Question: Upon receiving the check and the voucher for the salary loan, you have to submit the latter to HR so that the deduction will be thru your salary and you don't have to settle it personally. Am I understanding it right? Please enlighten.

Yes, tama ka jan sis. Pero in my case, when I renewed my loan years back, kahit di ko binigay yung voucher sa HR, automatic pa rin may deductions ako.

I just read from fb comments( in a financial group) na if kukuha ng SSS mas ok na minimum yung payments. Then if malapit ka ng magretire 2-3 years, ah saka lakihan yung contribution.

Pano ba computation nila for pension?

Magccreate sana ako ng online account, so I went to the Online Member User ID Registration Page, pero hindi kasya ang first name ko. My given name consists of 18 characters ~ 2 names kasi, and 15 lang pwede i-enter. How to proceed?

^Same din sa'kin sis, I just typed in kung hanggang saan yung limit meaning putol yung name ko. Akala ko nung una wala ako system nag panic pa ako pero ganun nga putol lang pala. If I remember it correctly, tumawag pa ako sa hotline and they verified it.

With regard to the salary loan, I just finished paying off my first ever salary loan last month. 2 years kase pala yung deductions nun and I thought sobra na ng kaltas ng 1 month pero nabasa ko sa website na yung posting pala nung deduction sa salary is 1 month after the release nung cheque, so sakto lang. I just checked my payslip for this month and wala na yung deduction for the SSS loan.

It's been a month already but I still haven't got my check yet for the Salary Loan. I already emailed our HR but there's no check yet for me daw. I also emailed SSS but no reply until now.

What shall I do?

@Tumblrista sis baka delay lang since its the holiday season na. Registered ka ba online? You can check the status of your loan there.

@atemai sis pag may unpaid loan ka sa sss nag iinterest sya. Better check it with SSS or online kung registered ka. You can pay it on your own para hindi lumaki ng lumaki ang interest.

I tried to register today online. It gave me an error that my SS number is already registered; also says there's discrepancy sa name. I'm scared na na-fraud yung account ko!!
I don't remember successfully registering, kasi nga dilemma ko dati di kasya name ko.

Pa HELP naman po... Lumaki nalang ng lumaki ang Loan ko sa SSS as hindi naman naprocess ng dati kong employer...
Anyhow... may idea ba kayo kung may consolidation ba tawag dun or what anytme soon yung half lang babayaran? ano ba tawag don? sorry nalimutan ko na

It turns out, ako talaga ang nag register sa sarili ko, millions of years ago. I used a very old email.
Buti alam ko pa password. Pero ang pag register ko noon is my 2nd name was cut dahil nga kulang sa space.
But I was able to log in and apply for Salary Loan. Kaso, the cheque pala ay ipapangalan based sa name mo sa online account ~ which is putol nga.
I called their center, and sabe, I have to go to SSS Branch where my employer handles contribution and have it signed ng SS Branch Manager.
Hassle! Dapat ang name ng cheque is based sa SSS number.

so, sa sobrang busy at dahil sunon-sunod ang out-of-town trips ko the past month, nakalimutan ko na deadline pala today ng quarterly premium ko sa sss (self-employed member). kaya pa kaya kung bukas ako magbabayad?

Someone mentioned this to us din and they are now pensioners now. I wonder how 'minimum' is 'minimum'? Sana some sisses here can share something about this, too. Thanks!

Mga sis, about sa sss pension, I thought so too na okay lang nasa minimum ka magstart basta yung last 5yrs mo na contribution bago ka mag retire at 60yo ay gawin mong highest contribution para dun magbabase kung magkano magiging monthly pension mo, which will be the highest, or so we thought

But this is wrong. I came across this article few weeks back and SSS answered this misunderstanding. Hindi daw puwde na mag jump from lowest contribution to highest in just one go. Pakonti konti each year amg tamang pag increase ng contribution, until we reach the highest contribution and maintain it till we reach retirement age, bago pa man tayo maging qualified to avail the highest pension rate.

Magkano ang highest contribution sa SSS?parang nasa 1500 kasi samin eh, I wonder kung magkano makukuha ko pag nagretire na ako.
