create more jobs in the provinces so that less people will be coming in here sa Manila. at saka wild thought lang sana  may immigration thingy din bago magpuntahan sa manila ang mga tao to ask them first ano gagawin nila dito kung mag work dapat may job offer kung mag visit sa relatives for a certain period of time lang pero babalik din sa provinces nila. para lang hindi sobrang concentrated sa manila lahat ang mga tao kaya madaming sasakyan madaming tao lahat buhol buhol na.

I recently learned about Clark Green City http://www.greencityclark.com/ which supposed to be the greenest, most efficient city in the Philippines. Alternative to Manila daw. There will even be a UP campus in it. Tapos "socially inclusive" daw, so may mga homes for middle class unlike BGC na puro high-end.  I don't know how long it will take to develop and kung talagang maayos ang implementation, though.

I agree with all of you and i also share the same view with sis purple_tips.

I commute everyday, and i take a cab lagi kesa magpalipat lipat ng transportation bago makarating sa office. Unlike before, say mga 2 years ago, kaya pa eh. Pero ngayon buwis buhay na talaga, you have to take a risk and ask yourself - kung magcocommute ako, makakasakay kaya ako agad? may sasakyan ba? baka sobrang dami na ng  tao?

Based on my observation, sobrang ibang iba na ngayon lalo for the past 2 years. Sobrang congested na kasi ang metro manila. And i don't condemn those who buy their own cars (na lalong nakadagdag sa traffic). If i have the means, i would buy also atleast di ako mangangamba araw araw kung makakasakay ba ako o hindi.

Yes, dapat i-improve ang transpo system. I learned this morning lang na di lang sa land may problem kundi pati sa sea and air traffic, magulo na din.
Dapat yung mga naka-assign (dotc) should have the correct political will and solid plans to address this problem.

Yes i agree that i am the traffic jam. Kung wala ako doon hindi sana ako maiipit sa traffic.

Well i guess kung hindi naman importante ang lakad wag na lang umalis. Pag alam mo nang rush hour And you have a way to avoid it then be on the road before mag rush hour.

me i've found several ways of avoiding being stuck in traffic hawak ko kasi oras ko. I can also choose to be at a certain place or have stuff delivered to me na lang. As much as possible rin pinag sabay sabay ko na ang mga gagawin ko para isahan lakad na lang. I can't say i have avoided it altogether but i can say na minimize ko na ma stuck sa traffic. On weekends i stay home less gastos and mas relax pa.

I know a lot of people cannot do what i do, but i really hope magkaroon na ng solution diyan. It costs time and money. Perwisyo talaga ang traffic.

When I was in college, nagcocommute ako from Taguig to Diliman and sa pagpasok it takes 1.5 hour lang halos. Ngayon it takes 2-3 hours, considering nag-mmrt na ko nun. Ang naisip ko nga noon biglang nagkaroon ng population explosion dito.

Hindi lang mga pasahero, sobrang dami na ring mga sasakyan. Kahit sa mismong kalye namin sa bahay noon e iilan lang ang mga nakaparada, ngayon minsan hindi na makatawid kasi sunod-sunod mga kotse.

Dapat magkaroon ng (1) effective transport system and (2) sana magkaroon ng business areas in the provinces. I think naman the latter is on the works. Ang problema lang kasi ng mga companies yung workforce andito talaga sa Metro Manila, and the infrastructure mas okay rin dito. If they can make that work, good para mabalance out naman yung residents hindi nagtipon lahat dito sa Manila.

Malaking factor sguro yung hindi organize at kulang kulang na facilities ng govt para ayusin yung mga transportation. if hindi hassle ang public transportation madaming maeengganyong mag commute pati din yung bikers lane at para sa mga naglalakd lang, unsafe kase sa manila sa ibang lugar maglakad kahit nga naka sasakyan ka na hindi pa din safe.

discipline sana muna sa public officials then sa mga residents. pati kase mga naka assign yung iba pasaway din ee.

sa economy din madaming naghihirap kaya napipilitan na gumawa ng masama.

tsaka dadagdag puntos na din yun ngang mag karun ng jobs sa provinces, karamihan kase lalo na hindi highly urbanized na cities sa province ay kokonti lang ang job opportunities at maliit pa ang minimum pero malaki ang presyo ng bilihin
