^hello sis, most christian congregations nagrerequire na either of the couple is a member and both are christians. Baka mairapan ka na makahanap ng pastor na papayag.

To lessen your stress sis, why not wed civilly muna tapos yung parang kay chito neri, garden wedding the day after pero solemnizing officer lang (not sure nga kung si ramon bautista ay SO).

hope this helps.

@mindiegirl.

Sis, pwede ba yun? civil wedding muna then yung wedding na may entourage is for formality na lang and hindi na siya yhung talagang legal kasi yung civil wed ang legal?

I think so sis. Kasi nakita ko lang din kila Chito Miranda na wedding. Hehe. Yup essentially parang ganun na nga, yung totoo or LEGAL is yung civil. :)

Hi dears, just want to ask lang. I am baptized as Christian (not active anymore) and my fiancé is Catholic. My mom is actively attending Victory church and we wanted to get their pastor sana for our wedding. If in case magmember kami, do we need to do the water baptism? Is it a requirement ba? Also do we need to be a member para maikasal kami ng Victory pastor? Thanks.

^Yes you need to go through the whole thing. They don't allow it otherwise. I wanted din sana to get Victory to officiate our wedding e kasi dun ako mas madalas umattend. So I inquired then they told me na they only wed yung members nga. And if you want to be a member you have to go through the one to one program which ends with the water baptism. I forgot nga lang what if only one of you is a member kung pano...

fries, if I may site a case of similar church (ccf), only one needs to be a member, but both must be christian for them to officiate your wedding. If I remember it right, no need to have water baptism at once naman.

Thanks sis meixin and mindiegirl!

I'm just confused kasi my mom asked their Pastor and ang sabi it depends on the individual if they want to be a member. Medyo confusing kasi on that part. Voluntarily ang pag member but they will not wed you if not member ganun ba?  :-\

If I may ask sis meixin how did you inquire with Victory church?

Sis mindiegirl so hindi na rin kami pwede sa CCF since Catholic si fiancé no? Oh my, ang hirap pala maghanap ng officiant for us. hehe.

^Sa victory malate before the service starts may parang booth sila for questions or one to one registration. So I inquired there then they set up a meeting with a pastor. So kay pastor ko natanong lahat. Garden Wedding ba target mo? If not kasi, you may want to try episcopal christian churches. They accept catholic baptism kasi so they will just ask you for endorsement from your church, I think :)

Thank you sis meixin and mindiegirl! Big help. Garden wedding kami on December 2016. Since dapat member ng Christian church, napagusapan namin na kay Bro Edwin Tullao na kami kukuha ng officiant, Priest but Christian ceremony. Ayoko din kasi pilitin fiance ko to convert. Para samen kasi same naman ang beliefs ng Christian and Catholic, yun nga lang may mga practices din kasi na iba. So there, nagmeet halfway na lang kami. hehe. Happy Preps! :)

Hi everyone just got married last Jan. 2016. Christian wedding ceremony held in Blue Leaf Filipinas officiated by one of the Pastor in Victory Caloocan.  My Husband is also not yet baptized and I was not also an active member in Victory Caloocan . I was attending service Victory Alabang whenever Im the Philippines  but our senior Pastor here in Dubai recommended Pastor in Caloocan.

Hi ladies! I'll be having a Christian garden wedding. I'm Protestant and my fiance is Catholic but he is willing to have a Christian ceremony and maybe get converted too. For the requirements, we will be attending the seminar from VCF (Blueprint for Marriage) next month. Hopefully, we can get more information there.

hi sis fries, our wedding will be officiated by one of the pastors from Victory U-Belt. One of their requirements is that at least either the bride or the groom is a member kasi if hindi daw the wedding will be null and void.

We attended their wedding prep seminar (consisted of 2 saturdays) and learned a lot about marriage :)

Pero as of now, hindi pa din kami baptized (kamusta naman, ang lapit na ng October) but we will be registering for the Victory weekend scheduled for September and we are currently undergoing one-to-one with one of their leaders.

Hello ladies!

I am so happy to have found this thread.

husband is a born again christian while I am a Catholic. we had a civil wedding last 2014 and we are currently planning for a garden wedding in Tagaytay by Feb 14, 2018. Paano kaya? Their pastor would officiate anyway. Do we have to prepare the legal documents again ba? Sana may naka experience na din ng ganito and be able to somehow enlighten me, haha! Looking forward to hear from you ladies.

Thank you!

No need to prepare for documents since your wedding last 204 is legally binded.
