hotel) on our first night, baka kako kasi walang night market kasi umulan. also, very accommodating ang staffs. Though hindi sila ang tumulong sakin to surprise my mom on mother's day, they recommended someone naman. So good na din. Okay din ang Beans Talk lagi nga ang daming tao. I just highly recommend to book the hotel at least a week before since lagi ata silang fully booked.

Sis try mo sa Ina Mansion just in front of Burnham Park, There are condo units with 2 rooms that can accomodate as big as 2 families or more.

Hi sis, open ang Cafe in the Sky but you have to let them know you're coming kasi the guys down the mountain will charge you 600 pesos para ihatid kayo sa taas kahit may sasakyan or taxi kayo. If you inform Cafe in the Sky they will pick you up. Hassle lang talaga.
