Hello mga sis! I have a question, our wedding will be on Feb. 10, 2017 and it will be a garden wedding. My fiance is a Christian and I am Catholic, ang church nila is Foursquare church any idea if kailangan ko ba magpa baptize before wedding? Our officiant is their Pastor. TIA

^Hi sis! Really depends on the regulations/requirements of their church. For us no need to be baptized agad agad. Just have to attend a pre marital counseling. Maybe it would help if you wil ask for a checklist of their requirements. May binigay samin kaya yun yung kino complete namin.  :)

Hi sis, I actually considered having our reception sa Rock garden nila but natakot ako sa pagka-erratic ng weather kaya we chose a hotel reception. I would suggest renting a tent for Plan B just in case umulan :)

You may want to check Bro Edwin Tullao. We'll have a garden wedding on December 2016 too. :)

Hi CCF members kami ni H2B. Does anybody know how we can start to get ourselves married under CCF pastors?

Baptized na ako when I was in high school after attending a retreat, and I have an official Certificate of Membership from CCF.

H2B naman became a Christian after namin maging couple when we were teenagers so ang tagal na din niyang attendee. Pero he's not baptized yet. How do we go kaya? May mga counseling pa ba na needed and other documents?

^Yes sis may counseling pa. Ok na atleast 1 of the couple ang member. Pero both should be christians. Go to the admin's office, sign the form for weddings and get scheduled for pre marital counseling. They will also give you a list of docs to submit including format. :)

Hope this helps to all my sisters walking in Christ. We are currently attending Every Nation VCF. My fiancee is Catholic and I'm a Christian. We attended the Blueprint for Marriage seminar, One2One, and then we're both water baptized after Victory Weekend. It's a wonderful experience 'cause you will have a deeper understanding and relationship with God. Our wedding will be officiated by one of the Victory Pastors. I think this is a must for all soon-to-weds - to get to know Christ more and build a strong foundation with Him before starting a family of your own.

Hello mga sis!

I'm helping a friend for her wedding. They will have a Garden wedding in Christian rites.  Question po, after acquiring marriage licenses, ano po next step? Dadalhin ba nila ito sa civil registrar ng city na may sakop ng venue nila to get the blank/marriage certificates? After the ceremony at mapirmahan nila yung certificates at nag officiate ng kasal, pano po ang registration nito?

Sorry dami tanong. Im used sa church and catholic wedding na bahala na ang church sa pag register ng kasal.

Thank u in advance.

Hello Ladies,
Please help me with my Ceremony Venue :(
Our wedding will be this Nov. 25, 2017, I already booked PSE Auditorium in Tektite (Ortigas) kasi we planned to book sana yung Church of the Risen Lord sa UP since we know na pwede mag Christian Wedding dun, kaso lang booked na sila.
Ngayon wala akong Ceremony venue.
thank you so much!!

Hi! Anyone knows a solemnizing officer? I'm a born again christian by birth (but not active with any fellowship). I attend mass from time to time (catholic / Victory / other christian churches) and my bf is a Catholic.

Question is-- legal ba magkasal ang solemnizing officer? Or is it better pakasal muna kami civil w/ a judge then have a solemnizing officer to officiate and formalize our wedding?

I don't want to go thru a series of 1on1 kasi just to be a member of the church and be water baptized (if needed?). But ok lang for me yung marriage seminars. I think that will help in preparing us for the married life.

Thanks

I have an issue similar to the last post. I was baptized in a Protestant church, but while growing up I started attending born again christian churches, but I'm not active anymore. Fiance is Catholic, doesn't want to convert to anything and doesn't attend mass. We're eyeing a Christian ceremony, one, to satisfy my parents, and two, because we hate the paperwork and the venue restrictions that go with a Catholic ceremony. Then it turns out Christian ceremonies have their own share of bureaucratic processes. We don't want to get baptized just so we can get married either. We're also fine with attending seminars, but is there any way around this?
