I told myself I wasn't going to buy into this trend after being disappointed by Nyx's Soft Matte Lip Cream -- I loved the color (Stockholm), but it wears off pretty quickly and had to keep reapplying it.

then I tried Nyx's Liquid Suede (Cherry Skies) last night -- Whoa. thats some solid color. then I swatched it on my arm to see it against another lipstick.

I washed it off my lips and wrist almost immediately because I was at home anyway -- ang hirap tanggalin. Wasn't able to remove it completely, yung hindi lang ako magmumukhang paparty sa bahay.

Had dinner, washed my face, slept, woke up, washed my face, had drinks in between -- my lips are still red.

The swatch I did on my wrist, still there. Went jogging, got sweaty, took a bath -- theres still a trace on my arm right now... i swear, nag sabon ako. I'm quite impressed by this thing's staying power.

Has anyone tried Milani's Amore Matte Lip Cremes?

bought one in the shade Adorable the other day. it's a beigy nude, so when worn alone, halos walang effect sa pale lips ko. i suggest using a pink brown liner or any neutral shade under it to make the nude color stand out. just not sure with their other shades but ang dami nila colors nakakatuwa i might get another one. formula wise, okay naman, of course a bit drying, so i dab lip balm on top. one swipe lang and you're covered na. no crumbling on me. no transfer. may slight fading of course when eating oily food (i ate potato chips), sleek fades faster on me IMO. smell, okay lang din, may hint of vanilla candy. but not too strong like kylie's or jordana. i like the applicator too, not too small or long, just enough. i like din na it doesn't dry too fast like colourpop and kylie, you can control it pa for a moment on your lips before it actually dries down. dry down is faster naman than nyx SMLC. packaging very chic, hindi mukang mura lang. got mine @ 500. pwede na madami na syang laman at 6grams. but if i have to choose between milani and jordana, the cheaper jordana fares better (read somewhere milani and jordana are sister companies). although i prefer moussy liquid lippies kasi than liquidy ones. milani is also moussy (compared to the new batches of kylie lippies, which is such a big disappointment),  but for me mas gusto ko formula ni jordana.

speaking of kylie, what's up with their reformulation / repackaging nanaman? the applicator has become sh1tty, mas naging buhaghag than previous batches. and yun nga mas lalo naging runny yung consistency, and mas naging drying pa. i might just get the liners next time. sobrang disappointing.

yup. aware of the fakes. i got it from a padala from the US so i know it's legit naman. the first batch of kylie is moussy and not so drying, then it became liquidy from the 2nd batch to the next. i saw some bloggers/youtubers point this change out too. but the liners stayed the same.

oo maganda nga ofra, sobrang lightweight tsaka walang problema naman sa retouch hindi naman nagccrumble nagffade lang

Tried Jordana's sweet cream matte in creme brulee.  I love the color and formula!

so far, pinaka gusto kong shade maybelline matt12. unfortunately, flaking ang lips ko after an hour.
loreal in montaigne brick is okay din. not as drying as maybelline's.
the best i've tried is ofra. i've been looking for yung liquid lipstick na flat matt pag natuyo. what lippie is that?

^I've tried colourpop ultramatte liquid lipstick, gerard cosmetics hydramatte, and yung the balm meet matte hughes -- they dry matte but not too drying sa lips ko esp gerard cosmetics.

the other ones like loreal and rimmel have some shine kapag natuyo. these are the ones which have a balm at the other end.  Even before ko i-apply yung balm, hindi sya matte tingnan, basta may kaunting shimmer.

okay siya sis! i only have 1 shade pero based sa swatches nung saleslady sa dept. store, pigmented sita. mej drying lang pati walang staining effect pero long lasting!!! except of course if you'll eat oily food haha. ayaw ko lang yung wand nila kasi lagpas lagpas yung application ko.
