Nagstand-out si Mar sa debate kahapon.

Rape is not a joke.

Nakakahiya.

celdran's 'squatters' comment and mar's "disente" remarks, would only affect the class A&B's ego... but sounds like degrading to common people. IMO, it's a wrong PR move.

mar is a good choice, if not associated with the current administration. also, his "disente" remark does not even reflect on his wife korina. ::)

If hindi ko totally kilala si Mar, I would vote for him. A really smooth talker! Yun nga lang, his performance proves otherwise. He also said repeatedly na "plano niyo pa lang, ginagawa na ngayon yan etc."

Mar is the perfect example of a good on paper guy. Parang yung nabasa kong tweet kahapon: Mar has apparently some good ideas that he has been keeping to himself for 6 years.

And re Presidenteng pala-mura at pano kung gayahin ng mga bata, are you kidding me?? My goodness.

Telling US and Australian envoy to shut up...

Sorry but I couldn't help but comment on this.

Really? So explain why is it that even if we have "non-palamura" presidents in the past like Cory and Ninoy e you could still hear children cursing? But do you think that the president is the ONLY and MOST LIKELY person to influence a child to curse? Well, kung magmura man ang anak or pamangkin ko e nagkulang iyan ng guidance from me. I won't blame the president or (any other people for that matter) sa pagmumura ng anak/ pamangkin ko.

As for the other issues, it looks like you have already decided on your vote so there's no use answering on this thread. But for those who are still undecided and considering Duterte, feel free to visit this thread. His supporters have eloquently (and convincingly, if I may add) already addressed these issues.

We may not share the same views and perspective Sis but I respect your choice. Good luck on your candidate! :)

^^remember, Australian citizen ang rape victim therefore  may right ang Australian gov't na magexpress ng opinion nila about the issue.

How will you explain that?

And please don't tell me na there's no use answering to this thread. This thread is about Mar Roxas, both positive and negative comments are welcome here.

^regardless of any candidate, it's just that you might offend parents with that kind of thinking. the president is not reflection of a kid's attitude. nasa pagpapalaki po yan. sa ibang issue nalang po kayo mag argue. :)

tennisgirl, so kung makita nya nagmumura ang Presidente and gayahin, you mean to say wala ka ng control over the child and mas may infuence pa ang Presidente kesa sayo bilang magulang? I find that hard to believe.

So sino ang mababalikan? Dba dapat we should practice what we preach sa mga bata?

Natatawa ako sayo, tennisgirl. Masyado mong dinidiin ang pagmumura factor when we all know that there are several aspects to a candidate, as with all human beings, more than how he speaks.

Tennisgirl may i remind you nagmumura rin si Roxas. Wack wack incident.

In 6 mos, aalisin ang krimen. Ano yun? Lokohan? may nalalaman pang jetski, banana boat gusto nya ring i-try?  Kaya naman yung pagmumura factor ang na-emphasize is because yan ang binigyan emphasis din ng Aquiline. I'm justifying kung bakit yan ang isa sa mga pinoint out ko.

disciplina?

^^I guess lahat naman tayo nagmumura dba? kahit siguro ikaw din sis chicafabulosa nagmumura kahit expression lang at di sinasadya  yun nga lang not as frequent as Duterte  ;)

Just a day after Mar said na umuunlad na raw ang Pinas at na sinosolusyunan na daw ang problema sa MRT. Sabi nga ni Digong, "susmaryosep!"

Magandang Monday surprise yan sis Iampennylane for the commuters.

tennisgirl, yes i understand the victim is an australian and the ambassador has the right to express her view about it.However it was told during an election rally. Some people may perceive it that they are meddling with the politics. Hope this link will explain further and help us all understand more about the election rule that the ambassadors may have violated because of their comments even if they dont have any intention of doing so.

http://www.rappler.com/nation/politics/elections/2016/130439-ambassadors-comments-duterte-rape-joke

Quote
Duterte’s “rape joke” is more than just an issue of feminism or women’s rights, it has a political layer. Gorely and Goldberg’s statements, even if intended as apolitical, have been spoken in a politically-charged context that they are unavoidably perceived as political.

The distasteful remarks are being used by various camps to question Duterte's fitness to hold the country’s highest office. With the election happening in a few weeks, any statement coming from ambassadors can have an unavoidable bearing on how public opinion on Duterte and his candidacy is shaped.

The comments of the diplomats could be interpreted by voters as Australia's or the United States' expression of non-preference of Duterte, if taken extremely. Under these circumstances, their statements can come within the purview of Section 81.

The ambassadors' views that are critical of Duterte’s “rape joke” can be interpreted as “aiding” his rival candidates, as they stand to directly benefit from any bad press the tough-talking mayor gets. It must be remembered that the law qualified the word “aiding” with “directly or indirectly,” to cover those indirect means of aiding candidates, even if the benefit is merely residual.

Those critical views against Duterte could also be interpreted as “influencing”the local election, which is the second mode of violating Section 81.

Nasaan ang sympathy sa taong mababa. Parang ang sagot Nya pasensya ka na Kung di umabot sayo ang tulong ng philhealth Pero eto yung dami ng natulungan namin, so what's the point???

I feel bad for you if you're basis of a good president is hindi dapat nagmumura kasi baka gayahin ng anak mo. I even feel bad for your kid if the way you control their mouth is because of what the president's say. Cleary your kid is watching too much TV, and what's even the PG for? haha.

By the way sis, napanood nyo yung video na nagroronda yung lalaki namimigay ng sticker na duterte? and then nadaanan nila ang Roxas team campaigning and shouting "Yes Duterte tayo, trabaho lang to". Its so funny. They even asked for Duterte stickers.

Let's think outside of the box.

Do what you preach. Eh kasi, puro satsat walang aksyon. Ika nga eh, puro ngawa walang gawa. Hindi nag nagmumura, me nagawa ba? :D

lahat naman tayo nagmumura, in private nga lang. :D

Back to Mar:
But I will not still vote for him. :D

sis chicafabulosa: thank you for the explanation but I don't view the two ambassadors' comments as a form of "aiding" "directly/indirectly" Duterte's rival candidates. I think the ambassadors are smart enough/ they know that they should not interfere with another country's politics.

sis aktib: sorry pero wala pa akong anak at kung meron man, I will not let my child/children to watch or even listen to Duterte.

I will neither vote for him nor Grace Poe. And FYI, dba si Martin Romualdez na mismo ang nagpatunay that Mar Roxas risked his life nung Yolanda? Romualdez is related to Imelda na alam naman natin na kalaban ng mga Aquino. Nakakagulat. Eto nga pala yung article, in case you haven't heard about it:
