Hello mga sis. Question lang, my mom will reach 60 on 2018 but won't complete the mandatory 120 contributions by that time. Sa compute namin, she'll have her 120th contribution pa on 2022 and she'll be 64 years old then.
Is there a way she could receive pension at age 60? We're thinking to do advance payment to cover the minimum 120 monthly contributions. Is it possible?

hi mga sis ask ko lang first time ko kasing mag loan then  i forget to ask them kung paano ba pag may loan magbabayad parin ba ng monthly contri bukod pa sa monthly amortization sa loan? or pwedeng ba yung monthly amortization lang ang huhulugan? from employed to voluntary kakaresign ko lang kasi sa co. tia.

^ yes sis, you have to pay your loan as well as your monthly contribution.
Kung voluntary it's up to you if contri or loan muna ang babayaran mo or both.

Pa HELP naman po... Lumaki nalang ng lumaki ang Loan ko sa SSS as hindi naman naprocess ng dati kong employer...
Anyhow... may idea ba kayo kung may consolidation ba tawag dun or what anytme soon yung half lang babayaran? ano ba tawag don? sorry nalimutan ko na

I have a question regarding the UMID. Mga gaano kaya katagal bago nila madeliver?

Thanks, Tumblrista and gwyne21, it's good to know na hindi naman pala masyado matagal. May nababasa kasi ako dati na up to six months daw...I wasn't sure if those were isolated cases lang or ganun talaga!

Pang calamity victims pala yung condonation right now. But someone I know from SSS said that try pa rin daw nung iba, for approval pa naman, walang mawawala if they file.

we have an officemate who recently retired. she worked for only one office. she said at the time of her retirement on Oct 2015 she was earning 25k monthly and her contributions were the highest possible contribution. she got some retirement pay from the company but this did not breach the 1M pesos mark. and she got the ultimate shock of her life when she found out that her monthly pension is only 9000 per month. she said the amount is not even half of her previous monthly salary and she was lost on how to augment the big discrepancy. =(

considering her monthly bills like water, electricity and maintenance medicine the 9k is not enough.

Kaya nga sa mga nababasa ko na blog about financial don't rely sa SSS as a retirement fund

^ pero it defeats the purpose of being a retirement pension plan.. so right now having another pension plan is an investment kase at 9k walang taong mabubuhay nyan..

From private company nasa government na ko. Now I'm thinking if magvovoluntary pa ko sa SSS or just stick with GSIS nalang? Kasi malaki din contribution ko sa SSS yung highest. Thoughts girls?

Mga sis, how long ba nadedeliver yung check from salary loan? I filed my salary loan online and approved by my employer online din.

^If may extra ka naman sis, tuloy mo na lang. Okay din naman yung mga benefits and claims in general sa SSS.

^ Sa amin sis 1 week lang dumating na yung check.  Yung kay Hubby naman took 3 weeks.  Depende rin sa employer.
