^^^sis pwede pa ding magpabreastfeed kahit may rashes. Nagkarashes ako noon, di naman nahawa baby ko. Pwede ka din pacheck up basta make sure kung may iinumin ka yung safe sa breastfeeding.

Hi sisses, 6 months pregnant here but as early as now nagstart na ako magread about breastfeeding, ask ko sana if ano po kaya yung mga cosmetic ingredients na hindi pwede gamitin habang nagbbreastfeed? Ang mga anti-acne like salicylic acid & whitening products bawal ba sa nagpapabreastfeed? Thanks po

^pinahinto muna saken ng pB ko un. Mga whitening kahit un IV gluta i was 3 months preggy na pAla pero gumagamit p ako ng Iv glutah every other day high dosage pa.. Thank god wala namAn ngyari sa baby ko pero un mga di ko pa nagamit 9 vials pa at isang bote pa ako nakatago lang hehe next year Na expiration.. kasi EBF si baby di ko pa magamit.

Question on milk bags:

May binigay sa akin yung officemate ko na Sprectra milk bags kaso expired na.  Never niya nagamit.  Almost a year ng expired.  Hindi na ba safe gamitin yun?  Sayang kasi pero ano pwedeng gawin dun if not for milk stash?

may expiration pala ang bm bag, i have sunmum,mom&baby at avent na bm bag na-stock sya last year (bigay ng mga pinagdonate-an ko ng bm ko)

pwede ko pa kaya gamitin iyon? di ko makita expiration date e, nagstop kasi ako magbf march this year because of delicate pregnancy

^Sis, kahit hindi mo kasama si baby pwede ka mag pump, mag pump ka sa bahay katulad ng kung gaano kadalas mag latch si baby for example every 2 hours ganoon ka rin kadalas mag pump. Tapos bili ka ng milk storage bag then lagyan mo ng date. Dalhin mo pag uuwi ka na ng province.

Hi mommies. Pasali po. I'm due April 28 pero I've been reading a lot of threads and blogs na about breastfeeding months ago. I'm beyond excited! I plan to exclusively breastfeed my baby girl.

Share ko pala mommies sa landmark makati andaming nursing covers. I have officemates who use them to battle the ginaw sa office hehe kahit hindi sila nagbbreastfeed gumagamit sila nun. So mejo stylish parin. Parang cardigan lang ang tela niya. And I think mga less than 500 lang siya. Check ko ulit pagbalik ko sa landmark. Ang suggestions pala sa manual breastpump? Ok ba yung Farlin? Manual muna ang bilhin ko kasi nararamdaman ko may magrregalo sakin ng electric breastpump. Haha.

^I have farlin manual pump, and it does the job well. I was gifted din with electric pump pero 2 weeks ko lang nagamit kasi mas efficient yung farlin manual. Hehe.

mga sis, pwede ba sa CR mag pump? as in sa loob ng cubicle? parang ang hassle tska unhygienic lang. Eto ata magiging problem ko once bumalik ako from ML. hinde pa ako nanganganak, naiisip ko pa lang hehe.
Wala kasi kaming nursing room or clinic. Maliit lang office namin, konti lang din yung mga meeting rooms & madalas may gumagamit. Our office pa naman is dominated by men.
Pwede sana dun sa  Office manager namin since nagiisa siyang babae na may sariling room pero naman ang awkward diba mag pump habang ngwowork siya dun, napakaliwanag pa naman ng office niya with a super big window. Tapos, people come and go pa sa office niya.
May suggestion ba kayo mga sis?

Thanks sis simang. Planning to buy farlin na. How about storage bottles na bpa free and hindi ganun ka pricey? I heard looney toons daw maganda?

Sis ficklemind, medyo unhygienic nga pag sa restroom, i suggest sa working area mo na lan mag nursing cover ka na lang. or if okay sa office ng lady boss mo hingi ka lang kahit 15-20 mins para wala munang papasok, but still use your nursing cover.

Sis shadow angel, claim it na, mahirap mag bf sa simula madaming struggles talaga but once you get the hang of it kering keri na. Sabi ko nga dati, sa umpisa parang need mo lahat ng 'accessories' for breastfeeding like nursing pillow, nursing tops, etc etc. pero pag gamay mo na you only need your breasts. Hehe

Sis sofiakat, di ako masyadong gumamit ng storage bottles eh kasi direct latch kami, pero before i just used the classic avent bottles bumili lang ako ng sealing discs para di sila macontaminate sa freezer. Also natry ko fin to use sunmum milk bags, disposable sya. Try mo din bebeta, heard lots of good feedback about it, mura din parang nasa 200 yata 3pcs.

Thanks sis simang..gusto ko talaga gawin sana lang makiayonbang boobs ko.Anyway aattend pa kami ng asawa ko ng seminar regarding sa breastfeeding and 1st time parents. Kailangan namin ng guide talaga dahil wala kaming ibang aasahan dito kami lang talaga mag asawa.  Medyo malayo kasi house ng inlaws ko.

^re: milk storage

I use both SunMum breastmilk bags and Bebeta milk storage bottles. Ok naman pareho. MEdyo manipis yung SunMum than other storage bags pero performance wise, ok naman. It is the cheapest brand of storage bag that i know. BEbeta milk storage bottles are also great.

^ficklemind, avoid pumping in the CR. madumi yun.  when you pump milk, you are making food for your baby.  you cannot possibly cook in the CR di ba? you can pump in your cubicle. that is what i do. i just cover myself with malong. nursing covers are for breastfeeding lang. for pumping,  the best ang malong. absolute ang coverage ng malong. you can even use it to cover yourself to hand express after pumping. (may natitira pa kasi na need pa i hand express to avoid clogged ducts and mastitis.)

mga sis, malabo sa workstation ko, super open kasi   dikit dikit, walang mga divider then nagiisa  akong babae sa team namin pati sa ibang teams puro lalake,  nakakahiya din sa mga katabi ko kasi sila yung maiilang.  Gusto kasing culture dito sa office eh closer mga tao, malapit na magkatamaan mga siko namin ng katabi ko , isang ruler lang pagitan namin
May small meeting room na malapit sakin, pwede ko ilock, ipaalam ko na lang siguro sa mga boss at ibobook ko siya 30 mins twice a day, pwede na kaya yun?
Or yun nga sa kwarto ni Office manager, mabait naman siya siya Mommy namin dito sa office kaso dapat ata ready ako sa chikahan, yun kasi minsan iniiwasan ko esp pag wala naman ako makwento lol

Hi mga sis. Baby is 6 weeks old today so I finally get to start pumping and build my milk stash.

Good thing you girls mentioned the Farlin manual pump. Just bought one yesterday, ok kasi ang reviews sa BFP fb group. Still planning on getting an electric pump but undecided if I need the double pump (Spectra M1) or just settle for a single one (Unimom k-pop) since I'm not working full time naman. I do advocacy work and I'm usually out of the house 3-4 days a week pero hindi rin yun whole day. Flexi hours siya. Would you recommend I get a double pump o kahit single na lang?

Planning to purchase it from babymama para matry ko rin ang pumps. Kaya lang out of stock pa ang Unimom k-pop so punta na lang ako kapag available na ulit. For now, a manual pump will do but I've yet to try the Farlin one.

Years ago, Avent manual ang gamit ko with my panganay. Pinamigay na namin but that worked so well for me. Very efficient sa pagkuha ng milk.

^Sis, better to pump sa meeting room niyo na lang. Kausapin na lang si boss na you need the privacy. Tutal ilang minutes lang naman yun a day. Maganda rin yan para maraise ang breastfeeding awareness and to cultivate gender sensitivity among your male colleagues.
