Bakit daw ganun?
Sa lolo ko ilang linggo lang nabigay na.
Kumpleto requirements ba?

kulang po. kaya sangkaterba requirements ang hinihingi.. birth cert / baptismal ng lolo ko, at birth cert ng parents ng lolo ko.. yun mga talagang pahirapan na requirement, eh matagal ng patay magulang ng lolo ko. gudlak di ba. ang pinaka malala dun yun sabihan ka ng "luluha muna kayo ng dugo bago nyo makuha pera nyo" kainis..  pero sa awa ng Diyos nabigay din..

I hope someone can enlighten us regarding SSS Death Benefit of my uncle. Here’s the scenario:
My uncle (husband) passed away last July of this year, he had a wife but unfortunately for so XXX years they were not living  together (the wife went to province and the husband stayed with his siblings. )  When the husband died, his sibling processed his papers to claim for SSS benefits. His siblings found out that the husband is entitled to received monthly pension and compensation for his burial and they were able to claim his burial because they were the one who took charge taking care of his funeral. As for the monthly pension, the SSS informed the siblings that it is the wife who is entitled to claim the said benefit. However, the wife wasn’t able to process the needed requirements because she (wife) passed away  this August. Now, when the siblings went back to SSS to inquire what will happen to the pension of their brother (husband), they were told that since the couple (husband & wife) doesn’t have children, the pension, if processed, will now be given to the closest relatives of the wife.   Moreover, SSS are asking for so many documents example, affidavit from relatives of both sides of the husband and wife stating that they are really not living together, etc. and to subject these relatives for interviews..
Medyo masama ang loob ng family naming because for the longest time that we had not heard from the wife and didn’t even took care of our uncle when he got sick then sila pa un makjakakuha ng benefit ng uncle namin. Hope you can enlighten us with this specially those who have the same dilemma as ours.. Is this really the ruling of SSS?

Mas mataas talaga claim ng asawa kesa kapatid at walang nakasulat sa batas na kailangan in good terms sila. Pero kung wala na pareho, alam ko dapat talaga sa kapatid na..

2 years ago, my husband, for the first time tried to get a loan from SSS. It was his first and last time. hehe We got 30k loan from SSS and we placed it in a Mutual Funds. The only reason why we had a loan is for us to try how it really works. And during that time, there was also a rumor that if you don't use your SSS for loans, someone will use it. It was so not worth it. My husband also moved to another company after a year and there was a delay in posting the loan payment. Just this July, my husband was wondering why he was still getting a deduction for his loan when it was supposed to end on May. When he checked with the payroll Department, there has been a delayed in posting of the payment - so there was a confusion between the Company and SSS. Since, the payment was already submitted to SSS, there was no way of filling for a refund for the 1 month over payment. I have a Grade School Classmate that works in SSS and was advised that SSS doesn't process any refund and the only way that the over payment will be returned to him is when he applied for another loan.

It was really a bad decision on our ends. At least we learned something from it.

Yan din gusto namin gawin eh.. Para lang magamit SSS kasi nga daw baka magamit ng iba.

Salary Loan payment ko last Sep 2 di pa din posted til now Sep 21. San ba ako magtatanong sa Bayad Center or sa SSS office?

Question ko lang wala na bang voluntary sa SS? Kasi gusto ko sanang hulugan ang SS ko. Kasi never pa akong naghulog. I have SS number pero hindi nahulugan. So first time kong maghulog sana ng  voluntary. Ano ba gagawin. Puwedebang derecho na lang sa counter at check ko na lang sa form na voluntary ang huhulugan ko. What do you think mga sis. Sensya na diko alam gagawin

Hi sis. Recently i change my sss to voluntary. Better when you go to sss office punta ka muna sa verification counter para ma-validate ang record mo. Sometimes they are the one who will fill-up the payment form before you proceed sa payment counter

^depende kung may employer ka or wala na.

if home-based and may employer ka, depende na sa usapan niyo ng employer yun. like my sister, she works at home pero foreigner yung boss niya. She included in her asking price yung payment for SSS and other mandated benefits. Pwedeng hati kayo depende sa usapan. Kung home based naman na sarili mo yung business (ikaw employer/boss), of course you will shoulder everything.

Hello!  Does anyone here knows how long before an over the counter payment reflects in the sss online account? Hindi kasi na carry over from my previous company to my new one yung loan ko so i paid some of the loan amount sa sss pasig. I can see the payment na online pero pag check ko sa loan balance.. Hindi pa din bawas yung last payment ko. Medyo confused lang ako and unfortunately, wala naman chat support ang sss and no one answers when you call their hotline. Thank you mga ka GT! 😊

Anyone here na nag-avail ng SSS Loan Restructuring Program? Matagal ba ang process like pababalikin ka pa ba kahit complete ang requirements or one-day lang? TIA!

Sa Ortigas po ako nagwowork, pwede ba sa Las Pinas SSS ako magbayad ng loan payment? Hindi ko kasi pinapakaltas sa employer ko kasi ang slow nila e,

^^Sabi ng coworker ko, one day lang daw sa kanya. Mabilis lang. Kaya yung mga maga-apply, mag-apply na! Haha, parang advertisement lang. Malapit na kasi matapos, no? Until april na lang.

^ Thanks sis! Medyo matagal na rin yung loan ko, almost 4 years na, dapat mabayaran kase ang laki ng penalty!
