Emergency fund (equals to 3mos vuls payment and 3mos condo payment) Parang malabo mangyari ito ngayon taon :P
Buy a condo unit - done (started May 2016)
Top up in 3 mutual funds monthly
Angel invest

Sis, maybe you can join sa MFT yung kay Mica Tan ( http://mftgroup.com.ph/ )
Or you may invest sa mga projects ng Citihub (sila yung owner nung mga apartment na container van sa Mandaluyong). Crowdfunding naman tong citihub and all transactions eh thru Kapendasal Cooperative. Join ka sa FB group na citihub.

I joined naman last Nov. 2015 sa Agripreneur. http://agripreneur.ph/about/
I pledge 5K with them and when they asked for top-up hindi na ako nag-add.  I was thinking pa kase if feasible ba yung projects nila? That was the only amount that I'm willing to let go if scam man yung nasalihan ko hehe

Then I received an e-mail last month that they give na the half-year payout which is 20%.

eto yung e-mail nila

Dear Agripreneurs,

Good day!

This is to inform you of the scheduled payout for the private venture:
Schedule: Whole month of June 2016

The payout return for half-year is 20%.

How to Compute:
Your payout will be as follows:

Example:
Your contribution is Php100,000.
Php100,000 x 20% = Php20,000

You will receive:
Php10,000 on June 2016
Php110,000 on December 2016 (end of private venture).

This means that your total capital will be Php120,000.

Is Agripreneur affected by SEC-FarmOn issue?
Please note that incorporation is ongoing for Agripreneur Corporation.
However, to exercise transparency, we are giving our farm partners two
(2) options:

Option A: Pull-out capital and receive half-year payout return.
Option B: Will keep the contract in force until December 2016 (end of
contract).

IMPORTANT: PLEASE RESPOND WITH YOUR CHOICE OF OPTION BEFORE JUNE 20.

Any farm updates?
1)      While the official website has been set aside to prioritize the
incorporation works, the farms have been fully nurtured and operational.

2)      Ongoing talks to acquire more farmlands.

3)      Soon to grow diverse crops such as cacao, coffee, as well as
venturing into farm tourism.

Thank you and looking forward to a continued partnership with you.

Not bad di ba?
But remember that, invest at your own risk.

I just knew those thru FB group : Filipino Financial Freedom Forum

Hi sissies. Very helpful yung thread na to. Share ko lang, I actually attended a free seminar sa work ni hubby. They are teaching people from the basic (like how to save every month), how to grow your hard-earned money and down to Estate Planning... Sobrang laki ng naitulong kasi kung ako lang yun baka sa bank lang ang money ko. E alam naman natin na magkano lang ang growth pag sa bank, almost wala na nga. So ayun nakatulong talaga in terms of handling our finances. Kasi step by step na tinuturo. So far we have emergency funds na, vul and mutual funds. The good thing pa is every time we put money, merong bumabalik sa amin as commission. So parang naging money manager na kami of our own money. :)

^marami nang nangyari since sa  1st post ko sa thread na ito nung December 2015.

-we have moved into our new house (mortgaged for 15 years).

> paid 20% dp for the house+ move in fee+ bank charges
>bought some basic appliances and some furniture for the house

-i have delivered my baby and she is 2/12 months old already.
>ready ang baby fund namin kaya walang naging problema.

In fact, continuous ang hulog namin sa mutual fund account namin for our baby.

Narealize ko na masyado pala abstract at long term ang mga sinulat ko dun sa naunang post ko so habol pa ako ng more specific financial goals for the year:

1. Save money to pay for house transfer
2. Bayaran ang utang namin sa mommies namin. 50k+35k
3. Start na ulit ang pag build up ng emergency fund
4. Start another mutual fund account for our retirement naman.
5. Save 10k for christmas gifts.:)

Ber months na! Time to check out my goals

For 2016, our goals are:

1. Increase Emergency Fund from 4 months to 6 months. 2015 goal ko yun and sadly hindi ko nagawa. Kaya tuloy lang sa 2016.

2. Maintain a minimum for our baby fund. We started a baby fund this year when I got pregnant, just for the projected expenses for delivery and first few months. Would like to have a baby fund just for the baby's needs (binyag, 1st bday party etc)

3. Open baby's own account.

4. Buy our first family car with at least 70% down payment. Pay the balance within a year.

5. Increase funds in existing investments.

Yun muna. Good luck to us all!

1. Increase emergency savings - CHECK, but instead of placing in savings account,
I put in an investment fund.

2. Maintain minimum funds in baby fund - CHECK, but like our EF, I just invested more in
our existing investment funds.

3. Open account for baby - CHECK! Opened an in-trust-for account for my baby

4. Buy first car - ON HOLD

5. Increase funds in existing investments - CHECK!

*6. Support a charity - ON HOLD. Guilty. Will revisit this next year.

New to-do before 2017.
Fix allocation of funds (put more in less risky investments)

Updating what I wrote last December 2015:

My financial goals for 2016:
BPI Maxi Saver- Have 200K---- Done, thank You Lord!
BPI Save Up- 100K (for emergency fund na hindi gagalawin)-- Re-starting
CTBC Passbook- 100K (for overseas savings and emergency fund)-- 20K to go!
COL- Did not really invest in stocks this year, hopefully I can set aside 50K-- 35K to go!
Mutual Fund- Add another 50K-- 20K more!

Four more months to accomplish our goals :)
Continue with VUL and critical illness plan payments

Less than 4 months before 2016 ends. Ang goal ko lang bago matapos this year is to clear all my debts. Nasira yung budget ko huhuhu. Pero I'm eager to be debt free para 2017 eh clean slate na.

For 2016:
1.   We are targeting to complete our EF. - 2months pa lang, sana macomplete na namin 6months
2.   Makakuha na ng VUL by 2nd quarter. - sana by 4th quarter makakuha na

After 2 months update ko sa financial goals. Yes! Meron na kami VUL. EF namin 3 months worth pa lang. Sana bago matapos taon macomplete na namin 6months worth of EF.

52-week savings updated kami. First time ko yata makakacomplete ng 52-weeks challenge.

I am thankful that we were able to reach our goal for 2015..for 2016,  we are hoping to reach our target savings of 2M..this means we need to regularly save at least 150 to 200k per month..hopefully ma-maintain namin

We also have to allot at least 200k for our travel fund

Update:

- our travel fund was spent for our HK tour last april

Next on the list:
- planning to buy a new family car next year
