their products are a nightmare to me. as in NIGHTMARE - probably the worst that happened to my skin. i was reluctant to buy them but i have a friend who is into networking. una she was encouraging me to join but i don't have the time and the patience to do it so i agreed to try her products first in order to help her out na din.
i ended up getting their "bestsellers". cc cushion, eye gel, and cloud cream. i used the eye gel first, immediately i developed milia type bumps around my left eye. di ko pinansin. then after a few days (after negative skin patch test on my arm of course), i used the cloud cream then cc cream as instructed. then went out to do grocery shopping. almost 5 hours of being out then getting home, i washed my face and that's when i felt rough patches and bumps sa face ko. hindi naman sya itchy or painful. then when i inspected closely sa mirror ayun na nga ang bumps, which turned into angry comedones and cystic pimples first sa forehead, then sa chin, sides ng cheeks, etc. walang araw na hindi ako tinubuan ng comedones and pimples anywhere on my skin. bonus pa na nagka rashes ako and nagbakbak skin ko na may rough patches. after the flaking, i was left with dark brownish discoloration sa forehead which i'm still dealing with now. this happened january this year lang.
i did not use any product that day but my regular facial wash lang then these nlighten stuff na. with the immediate reaction, i knew it was the culprit.
sad part is, i already spent hundreds of thousands on extra treatments sa derma, medications, and a complete overhaul of skincare products. i had to throw everything away and start anew. my skin is very sensitive to begin with, but i chose to trust my friend when she said hypoallergenic and safe the products. that she's a living testimony because she's using them as well. i told her a blow-by-blow account of what happened to me but wala man lang sya naitulong sa akin maski ano. even offer something. she only took the products back and returned my money but after that wala na. naglaho na sya. hid her fb wall from me. she kept on saying she will follow up sa manager nya on how to help me out or at least refer my case to their higher ups kaso walang word from her til now. i considered suing the company pa nga because of the depression it caused me due to my skin condition, not to mention actual financial damages pa because of my medical treatments. kaso my friend just said na baka it was my derma's products and treatments that exacerbated the problem. that sana daw i did not seek medical help muna but instead pinagpahinga ko nalang my skin baka allergic reaction lang daw. i was taken aback by that na parang naghuhugas na sya ng kamay. na kesyo out na daw ang company sa nangyari saken because it was my sole responsibility na as a buying client to be wary of the products i buy. she even showed me this memo from their company na they are not liable daw for any untoward reactions because their products are supplementary lang naman and should not be considered treatments or what. grabe diba. sad lang nawala pa friendship namin because of what, money i guess? or i don't know. why she didn't help me at all, i can't fathom. to think i purchased the products for the same reason - to help her out. kahit moral obligation nalang sana kaso wala din, sinisi pa ako. oh well, life nga naman.
sorry long post but that is my story. i'm 90% healed now. almost no marks na from a 6-month ordeal dahil sa products na to. i have pictures of my progress to back my claims so if may magalit or mang away sa akin, i have proof hehe.
now to the products themselves, the eye gel is okay naman ingredients wise. and halos same ingredients list with Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye, but who can tell kung totoo yung nasa box nila, right? the smell is off. hindi din totoo yung promise ng product na instant lift. no moisturizing effect at all. para ka lang nagpahid ng tubig na malagkit sa skin. cloud cream naman smells gross. it's heavy and thick and has a cottage cheese-like consistency. gross talaga. i think there is a bangkok or korean product na cloud cream. yun yata ang original. whitens in an instant? oo kasi WHITE ang kulay ng product so after application puputi ka talaga. but when you wash it off, it's gone. i find the instant whitening claim absurd. cc cushion was smelly too, amoy matanda, too difficult to blend and too white ang shade. not pearl white but as in ghostly white, parang nakalutang your face when you wear it. the products are too expensive pa, not worth your money, drugstore korean products are way better. packaging lang yata ang maganda.
overall my advice, don't risk it. if you have sensitive skin like me, be cautious na lang. don't waste your money. P.S. hindi ako networker so no reason for me to make panira. like what i said i have proof to back my claims.
