I'm a pageant enthusiast and I cried my heart out when she was announced as the winner. She joined Binibining Pilipinas for three consecutive times before she won the right to represent our country. Everything she has worked hard for has finally paid off. I'm so happy for her victory!  Her passion and perseverance is admirable

Lasing naman pala yung host..so obvious naman..IMO, There should be no room for mistakes especially for a prestigious event like Miss U..grabe..inaabangan kaya yun lahat ang announcement kung sino ang mananalo...It could be an inside job too since iba na ang naghandle ng Miss U..sabi nila gawa gawa yun ni Donald Trump..Anyways, Pia deserves the crown..galing ng mga sagot niya..so safe yet straight..

Mas naawa ako kay Pia kasi parang nakafocus na lahat kay Colombia kung ano ang magiging reaction niya.

I don't know. I thought nag maintenance ang GT kasi ilang hours ako di naka-log in. May error daw. Nung nakalog in na ako, wala na yung mga posts. Di lang naman iyong thread at mga posts sa showbiz update nadelete. May mga posts din sa ibang boards ang nadelete na walang kinalaman sa miss u. Mga posts na nipost mula morning ng dec 21 until kaninang madaling araw. Nagkaproblem siguro.

Back to topic, watch nyo IG ni miss colombia. Nawala na awa ko sa kanya. She posted a pic of herself na suot ang crown. Halatang bitter kay pia.

Yeh..nasa news yan kagabi..she posted nga yung nasa kanya pa ang crown..mas lalong nagmukhang kawawa..hahha..then nahalata din ng mga bakla sa news ng lumapit sa kanya si Pia bigla siyang tumalikod parang ayaw ibigay ang crown...haha

When Pia won Bb. Pilipinas Universe, I was like "Ok, she FINALLY won." I wasn't betting that she'd do good based on her performance lang nung pageant dito sa atin. But when she started doing interviews prior to Ms. Universe, I saw a change in her - a transformation. She looked stunning, she looked ready, and she looked hungry for the crown. I saw a hunger in her that I didn't see in the ladies that came before her. And that's when I knew we may actually have a chance at the crown!

During the pageant night, kitang-kita ang pag-angat ni Pia over the others. Even without the fan voting, Pia was nailing every single round - to the point na imposibleng di mapansin talaga. And sure, Colombia was pretty and fierce too - but she was very much like any other traditional beauty pageant candidate. And man she was cocky. May yabang factor. Perez Hilton, one of the judges said it best "Philippines came there to win, Colombia came there to lose. She (Colombia) thinks she's already won it."

Indeed! And he also mentioned sa podcast na talagang all four of them judges chose Pia as their winner. Unanimously. Imagine that. So all those crazy theories based on hearsay or this and that snapchat whatever - are immaterial unless proven authentic. That's four votes from judges. Even if Pia lost the other two (global/online and fellow candidates'), she still had those four very important votes. Although the online voting, pasok sa banga na sa tin yan hindi pa man nagsisimula ang pageant. Hahahahaha!

I posted this in the other thread last night...
I heard the girls weren't happy daw with Pia because they found out the online plan to sabotage all other contestants.  I read there were stategies like give Pia a 10 and all the others a 1 to pull down their scores.  It makes sense somehow why they didn't vote for Pia.   Kasalanan ng ibang netizens,  tama bang mag plot online.

But not Pia's fault, she deserved to win. 
She was deprived of her moment and her walk lang nga.

Halerr..obvious naman sa question and answer talagang nagstand out si Pia..e sila may interpreter pa..paikot ikot lang ang sagot..Colombia's answer was like..ok Fine..moving on..haha

books_mags: But why did they have to hate on Pia? It obviously wasn't her doing. And man, the online vote is just ONE vote. There were 4 judges pa to impress. Even if we bring in millions of votes, if she didn't bring the goods, waley pa din.

^i wouldn't be able to explain why they don't like Pia. It's a competition and girls can be at their meanest in any competition. 

I can only guess na if the same thing was done to us and we are aware of the sabotage, emotions wiill run high too. Sana lang kasi we just voted for Pia, no plan for sabotage.  And now that i think about it, the time the winner was announced, the contestants were not aware that all judges voted for Pia.  Siguro they were still thinking it was because of the planned sabotage.

I didn't realize may voting sabotage pala being discussed online...tsk tsk tsk.  Buti na lang Pia was able to deliver in all categories during the pageant, esp. when she nailed the question and answer portion.  Congrats again Pia!!!

Same here, didn't know about that either. Been reading about Miss U since yesterday and ngayon ko lang ito napag-alaman. San galing ang news sis?

Anyways, whether they liked her or not, whether there was a  'planned sabotage' they heard about or not - what some of the other girls showed in the vids is terrible. Sorry but no matter how high the emotions are running, that's not justification to shoo someone aside  the way they did to Pia.

I'm glad we have our 3rd Miss Universe queen! Congrats Ms. Pia Wurtzbach!

And I read somewhere na alam ng mga contestants that there's something wrong sa winners dahil they can see daw sa teleprompter na ‘Philippines, please take your first walk as Miss Universe’. And nag-release na ng statement and Miss Universe-Germany that their representative didn't mean to offend Pia nor the FIlipinos daw. I ws like, 'Yeah right, whatever'.

Anyway, na-delete nga yung thread yesterday, mukhang lahat ng activity dito sa GT yesterday, naglaho.

I did see a post in FB about voting online but I wouldn't call it sabotage.  It was only saying that we shouldn't give ratings that are too low to the other contestants kasi it will forfeit the vote.  Also, it was mentioned to "spread" the votes to the other girls na hindi masyadong threat.  Actually parang katatawanan nga lang yung post eh.  Beking-beki so I honestly don't think that's the reason why the others seem to "hate" Pia.  Feeling ko threatened lang talaga ang Latinas sa mga Pinay.  Insecurity, plain and simple.  Nakahanap ng excuse to bring on the hate.  Buti nalang pinagtatanggol si Pia ng mga judges.  I just hope she stops apologizing kasi wala naman siyang kasalanan no.

Pia doesn't deserve all the hate that she's getting from the Latino community. It's not her fault na nagkamali si Steve Harry ng pag announce ng winner. I still kinda haven't moved on to be honest kasi Pia's crowning moment was taken away from her. Her momentum was ruined because of Steve pero on the brighter side, sobrang epic and historic nung pagkapanalo niya dahil nung mix up thingy kaya di siya basta basta makakalimutan ng mga tao.

Tapos naloka ako kasi yung mga Colombians talaga ay bitter to the point na mag file ng lawsuit sa Miss Universe Org
