Hi sis jamie143, rienny25 is right, there are so many red flags with your coordinator.

- Never book a supplier without seeing the contract detailing the scope of work. How many meetings, timeline of tasks, templates to fill up, deliverables before and during the wedding.
- Should you pay dp, immediately ask for a signed contract.
- Never book an important supplier without reviews from the internet or actual friends. Yung mga souvenirs, ganyan i booked nobodys but for major suppliers i always ensure i am backed up with reviews.
- If you already found a scenario that doesn't make sense (you turned over church reservation but it wasnt reserved), you should stop further payments and ensure they do that first. Kulitin mo.
- And no, most churches dont ask for documents to reserve your date. Samin names at reservation fee lang talaga, then they give you a provisional receipt after. Churches ask you to start submitting the docs around 3-4 months before the wedding lang.
- My coordinator (Kutchie Zaldarriaga) never handles money, even supplier payments on the day itself. There are some who do, pero ingat lang, dapat reputable.
- You've paid 50% DP and your wedding is so far away-- medyo fishy to. Most suppliers dont even ask for 50% upon booking.
- As you've said you do most of the supplier inquiries and bookings padin--- then kaya mo kumuha ng OTD coordination from somebody else rather than full coordination na niloloko ka lang
- Try to avoid booking one person for multiple services, kasi pag sablay yan, fail ka na in multiple things. That is why for peace of mind i also book all services separately.

For peace of mind, it might be better to get yourself out of the situation. Your wedding is so far away pa and you dont need to stress this much.

Guys I am so thankful to know you all.. thank you so much for all the advices and feedbacks niyu. Ngayon ko lang nalaman yung mga ibang nightmare na nangyari between kay coordinator and sa old client niya. Now inaagapan na namin siya. Nagmessage na kami sa friend ni hoby para kausapin ang tito niya na ipull out na namin ang contract with him. and we want it as FULL REFUND. Sobrang nadala ako sa experience na ito. Siya lang ang sobrang naging problema namin. Glass garden as my venue/passioncooks as my caterer and bliss and berries as my photographer ang gagaan kausap at professional talaga! kay bliss and berries with messaging them nagupdate ng contract sa amin dahil sa binayad namin na partial na downpayment. pero si coordinator na sobra namin siyang Now I really learned my lesson! I am checking my contract also sa kanila and to my surprised I cannot see the contract na sinigned ko! Waaaah! I am checking my emails para sure mukhang di ata ako nagsend back ng signed contract ko sa kanya! #crossfinger eto na pagasa namin kumawala....

^ we got Imbitado Events OTD coordination + events hosting. Mabilis naman sumagot si Miss Ayie. Wala pa ako masyado masasabi sakanya kasi next year pa yung kasal namin. Pero dami kasi good feedback sakanila kaya sila kinuha ko. Sa hosting naman, she send me a sample video and h2b like how she communicated sa mga guests.

Next year December pa kasi yung wedding. Hehe. Then okay lang ba humingi ng trusted supplier nila?

TIA!

Absolutely Knot Events bride here. Pero we had meeting last week, very okay sila. Re sa negative feedback sa kanila before, I guess it’s the coordination between client and them lang. So despite of that feedback, we still trust them. And also one (1) event sila per day. I remember, may kasabay pa akong magbook sa date ng wedding namin. Good thing first come first serve basis sila. Hahaha! Binigyan kami ng 1 week pencil booking. After nun saka sila mageentertain ng iba pang couple. Di ko na hinintay yung 1 week, nagdeposit na agad kami to block the date. :) After magdeposit, nagsend agad ng worksheets and contract si Ms. Kimmy. Sobrang helpful ng worksheet. Dun namin nalaman na marami pala kaming hindi pa naplano even up to the smallest possible detail. :)

We got AK Events by Ms. Kim din. Booked her last year for our December Wedding this year. Overseas bride din ako, and i got the this is it feeling.

Sis jamie143, when it comes to feedback pareho naman silang okay talaga as coordinators. Kung ano nasa puso mo, and kung san mo maramdaman na sila yung mag fi-fit sa personality mo and mag jive sa inyo, then go for it sis. =)

Happy preps and hope this helps! =)

Hi,

Anyone here tried The Wedding Planner PH? Her name is Maxine. I know she's nice naman but may I know if may nakaexperience na (either good or bad) sa service nila. I would like to get them sana pero nagdadalawang isip pa ko since Sir Lowell of 7ten5 events seems so nice and maayos kausap. I guess I'll just let the fiance decide.

Anyway, isa pang concern ko. May nakausap kasi ako na coordinator and she gave me a heads up na sagot namin un 2 meals nila (lunch and dinner). Since hapon un wedding ko. So I have to feed my suppliers and coordinators lunch and dinner. I was thinking kung kukuha kami ng crew meal for their dinner but for their lunch we'll have takeout foods na lang for everybody. Di kaya alangan un? Hahaha.

Hi sis pinagpilian ko din silang dalawa pero ended up booking AK Events of Ms Kim. Next year parin yung wedding namin kaya wala pa akong review. Much better if i-meet mo sila then decide after that kung kanino mo ma feel yung "this is it" then go for it. :) Good luck.

Mga sis bigyan niyu naman ako feedbacks after ng wedding niyu with your coordinator. Hirap magdecide kasi eh.

^Jamie143, this is a tip from DTS in choosing all kinds of suppliers, not just coordinators. Huwag padala sa freebies. Track record is more important:)

Actually sis factor yan kung bakit sya din pinili ko plus out of town wedding ako, mas mura yung oot fee nya and hosting fee. :)

Sis kailan nga ulit wedding mo? We got them kaso Dec2016 pa kami. Actually we did not inquire with other coord, nakafeel kasi agad kami ng comfy feeling with Ms Kimmy. We also got her as our emcee. :)
